As I said earlier, she'd light up like a torch in a headlight, so no way he doesn't see her. In fact, you can see he moved towards her (he was on her right, as he came up the street).

So she avoids the family because she can't manage the impersonation as SJ because she doesn't know her background. All she has is facial appearance. And she probably isn't even aware of the feet issue, so that is what will expose her in the end to JD.

But you know what, Sher? I think we're over-thinking this and giving the writers too much credit (something I learned from TRHC). She might just be SJ and to heck with all the legal and logical requirements we are assuming the writer will follow.

There is too much happening now. We went from 50 episodes of nothingness to now having to resolve both the KS-as-grandson issue and SunJu and her plot too? In addition uniting KS/MR for final, dealing with Aunty Ding/DH; YJ/Donggy; and maybe even JD/JP. Ughhhhh

You are not Debbie Downer and I very much agree with you. Every time they show his face, now with that "new and improved gentle smile" I want to reach thru the TV and choke him. IF YJ does know EVERYTHING about him and STILL wants to go for it, then fine, but who is going to be that honest with her and expose all his faults? MR doesn't want to talk about it.

Even if she IS SunJu, why would she come back? If she really needs JD for some kind of medical donor-thing, she doesn't have time to waste in courting JD and convincing her to go to USA (does JD even have a passport?). She needs to grab her, tell her whats up and get her to US post-haste, and tell KS on the way to the airport.

I really liked the old theory here that she was back to get a formal divorce so she could marry again because she already has a family out-of-wedlock (or whatever). In other words, she needed a favor. And not only would she be humbled but be exposed to her mother that she was a bad person after all. So I have no idea where they are going with this now.

Exactly. I would lean more towards the fake passport. We saw that trope used in the prior daily 'The Love in Your Eyes' when the villianess tried to skip the country with fake (korean) passports. But if she'd been in the US all this time (10 years), she would have had time to become a US citizen under her real name I'd guess, except that I'd imagine US authorities would query their SK counterparts who would discover she'd been reported as a missing person? Confusing to say the least.

Yep. a new style US passport! which means she either has a US birth certificate or is a Naturalized US citizen.

if you look at the MDL comments from this writers prior shows, you’ll see similar complaints about the pacing of the shows. So no lessons learned here.

Thank you for saying that. I've been bitching about their attitude towards us viewers for a while. And the lack of continuity from this show is driving me crazy .

What kills me is that they treat 20 years ago as if it's in the 1950s! "She died so long ago that there are no records" UH WRITERS, THAT WOULD BE 2004, THEY HAD THE INTERNET, EMAIL AND EVEN CELFONES! Sheesh. I'm pretty sure there would be computerized death records in 2004. Good Grief.

Re: what was feeding her hatred? I can only imagine that she had this perfect life set up for this girl she adopted and "saved" and the payback she gets is that she'll live as a working-class insta-mom and wife. MR was her "project" (or puppet as the subs said) and all she sees is ingratitude. "Do you think I worked so hard to raise you to marry you off to someone like him" is what she told her just before the line about regretting adopting her.

And I've never seen a kdrama where the time skip isnt denoted on the screen. That whole episode seemed rushed.

I think long enough for the surgery. He's so loaded, he wouldn't have to force her, she's enough of a money-grubber (given her profession) he could set her up nicely in the US for a while as a payoff.

I STILL suspect CR may be in on this. I don't buy that she's suddenly accepted him, without even a traumatic THRC-sytle family confession. She did terrible things, to him (bribery) and to MR (that horrible line about adoption). And she showed her true contempt for both of them. I can buy InOk's redemption, sort-of...it was cheesy but whatever. But this one, NO WAY JOSE.

And I agree with your earlier post about the motorcycle. He saw her coming from way down the street (you can hear his exhaust and see his headlight), plus she was wearing a light-colored dress and her skin is so pale, she probably glows in the dark. So she'd stand out in his headlights. Something fishy about that whole thing.

I think those tears from MR were real, too.

I would really like to see some genuine affection initiated by YD this time. I'm still giving her the side-eye.

I really liked the YM character (well, actress, actually), but they never seemed to know what to do with her, except be the cheerleader for TK/YD pre-InOk meltdown. And if she splits with DW, what does she do? Continue to manage SK? I can't see that working out. So I guess it's back to America for her, or God Forbid Jae and that wacky family.

Oh Lord, I can hardly wait for this weekend. You'd better get to sleep on time tomorrow night.

And good catch with Hee's mom. The HAVE referenced that her son is looked after by his Grandmother, in Hee's frequent absences. But I don't know if that's her mother or the boy's father's-mother. I don't believe that's been clarified, unless she specifically mentioned HER mother. If so, that would be our elusive 'strawberry' if the Hee-theory is correct.

It seemed like she slapped MR harder than when she slapped Little Dong.
