Since this is KISSING MONDAY, Just for laughs, I went back to the prior 2 weekenders to see when the first meaningful kisses were:

Its Beautiful Now - Ep 18 Yoon Jae & HaeJun (oldest couple and the best kissing scene ever)
Ep 23 - Hyun Jae & MiRae (beautifully filmed at sunset on the beach)

Three Bold Siblings - Ep 15 Sang Jun &Tae Ju (inside restaurant and unusually steamy); Ep 18 Dr Kim & Hyun Jung (my favorite of that series)

So by weekender standards we're behind the curve. And again, in Ep 20 there was another prime opportunity when they embraced outside the tea house....plus had they kissed Evil Inc would have seen THAT.

SIGH

I know, but it took her a while to embrace him back, and she does this all the time. Like, why pause?

Yeah, they know by now it's what we're waiting for. They're teasing us now.

I'd be happy if YD would hug him back when he hugs her. Too many times she just stands there with her arms limp at her sides. Drives me nuts.

BT, I'll say this much: I get a real feeling SJ is up to something. Kim JunHa, be careful: Don't trust Jang SeJin. She has her own agenda.

Well, 26 wasn't a great episode, but was a damn sight better than it's predecessor. Mixed Bag, it was:

HIGHLIGHTS:
- YD restraining TK from going after JH when he said "the baby should have been mine". I really wanted TK to deck him.....sorry, but YEAH.
- The whole TK/Granny scene. It sounded weird on paper, but it was REALLY funny. I'm glad someone on the writing team still has a sense of humor (when he started the countdown I couldn't help but LOL. The breakfast after was great too, with TK turning the screws to her.
- Their talk afterwards. Although not happy, at least she now understands his feelings.
- YD to the rescue at the tea house, thanks to SeJin of all people. What is she REALLY up to?
- Their talk (again) after the tea house. She can't understand that he's so burnt by the family that doing something distasteful is not a big deal since he doesn't care anyways and is why he has kept his distance. But when she starts crying.....man she's good at it and it's tough to watch.
- They're sleeping together again. YAYYYY

LOWLIGHTS:
- No pharmacist or Uncle
- Evil Inc and their dopey plotting.
- That eyelash-missing dirtbag JH. I frickin hate that guy
- The odd look SJ gave the chairman when he told her she would keep her job.
- YM's boss is going after DW!!! No way lady!
- What the heck is Hee doing??? She leaves a $20/hr part time job to be a janitor? And what is she planning? Is she not a good person after all?
- Sperm donors are hard to find? Sperm Banks exist but don't do much?? HUH??? Hey you two, come to the USA to get pregnant....there's sperm everywhere. Well, I don't mean it that way, but you know what I mean. ;-)

A custody battle would be a nightmare. The whole DNA test scenario is disturbing enough. I'm thinking that if he's still in the picture, even after they reunite, once the baby is born he'll pressure the family to get the DNA tested, Jinja's Avengers or not.
That's why I liked my proposal to have the test done and it comes back as TK's baby and end the show RIGHT THERE. Then we ask ourselves: was it faked? Could he really be the dad? But it doesn't matter, as it's simply a big F-U to that clown.....Real will stay with TK/YD. Let the audience figure it out for themselves (plus, it sets us up for Season 2).

Usually I do the SJAF the second time around as I need to use the stopwatch and not pay as close attention to the show. So it'll be a few days, but you're right, this may be a record episode.

What's funny for me is that I still see the husband as the dad in Bravo My Life, and he was a pretty smart, fair and ethical guy there. This version of him leaves me shaking my head and I also thought, "OH POOP, they really are setting us up for him splitting them apart like BT said!!!!"
What will be interesting is to remember that although NX Group is fictional, Lynx Golf isn't. So there are limits to what the writers can do regarding how irresponsible the company is. This is the deal they made with the devil when they accept all this product placement.

It really WAS a mixed bag of an episode. I didn't even FF much as I didn't know what to expect next.

I had to pause watching it on Kocowa just now and cool down and come here when I heard that. Writers! How can you not have YD reply "The baby you twice wanted me to abort?" !!!!!

Ericka & BT & Clong: They blew the perfect opportunity when she confessed her feelings to him at the campground. Think about it: The woman you love admitted she loves you too....how are you not pulling her to you and kissing her???? HELLO????
I'm not sure what will trigger a kissing moment now? I'm afraid they won't get another chance before the axe comes down for them.

Thanks again. Mixed signals it is. I haven't even the desire to watch 25 in its entirety and now this.... getting ready with the FF button again, I guess. I'll watch both completely later in the week and get you the SJAFs then. But it sounds pretty high for this one. :-(

I guess they are still getting consistent ratings then?

they're looking for excuses to make her accept a split apart and not resist if this is forced upon her?

Is their lack of marriage registration a matter of public record? Can the Forces of Evil (DDD) find that and use it against them?

The youtube clips sent a lot of mixed signals for 26 and I'm getting the same feeling from reading this morning's comments.

Maybe it's a good thing this show is a weekender only. I don't know if I can take this 5 days/wk.

I wonder what the ratings were for Ep25? Up or down? By now, the production team must know about the negative feedback for SJ from the fans via social media, etc.

He has bigger plans for the chairman/company. No need to stir the pot yet.

Ep 25 brings us to the half-way point. Time for reflection? A calm before the impending storm? I'm not sure, but after 4 consecutive big episodes, this was definitely a step back. I'm not sure I'd call it a filler episode, because some notable things happened, just not to what we may have wanted to see in our Lead's relationship. Instead of Best Moments, let's go with...

MOST NOTABLE
- They didn't hug once. After a regular hugfest last weekend, we saw YD being cautious again and some strain in their relationship as their already-discussed lack of communications is muddying the waters for them. And this is really ironic since the last 2 weekends I lauded them for 'honesty' in dealing with each other.
- Sleeping separately again. So much for TK's vow to sleep with her going forward. That lasted one night, right?
- Where's Uncle? I think he got a tiny part in one scene?
- YM& DW declare a truce and make nice (fingers crossed for this couple)
- A lot of pharmacist scenes. This was the highpoint for me, I guess. They make a nice couple.

LEAST NOTABLE
- JH has no eyelashes on his right eye. (OK, I know, I just hate that guy).
- Indoor golf simulator? Really? No location filming available??? (I know, product placement)/ Plus, that whole scene was really awkward for me and uncomfortable.
- SeJin did look much more attractive (if that matters) with this more simple hairstyle/makeup.
- The poorly contrived scenario where Mr Jang 'leaves' the shipping receipt for SJ to find. That one had me rolling my eyes - nobody noticed it laying in the middle of the floor???? At least last week, when the pharmacist found the contract in her store, it was lying underneath a shelf.

Well, it seems in summary that TK is understandably feeling left out at YD spreads herself thin between Grandma & SJ. She doesn't understand his feelings, partly because her relationship with Grandma is now "professional" to her - Teacher/Pupil. And she needs to tell that to TK so he'll understand (he wouldn't want her interfering with a patient of his), especially since he knows Granny is illiterate so there's no secret to keep. Otherwise she'll keep feeling like he's interfering with her work.

And that's the problem with our characters in this episode. They' taken a big step back in expressing themselves to each other. And of course, we know what is inevitably coming and they are not ready at all.....

FWIW, it's funny, Ep 24 was difficult for me to watch as it was so emotional. This one wasn't much fun to watch too (did some FF'ing here, NGL). I'll watch it in depth in a couple days, I've been spoiled by love confessions the last 2 weekends and I'm greedy.
