It really WAS a mixed bag of an episode. I didn't even FF much as I didn't know what to expect next. I'm not even…
What's funny for me is that I still see the husband as the dad in Bravo My Life, and he was a pretty smart, fair and ethical guy there. This version of him leaves me shaking my head and I also thought, "OH POOP, they really are setting us up for him splitting them apart like BT said!!!!" What will be interesting is to remember that although NX Group is fictional, Lynx Golf isn't. So there are limits to what the writers can do regarding how irresponsible the company is. This is the deal they made with the devil when they accept all this product placement.
The baby should’ve mine. Unfortunately it is piece of 💩🤮
I had to pause watching it on Kocowa just now and cool down and come here when I heard that. Writers! How can you not have YD reply "The baby you twice wanted me to abort?" !!!!!
I feel this is gonna be more and more running under the motto “trainwreck watch” and not just because my korean…
Ericka & BT & Clong: They blew the perfect opportunity when she confessed her feelings to him at the campground. Think about it: The woman you love admitted she loves you too....how are you not pulling her to you and kissing her???? HELLO???? I'm not sure what will trigger a kissing moment now? I'm afraid they won't get another chance before the axe comes down for them.
I feel this is gonna be more and more running under the motto “trainwreck watch” and not just because my korean…
Thanks again. Mixed signals it is. I haven't even the desire to watch 25 in its entirety and now this.... getting ready with the FF button again, I guess. I'll watch both completely later in the week and get you the SJAFs then. But it sounds pretty high for this one. :-(
Maybe it's a good thing this show is a weekender only. I don't know if I can take this 5 days/wk.
I wonder what the ratings were for Ep25? Up or down? By now, the production team must know about the negative feedback for SJ from the fans via social media, etc.
Ep 25 brings us to the half-way point. Time for reflection? A calm before the impending storm? I'm not sure, but after 4 consecutive big episodes, this was definitely a step back. I'm not sure I'd call it a filler episode, because some notable things happened, just not to what we may have wanted to see in our Lead's relationship. Instead of Best Moments, let's go with...
MOST NOTABLE - They didn't hug once. After a regular hugfest last weekend, we saw YD being cautious again and some strain in their relationship as their already-discussed lack of communications is muddying the waters for them. And this is really ironic since the last 2 weekends I lauded them for 'honesty' in dealing with each other. - Sleeping separately again. So much for TK's vow to sleep with her going forward. That lasted one night, right? - Where's Uncle? I think he got a tiny part in one scene? - YM& DW declare a truce and make nice (fingers crossed for this couple) - A lot of pharmacist scenes. This was the highpoint for me, I guess. They make a nice couple.
LEAST NOTABLE - JH has no eyelashes on his right eye. (OK, I know, I just hate that guy). - Indoor golf simulator? Really? No location filming available??? (I know, product placement)/ Plus, that whole scene was really awkward for me and uncomfortable. - SeJin did look much more attractive (if that matters) with this more simple hairstyle/makeup. - The poorly contrived scenario where Mr Jang 'leaves' the shipping receipt for SJ to find. That one had me rolling my eyes - nobody noticed it laying in the middle of the floor???? At least last week, when the pharmacist found the contract in her store, it was lying underneath a shelf.
Well, it seems in summary that TK is understandably feeling left out at YD spreads herself thin between Grandma & SJ. She doesn't understand his feelings, partly because her relationship with Grandma is now "professional" to her - Teacher/Pupil. And she needs to tell that to TK so he'll understand (he wouldn't want her interfering with a patient of his), especially since he knows Granny is illiterate so there's no secret to keep. Otherwise she'll keep feeling like he's interfering with her work.
And that's the problem with our characters in this episode. They' taken a big step back in expressing themselves to each other. And of course, we know what is inevitably coming and they are not ready at all.....
FWIW, it's funny, Ep 24 was difficult for me to watch as it was so emotional. This one wasn't much fun to watch too (did some FF'ing here, NGL). I'll watch it in depth in a couple days, I've been spoiled by love confessions the last 2 weekends and I'm greedy.
- Someone posts on the company website that the child yd is carrying is not TK's (my money here is on manic mandy)-…
And here's what's been bugging me in the back of my mind, since we're sharing concerns: About 3 weeks ago, Sher posted this:

When Yeondu's baby "Real" is born, the entire family becomes "Childcare Avengers."
The term 'avengers' bugs me. This would indicate that Real may have been harmed/wronged and vengeance was needed. I'm hoping they may have meant to say Childcare warriors, or protectors, defenders, etc. I'm still rattled by the supposed scenario where she starts bleeding after being stressed out by the Chairman.

OK, let's relax for a sec. (I have not yet seen Ep 25, yard work this afternoon ran longer than expected).
I too have been concerned at times about the writer(s). But he hasn't truly let me down yet and seems to pull us out of whatever rut he gets them into. And I do like how he deliberately pokes fun at the worn out tropes found in k-dramas. So I still have faith in him/them (I really don't know how many are on the writing team and how much sway the head writer has). He's given us a pace that I've not seen in a weekender and has kept us going. Maybe Ep25 is a breather for a sec at the halfway point?
We know that IF he sticks to formula they will split apart and prolly soon. We have to be ready for that and enjoy the process that will bring them back together, stronger. I'd rather it wasn't JH/SJ that succeeds in splitting them up , but the beauty will be that they will get it in the end when TK/YD reunite stronger than ever (and I admit I'm talking best-case scenario). Less than 10 eps of this, please!!!
At this point (half-way thru) I'm pretty pleased with how things are going and compared to the previous series this is exponentially better. I do believe the writer(s) will not let us down and YLAG the rest of the series....YD/TK are too clearly drawn to let this happen.
Tonight KBS America will air Ep 23 in about an hour. I'll watch that and then do Ep25.
UGHHHH. I'm already dreading this and won't be able to watch for a few hours yet.
Today's YouTube clips didn't make much sense to me, your summary explains why so much HW/JM/Pharma lady. It sounds like we're back to the version of YD who thinks "I am out in 2 mos and my priority is to fix your household". sigh........It's like they have 2 different teams writing the show and each one has their take on the characters.
I have ranted about it several times myself and the F-you look that HR threw over her shoulder at JD. I don’t…
I went and saw the clip you were all referring to about the red dress. His actions were not consistent with someone who's been married and his age. I think his was a 'marriage of convenience' or as they said in THRC, 'a perfunctory marriage'. He was just there forher, and there was no intimacy, which would also explain why it was so easy for her to leave him, much less her own kid.

I think you're right. I wanted to mention it in my rant below, but wasn't sure it was an appropriate word here, hence my phrase 'would have to drag him to bed'. I can't think of what a sorry mess 2 clueless people like he & MR would make as a couple in that regard. They both need someone more 'experienced' first? Otherwise, it would be the blind leading the blind. This is why I don't mind him with HR for a while. He needs to get up to speed. (this is from a guy's perspective, BTW).

I'm not even sure what to say?
I'm not sure what will trigger a kissing moment now? I'm afraid they won't get another chance before the axe comes down for them.
Will they kiss before the breakup?
Is their lack of marriage registration a matter of public record? Can the Forces of Evil (DDD) find that and use it against them?
I want a Happy Episode!!!!
THAT is exactly it. They make a great team. And all that is being tossed aside.
Great point, thank you!
