With Ling Buyi , i think he used to live with his mom and uncle in the gu city (or the mom and pair pair were just visiting) . So someone massacred the entire the city . And the person responsible is yet to be found ? (I'm sure the king knows what happened and is hiding it from Ling Buyi )
The general he killed was also someone responsible for the death of people in gu city as he swapped the good weaponed with bad ones for money.

She just wanted to provoke CSS at that moment and take her along . Girl has been through hell and just showed her a bit of that he'll .
Only she and her younger brother survived and there's no one to protect them now . She has to protect her property from the greedy people and take care of her brother. And the only safe place for her now seems to be with Luo family . I actually feel very bad for her .

Its just a situation one should not be put through

I hate myself for this , but tbh i want this fool Zhuang xu to be with Xi guang .i may prefer him 0.0000001% more than Lin yu sen . This triangle is gonna hurt me so bad .
Lin yu sen is not just a good guy , he's more than that . Him and xi guang have a whole past history, to Xi guang it was just some passing memory in which he didnt even exist but to lin yu sen that affected his life so much .
Lin yu sen saw Xi guang at a family party . Xi guang was in a bad mood that day , cause her father had brought his first love's daughter to the family function ( this father guy betrayed his famiily , overly caring abt a first love when he has a wife and daughter) . So Xi guang was shouting at the first love's daughter. Lin yu sen takes interests in Xi guang .
After the party he tries to meet Xi guang . This one idiot guy gives the number of first love's daughter instead of Xi guang's . On the way to meet this girl , Lin yu sen gets into an accident . Lin yu sen was a doctor ,one of best , but after this accident he couldnt use his hands . then Lin yu sen waits for Xi guang to visit him in the hospital , but she never comes . Lin yu sen was hurt both mentally and physically . eventhen he doesnt hate xi guang or blame her for anything.
These things happened a few years ago , before zhuang xu and xi guang met .
then after a few years when lin yu sen gets to know that xi guang is working in their family company , he goes there as her supervisor . he was deeply hurt but boy just couldnt give up on her . xi guang falls in love with him . lin yu sen decides to not bring up the past , as it may only hurt her .
the truth comes out anyway . so by the end of book 1 , they are a very loving and healthy couple who knows how to communicate , nothing to seperate them . lin yu sen is such a gentleman.
i was very happy with it too .

this is why i think , the only way lin yu sen and xi gunag would no longer be together is when one dies.

As to zhuang xu he treated the fl badly , he has a inferiority complex too. xi guang's family is rich , zhuang xu is from a single parent house . i do think this guy is a bit more complex . if u see the novel comments majority of the people hate zhuang xu , he's so hatable . but i also think he never showed zhuang xu's side of the story . he may have his reasons too na .

when i saw that book2 wasnt out , and its been like 5 years or more since book1 came out , i just lost my will .

i was just saying an example , no one died, atleast no one died in book 1 .
there are three main characters .
Nie xi guang - female lead .
zhuang xu -male lead .
lin yu sen - male lead.

book 1
Nie xi guang had a huge crush on zhuang xu and confidently pursued him ,but had to give up on him cause zhuang xu already had someone, and that someone is her hostel mate .
Zhuang xu gave lots of mixed signals throughout those days . But he was not clear about it . And this guy has a inferiority complex .
By the end of college days we get to know Zhuang xu likes Xi guang too .

Then their college got over. their work life starts , she moved on , met mr lin and then fell in "love " with mr lin .

the end of book 1 ~
i absolutely love lin yu sen and love them together , if the story end there , i would be happiest person .

book 2- not yet released .

im not ready to explain more than this , only people who read the book would understand my heart .
if anything just hate on zhang xu , cause this guy is easy to hate .

I call them bothe leads ,cause I hate to take a side . Both are are "equally part of her life" . Imagine , you loved a guy so much like he's your forever and he loves you the same , and due to some event (death, or some unknown event), will that person disappear from your life . Will you call him a second lead . You won't . That's my emotion rn.
