Difference between good person and selfish person

Now it makes sense how i never came across those novels before its adaptations, cause i avoid those with toxic plots.

For the first time in my life, adaptation is better than the novel. I started to read novel cause i couldn’t wait but this novel just cant be its drama version. The characters 🤌. Chen yi and the way he cares and shows up. Never a rude comment. He protects that girl like the most precious thing hes got in his life. Drama is just perfect, novel has its own points. But drama just got what audience love perfectly. No cold behaviour, protective, no rude way of talking, gets shit done, eventho some may call him local thug hes not one. And him not having other relationship.
Miao jing is also perfect for me in drama. I like her.
Eventho the plot and overall vibes are same in both the drama and novel, Chen yi is the biggest factor that differs. Which is why i couldn’t go on with the novel. For the first time ever the novel is ruining my drama watching experience

all these new people around Chen yi think that they are something to him, something more than what Miao Jing is. They think they are so loyal and they protect their people. Like when they thought Tu li was being bullied by Miao Jing.

But people who are you all? Who do you think yall are in front of Miao Jing. He would leave evrything behind for that girl. For her better life. He would do everything for her better life including making his better.

if this doesnt say how much he loves and cares about her. Chen Yi lives by that - i can be tainted but not Miao Jing. Chen yi the hopeless romantic, he deserves all the love

Chen yi's lost puppy face is so adorable. And in the recent eps there are lots of that. Miao Jing be doing him like that

both of them liked each other at that point , fl did take the initiative.. but its mutual confession. like finally telling each other how much they want the other . this is in the past scenes

I like the drama Chen yi, that guy is the standard. The loml.

When it comes to the novel, they are two twisted individuals. They have gone through so much and have this unhealthy relationship. So mostly i have different standards for them.

Also Miao jing told that guy she just needed a fake boyfriend. She’s leading him on a lil but its not on her.

Tu li, yes i feel lil bad for her.

Also its just that i liked that scene. Sometime we like toxic things. Its fictional anyway

They went for movie with their partners, family movie.
Chen yi came out to smoke and she too came out later. He called her over and gave his cigarette. She doesn’t smoke but ig he teached her before. So she took a drag and then he took two. The cigarette butt ofc had her lipstick on it.
I find that hot and romantic, couple sharing a cigarette.

Well they are immortal so cant hold them with human standards. Its a forever and she decides to forgive him and he became a better person. Not a big fan but ig its okay for them.

Father really was wrong. He chose the country over his som. I think ml doesnt forgive him but understands him.

Well i didnt watch speed and love.If you are disturbed abt step siblings thing: their parents never married, he mostly stayed in school, they never saw each other as siblings.
And they are just natural when they are together.
Its nice to see them stand by each other through all the struggles and save each other.

I never felt any weird vibes with these two. No one is forcing anyone or taking advantage of the other

And they are only 2 years apart
