glad you wrote about this: " The male lead is a jerk beyond limits:" There was a Chinese drama, I forget which one, the male lead actually left FL out on the street without her purse or phone (it was in his car!) and she had to borrow a phone in a strange area at night to call a family member.
I don't think i've seen a show that started out so enjoyable and great for the first 20 episodes or so, and then…
at Ep 36 I'm disliking the plot turn. JM changed and the love triangle thing is more serious and I don't like it. Also I don't like how storyline for RY gets seriously negative. I'm going to keep watching a bit more but not marathoning it anymore. Hoping it redeems itself.
I'm up to ep 36 and now it feels depressing. Don't like the love triangle part. And the Empress is really extra awful. I was really enjoying the drama till now. Does it get better? Thinking about dropping it.
After reading the original history,i understand that romance in this kind of dramas looks really fake... because…
I'm up to ep 21 and haven't seen any romance. Just a selfish emperor who will boink anyone - anyone at all, even the worst of women. Usually Wallace Huo plays heroic types but here he's playing a flawed and weak man. I keep watching the same way you'd watch a fire or train wreck. It's awful but I can't look away.
OMG, I FINISHED! NOW WHAT! MY LIFE IS OVER!!! PLZ GIVE ME SOME RECOMMENDATION LIKE THIS ONE!!
have you seen The Journey? A little different but great fantasy and surprisingly good. I really loved it. Here's review https://kisskh.at/21024-the-journey
Ikr... I have Ruyi on my list, but it's too soon for me to try to jump into another heavy drama. I'm watching…
watching Ruyi and I'm like wait I've seen this before over and over, but the cast is beautiful and the production quality high. The emperor is weak and selfish. It's all about harem politics. The emperor seems to have no "day job" just gets carted around from concubine to concubine.
my favorite Chinese historical ever. And yes, each episode is equal to or surpasses the quality, writing, acting and entertainment you'd expect from the big screen. The drama takes you along a journey as the characters develop, also each episode gives a feeling of satisfaction at the end but keeps you wanting to see what happens next. It is one I won't forget, it stays with you.
this drama is a refreshing change. It reminds me of a fairy tale in a way. It's creative and takes you on a journey. I love the "uncle" who looks younger than his nephew. The characters are all very interesting. This is a breath of fresh air. Makes me laugh sometimes.
Her voice is beautiful!!! Unfortunately there aren't subs for Yanxi. Our only hope atm is to ask streaming siteshttps://vikiinc.wufoo.com/forms/title-request-form/https://help.netflix.com/en/titlerequesthttps://dramafever.typeform.com/to/vocj3m
Is it only me that feel like many scenes in the last ep was done 'funnily'? The acting of many characters when…
I couldn't feel any emotional investment for the main leads! And Wu Ji too much. I wanted more of the fantasy line shown in first 8 eps. The OTP romance was not convincing to me. Liked the secondary storylines better.
or CPR done completely wrong.
How about a Part 3????? Pretty please? this was fun!
