When I first saw the subject I thought of Heath Ledger.

oh like in historicals one jumps in front of the other to take an arrow instead of pushing the person out of the way.

or go to bed and room is bright as daylight. lights not turned off or even turned down.

yeh if they get a little wet, next thing they're in the hospital with an IV drip.

or when applying "first aid" the female (usually) dabs at the wound, with a q tip or other - it looks painful. And they don't clean the wound or gently apply ointment.
Or when a bandage is placed over the sleeve or pants leg.

or pull to side lane and stop in middle of it to argue or even get out of the car, like no one is going to run into them.

or shake the injured person and yell at them, cry etc. No one should shake an injured person.
or CPR done completely wrong.

love it. laughed a few times, I really identify. Especially Amnesia, the laziest of plot devices.

agreed. And I like her voice. So different from some Chinese dramas where the female lead sounds like her voice was dubbed by an 6 year old child.

There was a Chinese drama, I forget which one, the male lead actually left FL out on the street without her purse or phone (it was in his car!) and she had to borrow a phone in a strange area at night to call a family member.

would love to see this but would need eng subs. .....

Kdrama land is full of cute or handsome actors..... it's like gazing into an infinity pool of cuteness.

at Ep 36 I'm disliking the plot turn. JM changed and the love triangle thing is more serious and I don't like it. Also I don't like how storyline for RY gets seriously negative. I'm going to keep watching a bit more but not marathoning it anymore.
Hoping it redeems itself.

I'm up to ep 36 and now it feels depressing. Don't like the love triangle part. And the Empress is really extra awful. I was really enjoying the drama till now. Does it get better?

Usually Wallace Huo plays heroic types but here he's playing a flawed and weak man.
I keep watching the same way you'd watch a fire or train wreck. It's awful but I can't look away.

Dropped. Not one of Deng Lun's or Dilraba's best dramas. Love Deng Lun in Ashes of Love, this fits him so much better and is thoroughly enjoyable.

watching Ruyi and I'm like wait I've seen this before over and over, but the cast is beautiful and the production quality high. The emperor is weak and selfish. It's all about harem politics. The emperor seems to have no "day job" just gets carted around from concubine to concubine.
