one day, years ago I accidentally bumped into a Korean drama on Netflix. It was The Great Queen Seondeok. I was never the same. I seldom watch any American or English speaking TV, as most of it doesn't measure up to Asian dramas. After that, I started looking for more Korean dramas, then on to Taiwanese dramas, then Chinese, and even Thailand/Lakorns. These dramas are so different and tell a story, teach a lesson, and sometimes are just flat out fluff or fantasy, but they all transport you to a different place. For that, I and others thank you, the translators who bring so much joy to so many. Thank you so much.
We're coming to an end RAW-wise next week! Can't wait for the english subs on Youtube to slowly catch up and double…
oh no. Viki has license? That probably means that current subbing will stop and those of us watching it now (subbed up to ep 20) will be stuck for months at the minimum. I love Viki but didn't get to finish Cinderella Chef because of that reason. :(
Is this a romance? Cause I don't see how a robot could ever have emotions? I'm on episode 11 and I wanna prepare…
it is a romance too. I liked the ending - not sad. This drama was filmed before release, unlike most kdramas. "The 18-episode drama took two years to film at the cost of 2 billion won, or more than US$9.3 million. It is probably among the top 20 most expensively made K-dramas."
such a dynamic drama. I've rewatched it many times. Each time I'll see something I missed in other episodes. The production quality is very good, acting is amazing. the chemistry wow. Ken is riveting to watch. Ann is brilliant
What does it mean to be human? What is a living being? Can artificial intelligence evolve to thinking, creating, having feelings? If so, does that being have rights?
What does it mean to be human? What is a living being? Can artificial intelligence evolve to thinking, creating, having feelings? If so, does that being have rights? That is the question this drama seeks to answer. It is an idea presented by writers such as Isaac Asimov in the 50s and is a question we need to consider for the future. AI is evolving, and will we make slaves of the AI or will we co-exist? Will AI have rights?
This guy playing Wuji, I saw him in that movie Monga and I remember him doing great. But in this drama, I don't…
I felt he was overacting. Too much of the sly smile wink wink looks.
I like all of the actors in the drama, have seen many of them in other really good dramas. This drama has all the components but when combined together something is missing. I'm still watching but I'm not drawn in, there's no excitement in it for me.
Such a high score for such a regular rom-com drama. It's far from bad and it's quite enjoyable but it's just a…
he seems to be type cast into pretty boy roles. I liked his more serious character in Kill Me Heal Me. I liked him in Hwarang even if it wasn't totally serious. He should do more serious stuff. He can act, and is wasted in cliche rom coms.
hmmm... maybe that's why I didn't finish it. I got tired of the drama and dropped it. It was a real waste of Park Seo Joon's talents . I'd reallllly like to see him in something more serious. Yes he has a pretty face but he can act, he can draw you in and he deserves bette than to be just a "candy" or chaebol character.
At first I really wanted to try this until I knew harem was included and also there’s so many bad comments and…
I'm watching it and it's really enjoyable. No fast forwarding, no blah blah. Creative and fun. I will drop something if it is boring or cliche and I dislike triangles. I really like all of the characters.
I really wanted to love this drama! I love yangmi mi in Peach Blossom and Jade Palace but there was something…
I couldn't feel anything for the OTP, even though I like both actors. It felt very flat. Usually in a drama I can find at least one of the OTP to have a charisma or feels, but it just wasn't there. Least chemistry of an OTP I think I've ever seen.
First 8 -10 episodes very creative and engaging. After that focus was on main pair. The drama became two dimensional, very beautiful set & costumes, but the more the focus was on the main pair, the more it felt flat. Somehow it didn't make me care about Fu Yao or Zhang Sun Wu Ji, they felt like cardboard cutouts. And I do like the actors. The characters that I could care about were the Uncle from early eps, "Seven" (Fu Yao's adopted brother) Zhan Bei Ye (Gao Vengo) and the Doctor. I also felt that the evil princess was able to trigger emotion although perhaps she was a bit too much, like a mustache twirling villian type, a bit over the top but maybe necessary. And her uncle, what a great actor. I'm at episode 17 now, and likely will finish, but something is missing from this drama preventing it from being truly great. Oh and I fell asleep during Ep 16.

they are a nice option in addition to the reviews and comments.
