If you need a reason to watch, Weir is shirtless majority of the lakorn.
LOL, that too!

My 4th time watching this and still loving it! ????
your comment gave me the push I needed to watch this. I'm up to ep 5 today and it really is great!

Ken is deliciously evil so far. When he's on screen, it's hard to look anywhere else. Also, mad props to Thippy…
"Ken is deliciously evil so far" . Well you made up my mind for me, I'm watching it.

I am definitely an Emotional reviewer. I need all my feelings to be put out there so I can fully get over a show…
will check out your channel. I used to watch drama reviews on YT but many were spoiler laden and ruined the dramas for me so I gave up. I like video format because I get tired of reading!

I'm a member of the "spoiler police". If an article is a spoiler, or contains spoilers, as long as it is marked in the title SPOILER ALERT then I think that is enough warning .

Also, I really LOVE the reviews at MDL, I read them to learn about new dramas to possibly queue up or sometimes skip.

I would like to give a big Thank You to reviewers, it takes guts and also hard work to write and put up for all to see, and for sometimes to be criticized. I hope people will give newbie reviewers encouragement. Some reviewers even say, this is my first review, which lets you know they worry that they're doing a good "job". Reviews are a real gift to MDL readers.

I think it's ok to criticize a drama, that won't necessarily stop me from watching it depending on the criticism. I watch some trash dramas sometimes.

Sometimes I think people don't realize what elements belong in a review and accidentally spoil it when their intentions were good. Like someone else here said, a review shouldn't be a wikipedia article.

Thanks again.

Just finished it. I marathoned it. One of the best Thai dramas I've seen, as far as plot/acting/production quality. I loved every minute. It was different from anything I've seen, and my gosh Pong has gotten way more handsome.

Person Chen Yi Long
He makes a really good bad boy! Looking forward to more dramas with him in them.

Mo Nan made me cry more than once :)
I loved Mo Nan and wish his plot line had gone differently. He's a very attractive bad/good guy. And good acting. Maybe he'll be in some more dramas later.

I enjoyed this show up until the whole 'revenge plot' started to really show it's ugly face +20eps in, after that…
thank you your post expresses what has been bugging me. I can't finish the drama - waste of the actors, loved them not the plot or writing.

There is a "recap" category that articles can be filed under when you submit them, but I considered this to fit…
I'll be sure to save this for later. I've anticipated this drama so much I'm actually waiting till all eps are available, going to marathon it.
So thanks for your hard work.

Glad you gave spoiler warning. I won't be reading this.
→ Maybe MDL needs to call some articles "Recaps" so that folks know - this is going to tell you what happens.
As opposed to reviews that tell you why you want to watch a drama, without spoiling it.

If you want it subbed I think it’s in dailymotion but if you want it raw it on ch3 YouTube.
it sounds like they used their phone to record from it playing elsewhere or something, doesn't it?

and a "friendly pointer" for your critique: Instead of "lacks some substance" a positive criticism or better yet…
I don't usually write that way but decided to mirror your words to you.
When someone takes the trouble to write an article for MDL, it is for our benefit. That person had to put time and energy plus work up the courage to do this. They deserve our appreciation and encouragement.
I think the critics should write articles and show us how they should be done.

Overall, it's a nice article, but it doesn't really dive into the reasons. In short, it lacks some substance.…
and a "friendly pointer" for your critique: Instead of "lacks some substance" a positive criticism or better yet not criticism would be to say "needs fleshed out more."
kkdrama Jul 29, 2018
Good topic. I do find kdramas inspiring. I've always identified with the underdog and I think that is a common theme in many of these dramas.
Also, I find kdramas creative, refreshing and interesting - unlike US TV, kdramas are more modest and way less graphic. Usually there are real relationships built before there is intimacy and the intimacy will only be hinted at.
Most Kdramas tell a story and maybe even teach a lesson, and while there are many fluff dramas, they are entertaining too, a mental break.
Even better, a Kdrama comedy will make you both laugh and cry, that's pretty cool.

I almost never watch US tv now.

Why have they stopped the subtleties for this drama at episode 8?
usually I won't start a Chinese drama till I see that every episode has been subbed.
Too many I never got to finish.

This drama is a gold pure classic, Goblin can't beat it, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo can't beat it, Kill Me,…
I loved the looks on their faces when they realized they were in the other's body. Priceless.
I've re-watched this drama many many times.
