Title Sweet Dreams Spoiler
This is just terrible or is not made to cater the western senses.... obsession is not sexy or hot its cray. therapy…
I really disliked how Bo Hai dumped Ling Ling Qi out of his car knowing full well she didn't have a phone or her purse. It was ugly, dangerous and stupid. I would never have forgiven someone for doing that to me or anyone I care about.

The high pitched baby voices are tacky and not all Chinese dramas use such stupid devices.
I think the writing or producing was the problem. Such a waste of good acting and maybe a good story (without the dumbness)

Title Sweet Dreams Spoiler
As much as I like it, the revenge plot is just too dumb. they weren't really thinking about it being reasonable…
I couldn't take it (the revenge plot, the squeeky voices, the dumbness etc) anymore. Someone as smart as Mo Nan doing revenge (on wrong person) just got on my nerves. Such wasted potential of so many promising actors. :(

Title Sweet Dreams
I love all the actors but don't think I can finish this. The revenge plot seems just dumb.
The writers should have put in more effort when given such good resources.
I liked parts of it and the premise was a good idea.

I like Chen Yi Long who plays Mo Nan and hope to see him in more dramas.

What does it mean to be human in the digital age?
A day may come where beings with artificial intelligence have emotions and their own unique thoughts. This has been pondered by the likes of Isaac Asimov as early as 1950.
Will they be granted rights?

VERY well written article which is funny I wrote something like this in my article of unpopular kdrama opinions…
I loved your article because I'm an "outlier" but also sometimes try to understand others who dislike or like something I do or don't.

Also, I think many folks don't realize they are spoiling a drama when they write a review. If you don't think hard, it's easy to do. :(
Mokona Jul 25, 2018
I enjoy the reviews, even when I disagree.
I always hate spoilers.
The main reason I come to this site is to find new stuff to watch, not have someone tell me what happens, ruining it for me.

don't know if you can address or if it should be in the article, but here's questions:1) is the drama based on…
maybe because this is more recent history, the comfort women issue and more.

If anyone finds subs for this, please send me a private message. JL Subbing is not doing it.
I've looked at all other subbing sites, nothing.
Replying to The White Truck of Doom Jul 24, 2018
If not too much trouble, would you message me link to JL Subbing Team? I know most of the other lakorn subbing…
so bad news. JL Subbing took down most videos and has temporarily stopped subbing because another group started stealing it's subs, claimed them as their own, and even tried to get JL Subbing taken down.

I love this drama so so so much...not for the story but their acting, chemistry, comic sense as well as background…
true. I love their chemistry, he's handsome but she's pretty and delicate, they look good together and their interactions make sense.
I'd love to see him in something serious though, aside from rom coms.

thanks. There is a great comment from someone in Korea at the link, so heart-felt on why they wanted this drama to portray history accurately..

Is it me, or is it anti-Korean drama? Japan is threatening and powerful, America is rightful and honorable, and…
I was wondering that too, and why? Because it's on Netflix.
If you look at some of Netflix's documentaries and movies, many of them have an agenda to down grade a foreign country as needing the US to make it good/free etc.

Not all, but some. basically they are pro war pro intervention, and the US is always the good guy.

We still have a long way to go as we've just reached the quarter point of this drama, but I'm in the process of…
don't know if you can address or if it should be in the article, but here's questions:
1) is the drama based on real life story,
2) is drama historically accurate, and
3) is it propaganda (slanted)?

These might not be something MDLers are interested but maybe a sentence or two if you get info on that, would be nice.

I would love to watch another Chinese drama but I really hate crappy endings and also dramas that lose their momentum…
I thought the ending was ok. It wasn't bad, per se.

i'm guessing i shouldn't start watching this?
I watched the whole thing. I loved parts and certain characters.
I think Johnny Huang is gorgeous. But I was underwhelmed by Victoria Song.
I really loved the secondary plot about Pipi's best friend and the 2 handsome fox guys.
Because of that side story, it was worth watching.

Lol goblin wasn’t shit to me either. So many cliches, stale romance, flashback galore, etc. the cinematography…
I actually loved Goblin, which so many people have said was boring or they just didn't like it. I liked it for many reasons too.

This is not so much a comment on the content as the format of this article: I would've preferred to see this split…
to me the format felt conversational. I was ok with it. It talked about things I was interested in but the main point of the article is there is no right or wrong in liking or disliking dramas and having diff opinion from others.
But as far as format, I look forward to seeing your articles up here, the more the merrier.

Come and Hug Me is great if you take out all the scenes that involve the lead couple. I LOVE all the Boys Over…
Lol that's how I felt about "The Love Knot: His Excellency’s First Love"
well, if you took out Victoria Song, keep Johnny Huang, and I loved the best friend with the 2 fox guys.
So there's no right or wrong. Haven't gotten very far through C&HM, so I'm forwarned.
