There's nothing new except the actors. This is mostly about the harem, it's pecking order, constant scheming from various sides, and sadistic treatment of the underdog. It's pretty predictable.
The emperor seems to do nothing all day but either lay around being waited on or entertained by various competing concubines, or he's riding his sedan for nightly boinking. There's no kingdom to rule at least not so far.
There's a great cast, love the female lead, the set and costumes are great but for me that makes it all the more disappointing since all these great resources are used for what seems to be a boiler plate harem drama. :( I wanted it to be more.
Don't watch this drama for romance because the most you can get out of it is probably like 3 hugs
there was a lot of sensuality in ep 2. the chemistry starts at a slow burn and smolders throughout the drama. I'm up to ep 24 so far, this is one of my favorite dramas this year.
This could have been condensedKO and Mr. Beauty needed more screen timeFL is hella skinny and her kissing was…
yeh. pretty scary even her thighs were as skinny as a person's arm should be. She didn't look healthy. Wonder if she got anorexia? When she was in The Cage of Love - she appeared heavy set.
one day, years ago I accidentally bumped into a Korean drama on Netflix. It was The Great Queen Seondeok. I was never the same. I seldom watch any American or English speaking TV, as most of it doesn't measure up to Asian dramas. After that, I started looking for more Korean dramas, then on to Taiwanese dramas, then Chinese, and even Thailand/Lakorns. These dramas are so different and tell a story, teach a lesson, and sometimes are just flat out fluff or fantasy, but they all transport you to a different place. For that, I and others thank you, the translators who bring so much joy to so many. Thank you so much.
We're coming to an end RAW-wise next week! Can't wait for the english subs on Youtube to slowly catch up and double…
oh no. Viki has license? That probably means that current subbing will stop and those of us watching it now (subbed up to ep 20) will be stuck for months at the minimum. I love Viki but didn't get to finish Cinderella Chef because of that reason. :(
Is this a romance? Cause I don't see how a robot could ever have emotions? I'm on episode 11 and I wanna prepare…
it is a romance too. I liked the ending - not sad. This drama was filmed before release, unlike most kdramas. "The 18-episode drama took two years to film at the cost of 2 billion won, or more than US$9.3 million. It is probably among the top 20 most expensively made K-dramas."
such a dynamic drama. I've rewatched it many times. Each time I'll see something I missed in other episodes. The production quality is very good, acting is amazing. the chemistry wow. Ken is riveting to watch. Ann is brilliant

If so do you mind sending me a pm with them?
I'm on Ep24 now and stuck as no more subs at yt
And is Hwang Jung Eum his work wife? Not that it matters.
