Wow! Shawn Dou's acting, his character - brought out such intense feeling. I watched this drama months ago but it still sticks in my memory and heart. Amazing.
hilarious, beautiful. And William Feng is a natural in the role of the monk - which is not all that serious. Aaron Kwok hilarious and fun as the Monkey King. Really enjoying, on Netflix US now.
It's fantasy. Based on myths. It is fun, the lead male IS pompous and it's funny. It is different from other dramas. I really enjoyed this drama. If you're on the fence, then just watch a few episodes, decide for yourself.
I agree with all of these. Number one annoys me so much, that was the reason I couldn't finish Love O2O. It is…
r/e 020. A shame she acted like a wooden board. I felt the male lead was already having to work too hard. The spitting blood cliche - so frequent in Chinese historical or fantasy that now it even makes me laugh because it happens so much.
Give it a try. crackling chemistry between the leads, but I felt that it got repetitious. The actors are all good looking, there's some interesting bad guys, some familiar actors, but one thing that got old for me was the lead female acted very vain. She was like "I know I'm great/beautiful etc" matched with a constant smirk. Would have been better with maybe 10 less episodes. Still give it a try, other people seem to like it. I dropped it 2/3 through.
If you aren't sure if you should watch it, give it a try. The storyline is a bit different, and the female lead is independent, quirky, funny. The writers made her cry a little too much, but I just fast forwarded on that. It wasn't alot but was too much. ˙ǝlqɐǝʞᴉl ǝlʇʇᴉl ɐ ʇsɐǝl ʇɐ ǝɹǝʍ ʎǝɥʇ ɟᴉ ɹǝʇʇǝq ǝq plnoʍ ʇᴉ 'sǝloɹ ǝʌᴉʇɐƃǝu pǝʎɐld ɥʇoq ʎǝɥʇ ɥƃnoɥʇ uǝʌƎ ˙ƃunʎW ʞooS ssǝɔuᴉɹԀ puɐ oS ᴉſ ɹǝɥʇoW uǝǝnQ ǝɥʇ ɹoɟ ƃuᴉʇɔɐ ǝɥʇ ǝʞᴉl ʇou pᴉp I
I stopped in the middle of Cinderella and Four Knights. it was not bad but it did run out of gas all of a sudden. And I got tired of her face lol sorry. At first she was cute bit it got annoying.
*Update: I'm up to ep 11 now, this is WAY better than the first Bad Guys. This one is serious, very intense, drama all the way. Intense is the word. I started off watching for actor Kim Mu Yeol - he's perfect for intense roles. Last time he was in a drama was 2015, in "My Beautiful Bride". Loved him in movie "War of Arrows", one of my favorite Korean movies, re-watched half a dozen times at least. PS, the OSTs are beautiful.
