I've watched this first season so fast, now I'm rushing to watch the second! At first I thought people here were…
Yes, your vibes were proven right. Si Yin always had a selfish "love" for Ye Yin. And I feel that rather than protect and love her, he confined and controlled her, using his position of her "master' or teacher to keep her from making her own choices. Ya Long just loved her, for herself.
found it (both seasons) over at DailyMotion. Just finished it. This is the quirkiest drama I've ever watched, and very addicting. Eyerything worked. It was quite different, so I didn't know what to expect. I got on team Ya Long quickly. I was never a fan of Ma Ke till now, he rocks the white hair beautiful man/vampire role. I watched the entire drama in 4 days. Sometimes it would be deliberately corny, but later on there were actually times I cried. There was some overacting reminiscent of old time vampire movies, and other times serious acting. There were different kinds of "love" expressed in the drama, true love and selfish love. Highly recommend this drama!
Sometimes.... Uee's character is weird. Anyway I am still going strong - the dramas hasn't bored me yet.
Yeh. There are times when she yells - in a way that is totally not normal. Perhaps the director makes her do that? It sounds so forced or just cringeworthy. But overall, enjoying the drama.
Many "run out of gas" or lose their fizz at some point, but I feel that Yellow Boots (also called Ice Adonis) held up to the end. With only a little bit of veering off to ridiculous. 108 episodes but totally worth it. https://kisskh.at/3689-yellow-boots
If you get through the first episode and meet Ya Long, you'll get hooked like I did! I loved every minute. Such…
thanks. This drama is fun. You are right about Ep 1. I couldn't get through it, so I skipped up to last 15 min of Ep 1 and then the drama started flying! This drama is marathon worthy. I found it subbed at dailymotion
UGH. There ought to be a ban on drama descriptions that provide the ending. Really. And the first review ought to be removed because it needs spoiler/blocks. My Drama List shouldn't be My Spoiler List.
Role swapping, funny, beautiful, dazzling scenery, the costumes! the gorgeous actors, good acting. I marathoned through to Ep 25 till the subs stopped. I got a crush on the military advisor "Fox". He definitely needs to be in more dramas! → The subber was doing on her own and depended on donations, imagine the work she put into it. Her subbing was great, she added a bit of "flavor" to the subs. → It has been licensed by Viki and should start before end of April 2018.
I'm watching it and love it. There's real chemistry with Woo Do Hwan and Joy. The parents in the drama are really…
Agreed. The acting is good but the writing is weak in places. I fast forward when they dwell on mundane daily activities and also when the disfunctional parents are on. I can't take my eyes off of Woo Do Hwan. Joy's character is so so. I get that she's like her Dad in being this way but ugh.
Tae Hee must be the most pathetic woman in all series I saw, he humilliates her in front of his friends, he ignores…
did you notice that Tae Hee's behavior mimics that of her father? As far as being a pushover for the one he loves. I agree it indicates low self esteem but perhaps it is also mimicking realism.
I haven't watched the drama yet, (cus it seems like the characters are the most annoying type to watch) but just…
I'm watching it and love it. There's real chemistry with Woo Do Hwan and Joy. The parents in the drama are really the disfunctional ones, the kids are reacting to that. I find myself marathoning it. I fast forward some of the parts with the parents but maybe because I've been watching kdramas for years now and can predict some of the parts. But Woo Do Hwan and Joy - can't predict. It's not perfect but it's pretty good.

Is it Kang Suk Jung who was in Yellow Boots/Ice Adonis?
I've searched everywhere but don't find update for his works past 2014
