I was planning to watch it as well but since I’ve watched and loved the original show I’m still not sure about…
It is amazing and I'll never think of elevators the same again.

Title Siege in Fog
what exactly is that about? the title doesn't reach out to me, but Elvis Han does...
description at link, but basically he's immortal - doesn't know what he is, meets a mortal woman... poses as a monster killer (since he can find them and kill them), and it is mixture of funny, drama, sad, and an adventure.
I think you'll know if you're going to like it from the first episode.
There's no filler or crap, no weak acting, it's all good. There's an instance of campy CGI but it's ok.

I started watching it for Elvis but it is pretty good.
If you haven't seen it, be sure to see Wu Xin: The Monster Killer. That's a really original drama - no fast forwarding needed, and Elvis is great in that.

It was set during the Warlord Era in China (1916 to 1928) before the unification of China under Kuomintang. But…
your commentary really helps explain the drama. Thank you!

this drama is super entertaining. It is one that you won't forget.
It has everything in it - is fun yet can make you cry, can make you laugh or get mad.
Other dramas may fade out of your memory, but this one won't. Instead, you'll wish there was more.

could you mark your comment as a spoiler?
Reason? Second to last sentence you give away a major plot line.

This was decent, but I just don't understand why chinese wuxia always have very miserable and ill-fated main characters.
I was going to watch this drama but you spoiled it. UGH!

Title The Journey Spoiler
I've watched this first season so fast, now I'm rushing to watch the second! At first I thought people here were…
Yes, your vibes were proven right. Si Yin always had a selfish "love" for Ye Yin.
And I feel that rather than protect and love her, he confined and controlled her, using his position of her "master' or teacher to keep her from making her own choices.
Ya Long just loved her, for herself.

found it (both seasons) over at DailyMotion. Just finished it. This is the quirkiest drama I've ever watched, and very addicting. Eyerything worked. It was quite different, so I didn't know what to expect.
I got on team Ya Long quickly. I was never a fan of Ma Ke till now, he rocks the white hair beautiful man/vampire role.
I watched the entire drama in 4 days. Sometimes it would be deliberately corny, but later on there were actually times I cried. There was some overacting reminiscent of old time vampire movies, and other times serious acting.
There were different kinds of "love" expressed in the drama, true love and selfish love.
Highly recommend this drama!

Sometimes.... Uee's character is weird. Anyway I am still going strong - the dramas hasn't bored me yet.
Yeh. There are times when she yells - in a way that is totally not normal.
Perhaps the director makes her do that? It sounds so forced or just cringeworthy.
But overall, enjoying the drama.

thanks. This drama is fun. You are right about Ep 1. I couldn't get through it, so I skipped up to last 15 min of Ep 1 and then the drama started flying!
This drama is marathon worthy. I found it subbed at dailymotion

It's supposed to be available on Netflix in the US but I can't find it anywhere in the listings. Link from internet doesn't work either. Any advice?

UGH. There ought to be a ban on drama descriptions that provide the ending. Really.
And the first review ought to be removed because it needs spoiler/blocks.
My Drama List shouldn't be My Spoiler List.
