I dropped The General and I at the middle point. It really seemed like it should end there. Plus, i was exhausted by all the machinations, it really felt like we deserved resolution after all the extreme intensity to that point.
what is the hereditary disease? And why does she want to hurry and have children if she's sick? As a doctor, it would seem like she'd want to prevent passing on the disease. ??? The actors and actresses are gorgeous but this storyline?
This drama has a great cast but there's something missing in it. I can't put my finger on it. I just couldn't get absorbed into the drama. Without William Chen and Li Xian starring in it, it probably would only get a 7 rating at best. Yes, I can see watching it just for the eye candy. But I dropped it after Ep 10. Just couldn't push myself forward. It had such potential, just something was missing. Does anyone else sense that too?
Really? you guys love this? omg. I cant count how many times i say 'stupid!!!' every ep while watching…
I felt that the key flaw to this drama was the female lead character. I just find it hard to believe a mother would be so neglectful and till be called a caring parent by other. I think her character screwed up majorly. The rest of the drama was intense, maybe too creepy, but I did love the lead guy's part. I feel that whoever wrote the female leads part - couldn't be a mother or parent.
I loved it. For me, this is a drama that I won't forget. It stays with me. I downloaded many of the OSTs, and they remind me of the emotions the story brought out. → The plot was refreshing. It was hard to tell who was really bad. Not everything was black and white and some people were a mix. I never knew what to expect, which is nice. Loved the acting, the filmography, everything. → I saw the Season 1 and liked it but I liked this Season better. I think it was grittier and more dramatic. I love love the OSTs. You can find them on youtube.
Sheng Peter - He's a lovely guy in real life; completely and utterly besotted with his wife and child; just a…
Have you seen him in Oh My General? He's young, give him time. IMHO he's doing great in OMG. He seems drawn to quirky stuff, but then you know you're not seeing the same ole stuff.
This drama is SO terrible. I can't believe the ratings. It's confusingly written, the best parts of the drama…
I finally dropped it at Ep 27. The female lead acts arrogant but kept doing stupid things constantly which created most of the drama. Without her doing dumb things the drama would probably be 16 episodes. Shame cause I'm a big Elvis fan. If you don't mind one character (the female lead) repeatedly doing dumb things then other than that it's ok. I got to the point of cringing at her next stupid thing. :( I'm enjoying watching Elvis in Secrets of 3 Kingdoms, no stupid females there.
If you are looking for the combination of time travel+ romance+ comedy , I recommend you to watch 1) My only love…
Loved The Journey 1 and 2. Still love it, wasn't a fan of Ma Ke but now I am. Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat - I'm watching now, up to ep 11 and boy that's the best if not 1 of best Lakorns I've ever watched.
Why is the male lead always generic looking same hairstyle same job? sigh
It's a waste. Cause the actor Jiang Chao is way more suited for bad boy roles. You should see him kick it in Ice Fantasy as the Crown Prince Xin Jue of Fire. He's quite devilish. He's been in a lot more "candy" roles lately, which is a shame.
He's got a lot of charisma. In Oh My General he plays the military strategist for the family of General Ye Zhao (Sandra Ma). Zhao calls him "Fox" and he has a one sided love for her character but doesn't get obnoxious about it. Hope to see him in more dramas.
Plus, i was exhausted by all the machinations, it really felt like we deserved resolution after all the extreme intensity to that point.
Thx!

with a total of 13 episodes. So it will finish sometime in August.

This should be good. The visuals are gorgeous.
