overall i give it an 8ish. Could have been a 10 if the writing was better. Woo Do Hwan has so much charisma, and Joy was ok. I drop a lot of dramas but I liked this one enough to finish. The actors made you feel - whether it was anger, happiness, surprise, disappointment, sadness. I like Woo Do Hwan and would like to see him in dramas that are better written and original like "Save Me". He's too amazing to just be a "Candy".
So this lakorn got a remake every 10 years, wonder if a remake of this coming :)) I'd put my vote on Dome & Davika.-Bella-Pancake,…
It would be interesting to see. I wonder if anyone can surpass Ken and Janie's acting in this. My gosh I rewatched it like 8 times, each time noticed something different. Like Ken looking out from upstairs window at "Rin". His jealous scowl. So real. Such raw emotion.
Could someone tell me why the ratings for this drama dropped so much?
probably they're mad because the subs stopped mid way and now it's hurry up and wait and hope Viki does them, and that will take a lonnnngggg time. The drama gets better and better as it goes.
Who is Fox? Wish MDL would add cast member Ding Chuan who plays Hu Qing, aka "Fox" to the credits. "Ding Chuan as Hu Qing is the military strategist of the Ye Family Army who has always harbored deep feelings for the general in spite of thinking that she is a man. He realizes the truth eventually yet she is already betrothed to another. " http://www.dramapanda.com/2017/01/character-posters-for-oh-my-general.html
This is a quirky and fun drama with "feels". The acting is good, there's some drama and intrigue and of course the adventure that is time travel. The female gets transported into ancient China and decides to treat it as a free vacation. She gets kidnapped and it still is fun. The male lead is oh-my-gosh handsome. Whoa. I'm up to episode 12, that's all that is subbed for now and really hope it continues to be subbed. (I'm still mad that I watched so much of Princess Jieyou only to get stuck halfway as subbing stopped and no one would pick it up)
I am so annoyed. Yao Yao is very clever but why do the writers make her so stupid sometimes.
Yeh,. What is it with Asian dramas that most (not all) insist on making a perfectly great female lead do something stupid! Ugh. Overall she is cute, funny and fun and clever. So why why why?
This is good, and gets better every episode. All of the characters are interesting and belong, and get you involved. It is amazing in every way. No irritating stupid things, people's actions make sense, even the evil ones. You'll want to know what happens next but it's a good ride!
I'm up to about ep 20. I do not like the way the female lead Qin Sang is written. This drama has much promise but the writing - Qin Sang is pretty and not dumb but she creates unnecessary drama. While the drama might have been shorter if she made smarter decisions, it would have been better. I'm still watching but cringing at some points.
Gavin Gao Yunxiang was recently arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at Shangri-la Hotel in Sydney. He was denied bail. His studio says the charges are untrue.
good one! I like old school dramas but since I've watched so many, I've branched out to a third category - fantasy dramas. That takes me over into C-Drama land, the home of many Wuxia dramas. The fantasy style dramas can be inventive and entertaining. They don't always repeat the same formula. I like not knowing what happens next.
would love to see Park Seo Joon in serious roles, not candy type. He's so darn "pretty" that I think directors overlook his ability to kill it on serious parts. Hope this drama matches his ability.
I love Bie and Esther, both great actors, but oh my gosh, Taya (second lead fake priest), played by actor Tre Porapat Srikajorn - he's my new Thai bias. And he can act.
the female "lead" Kim Yoo Jung is famous as a wide-eyed innocent looking child actor who could cry really well. That's still basically all she can do. Park Bo Gum carried the show as much as possible - and admirably so, but it would have been great if he'd been paired with a better actress.
This is an unforgettable drama. It also is Woo Do-hwan's break out show. He stole every scene he was in, he was perfect in this. I don't usually like ̶ ̶W̶o̶o̶ ̶D̶o̶ ̶H̶w̶a̶n̶ Seo Ye Ji but she was made for the part of Sang-Mi. The OSTs are great too.

Hope we get more articles like this.

Also, she was 17? but came across as much younger. She has not evolved as an actress at all.
