I read that fans who are familiar with the novel according to which LBFAD was made were praising Esther for her dubbing. They said it was exactly the voice that Xiao Lanhua was supposed to have.
It is the same with Yue Qi - try to watch some videos from the original game on youtube - you will hear Yue Qi there has exactly the same voice as how Esther dubbed Yue Qi in a drama.
All that complains and hate Esther gets for her voice are just because the people who criticize her know nothing about the character she is portreying (and dubbing). She is doing great job and is praised by directors for her dubbing (she is also voice actress).

That’s not exactly true, her real voice is a bit deeper, but so far she played characters that are all supposed to use “cute” voice (except My journey to you, where she uses different, matured voice). It seems a lot of chinese novels have female characters with cute, high-pitched childish voice, it is probably favourite kind of female voice there, so the drama characters often use it as well, following the novel.

What you really need is to find some more information about drama and characters. It is even very easy with this one. It is based on a game. You can easily find some videos from this game on youtube. And there you will find Esther’s voice as Yue Qi is exactly the same as Yue Qi in the game. Then you can see she did very good job dubbing her character. And that your comment is kind of stupid.
I really hate how people who know nothing about the character still try to criticize how the actor/actress portrey it. FIND SOME INFO FIRST!! It is not that hard.
Esther is also voice actress, praised for her dubbing. Do you really think they would praise her and let her dubb all her characters if her voice wouldn’t be accurate??
If you hate voice of Yue Qi, just go and watch another drama (and inform yourself about the original novel first, to avoid disappointment, because a lot of characters in chinese novels use high-pitched cute voice and so the actresses in drama will use it as well).

I watched some videos of the original game (according to which this drama was made) and Esther’s character in the game has even more as you say “annoying” voice than Esther in the drama. Very high-pitched one. So Esther is doing great job with her voice, she sounds exactly how she is supposed to. If you don’t like it, this drama is probably not for you (as well as you would be probably annoyed watching the game).

And Esther’s character is now over 7 milions. Seems like fans of both are really excited! So I hope the drama will air soon and will be succesfull.
I even read Tencent posted offer for a fast track of the ending from the 5th of February, although there is no official airing date (o:

As far as I know, Esther is not supposed to be at fashion week. It is not in her schedule for January. But there is also nothing for tomorrow in her schedule, so I doubt they will have photoshoot together.
But as I watch XuKai’s schedule, it doesn’t seem they will promote CP6.. There was rumor for H!6 recording, but it was obviously false. He is recording H!6 on 31th of January, but it is for his modern drama. So it seems like there will be no promotion of CP6 or they will air it like in more than 1 month to have some time for promotion (but Esther starts shooting new drama in February, so she will be busy then /o: )

And now she got over 5 milions. And still nothing from Tencent /o:

But is it really broadcasting of the drama or just promotional lifestream of actors? I saw it on X and it was not clear. There was “lifestream from 17:00 to 18:00” but nothing about drama itself..

I don’t belive it will air tomorrow /o: Although Esther’s last drama was airborne, they aired it suddenly out of nowhere and without promotion (and it still did very well), I doub’t Tencent would do this with this drama. It seems like one of bigger Tencent projects so it would be weird to air it suddenly without promotion..
Some time ago there was a rumour they will air it during some chinese vacation (I guess it was sometimes during February?? I googled and there is something called Spring festival, national holiday 10.-17. February), so maybe that is the real airing time?? But I’m also unpatiently waiting (o:

Right, this looks exactly like with MJTY - a few rumors for airing in a week, than the rumored date came and nothing happened and a few days later, out of nowhere, it was aired..
But I hoped this one is tencent’s big project so they will promote it a lot before airing. As it seems, they do not plan to do it??
Esther is kind of not too lucky with promotion of her dramas /o:

Hard to say.. In the novel, there are second leads with not so much “screen time”, just mentioned time to time. But there are also some chapters at the end, I haven’t read them yet, but all are about ML’s sister and her love story. But these chapters don’t mention main leads (at least not so much). So it depends how the script will be done, it will be probably a little different than the novel (novel is also full of very hot and explicit scenes of main leads and these have no chance to make it to the drama ((o: no chance against censorship).
So we’ll have to wait for the drama, what will get there from novel and what will be added (I read they will focus more on the story of FL (her work etc.), there is not much about it in the novel)

The reason they don’t have photos together might be that Sword and fairy will air soon so they have to promote CP with XuKai (SaF and Black Lotus are both Tencent). I was curious why there are almost no fancams of XinXin in Black Lotus (and almost zero with XinXin interacting with Yuxi) and someone explained it is because Sword and Fairy will be aired first and so only CP with XuKai has to be promoted. It sounds weird to me, but it is probably how it works in C-ent.
I believe XinXin and Yuxi are very good friends, so the promotion of CP with XuKai sounds to me like possible explanation for missing photos of XinXin together with Yuxi..
