My understanding is: Yue Qi was alive, she wanted to sacrifice herself to bring YJZ back. But that oldest brother of Bian LuoHuan (I don’t remember his name) came first to sacrifice himself for Qi and YJZ. His remaining life was too short, so it wasn’t enough to bring JingZhao back, so the deal was to sacrifice his short remaining life and all memories of him in this world + whatever Qi offers (cause he was sure Qi will come to sacrifice herself), and this all for Qi and YJZ to be both reborn/recreated (or however it is called). The result was Qi and JinZhao were reborn, but with no memories (and if I understand it correctly, also nobody remembered them), that’s why they met as strangers at the end (but still, deep inside, knowing they belong together as fated).
So it was like exchange “oldest brother’s life + Qi’s memories and traces of her in this world” for YJZ being reborn. And “Qi’s life” for Qi being reborn. Number of living people remains the same, so it’s ok. That’s how I understand it (o:

It’s good Esther’s next drama is Ssh the king is hibernating, it seems like not so emotional drama. After MJTY and now Sward and fairy, I thing I have cried enough for the rest of my life!
But she definitelly knows what scripts to pick, I love all her dramas..

I think in some recent interview she talked about having some variety show for this year. But she didn’t specify it, so she might have some variety show this year, but it doesn’t have to be this one..

Boring? No way! And I quite understand everything, it is explained through episodes. The most explanation about main leads is in episodes 27 and 28. I just watched ep. 29 and cried through the whole episode, it was so sad.. If it would be boring, it wouldn’t make me cry so hard (o: But the story and the acting is both so good that I literaly feel like living it!

Count me in. I wasn’t able to read subtitles how my vision was blurred by tears the whole episode. I think I will wait till evening (its midday in my country now) to watch episode 30, I have to compose myself first.. Damned, why Bian can’t have at least last happy 5 minutes with Qi? This is so sad and unfair to him )o:
But they are all doing great job in acting here, especially XuKai as Bian, I can feel all his emotions which makes it so much worse, so much sadder..

It depends what is “satisfying plot” for you. I think the plot of this drama is very satisfying for most of people in this discussion. I personally love this drama and I consider the plot as very interesting and exciting. And very emotional.
So try to give some examples of dramas you like or plots you like, then maybe someone will be able to recommend something similar to you.

But when I think about it, they wouldn’t let them snowboarding anyway, even if they would be great in it. Because which director would dare to risk they will injure themselves (which means shooting has to take quite long break). And with snowboard, it is easy to get injured, just fall bad way once. So I guess XinXin can feel at ease as well ((o:

I didn’t comment below, because there are many who did, so why to bother? Besides, I didn’t watch SF4, I don’t have so much time, I picked just this one, so how could I compare? But if you start new comment talking only about different drama and making other believe how great it is, without any context - you really think all people here read all comments?? I did, so I know what you are trying to say, but normal way how to react to something is to REPLY to comment you are reacting to (so everybody knows what you are talking about without need to read whole discussion and guess). Not to CREATE new thread without context where you start to fight for drama we don’t care about here..
But given how excited you got after my comment, you are probably still teenager and it is normal for them to be like that, believing they know better and all others are dumb (o: My oldest daughter is 13 and is exactly like that (o: When you will get older, you will calm down (o;
And btw. it is not so normal to discuss about different drama on some drama page. It is like comming to thread about some mathematical problem to discuss there problems with your language..

So it means thei will air it long after SF6 airing ends? Well, that’s weird kind of promotion..
I hoped they will somehow air it next week,when SF6 still be releasing new episodes (at least for not vip or not fast track). So it could attract new viewers and finally do something with heat index. But this way, no chance /o:

You are not comparing, you are just praising another drama. Why? Here we don’t care how is SF4, we are discussing SF6..

Are you sure you are commenting on the right place? This page is for Sword and fairy (Chinese paladin 6), not Sword and fairy 4..

Her voice is exactly as it is supposed to be for her character (exactly like Yue Qi’s voice in the game based on which this drama was made). So if you cannot cope with this voice, you cannot cope with her character. So just don’t watch.
But it is great drama, I’m enjoying it very much. All are doing great job with their acting, the plot is very interesting.
And btw. I’m really tired of all that complains about her voice, she is dubbing not only all her characters but also some movies (Gwen in Spiderman). Her voice is like this because her character is supposed to talk like it - otherwise directors wouldn’t let her dubb her characters. So next time, try to find more about the character before you start complaining. And find a drama with characters you like. She is doing great job with her voice as well as her acting..

I bet there will be some purpose of him. Why would they include him if he would be useless? It wouldn’t make sense. Especially for the original game - why to bother to create useless character, it is a lot of work for game programmers. He has to have some reason to be there. So I expect there will be something in later episodes..

I understand why he didn’t want to sacrifice his machine. It is the only think left by his mother, he promised his mother to take good care of it. And it is probably his only friend, it seems nobody cared about him in his sect, all had fun of him. So he has very strong emotional bind to this machine considering it as his closest friend. And Gu understood this, so he didn’t blame him.
And I expect he will play some role in the upcoming episodes, creators of the game wouldn’t create useless character..

She is acting and talking exactly how she is supposed to, that’s why is she praised for her acting and dubbing.
So it would be better for you to try to find more information about the characters she is playing before you start complaining.. Like in Sward and fairy (where you also criticize her acting) she is exactly the same as Yue Qi from the original game ( you can watch clips from the game on youtube). - people who know the game praise her that she is perfectly playing he character.
So you should complain about her characters but definitelly not about her acting and voice.
