I read it via google translator (I found it only in chinese), so the translation was not perfect, but I liked the drama. All of these talking about her so nicely, talked about her exceptional personality, about her captivating aura. Also when watching her variety shows, events and BTSs, all people around her seem very fond of her, she is friend with so many people (o: That’s why I believe she truly has exceptionally nice personality (o:
And from what I have seen and read about XuKai so far, he must be also very nice boy, I’m glad people like this serve as role models for their fans.

It was kind of reincarnation, but it was still JinZhao and Qi (with their personalities), just without memories, but still, deep inside, they knew each other, it was clear to me from the way they smiled at each other. And as if not absolving acting school would make XuKai worse actor. He is already great and better than many others even without acting school..

From a few interviews of XuKai I got the same impression about him as you write. I’m glad he is really like that, amazing personality. Ester is also like this, that’s why I became her fan. Being Esther’s fan I can imagine the hate XuKai can get /o: The same with Esther - according to haters she is ugly, her voice is terrible, she is coquetish, fakes being cute, gets her roles because her family is rich, is terrible actress.. And in fact she is such a kind girl loved by all people who know her personally. I read a lot of comments from people who worked with her or just met her and all of them were talking so nicely about her, how she always helps others, makes sure everybody else is feeling comfortable (not caring about herself being also comfortable), is moodmaker cheering others when they are tired, how friendly she is.. Doesn’t mind any work, is humble, doesn’t complain (like when filming My journey to you - she spent whole day in cold water when it was freezing, then 2 days fighting in cold mud - she had the mud in her ears for two months - but never complained and was still smiling).
I guess XuKai is very similar (and gets similar treatment from haters). I have seen some videos with him and he seems like very nice boy caring for others. In fact, he and Esther are like twins (o: And even have the same hobbies (eating and fishing). That is why I think they enjoyed shooting together, they must have had a lot of fun and felt comfortable on set. I wish they could work together again. They have no free time so they deserve at least having a good time at work.. And we can enjoy the result of their good acting ((o:

I didn’t mind her voice here, she was supposed to have the same voice as her character in original game. I watched the game on youtube and the voice of Qi there sounded even more babish than Esther here, but she did really good job and emulated the voice almost the same way as original Qi sounded.
But you know, when I heard the Qi from the game, I knew even before this drama aired that people will again complain about Esther’s voice, because it was clear that she will have to use her most babish voice as Qi, it was necessary for her character. And I was not wrong /o: I just feel sad for Esther, she did great job with her voice, but all she gets is hate again (I don’t mean you, but there are many haters rating this drama by 1 star because of Qi’s voice).

I didn’t know XuKai too much before this drama, I just knew he exists. As Esther’s fan I was looking forward to SaF mainly because of her, she never disappoints with her acting and with dramas she decides to act in. But after watching some fancams, I wasn’t sure how Esther and XuKai will be together, XuKai seemed somehow too serious. Esther’s partners usually become very playfull with her, but SaF fancams I saw didn’t look like that. But after watching the drama and the BTSs I completely changed my opinion about XuKai. Not only I realized he is far from being serious (he is in fact as playfull as Esther ((o: ), but I also found out how outstanding actor he is. And he became one of my most favourite chinese actors. I really love his personality, he is a lot like Esther (her nice and kind personality was main reason I became her fan). Both are also very dedicated to their work, never complain. I’m glad they got a chance to work together, the result is amazing, I love this drama. But I would never believe they both also have so many haters, I thought it’s mainly girls who have haters. But it’s probably because they are such good and succesfull actors, jelousy is bad..
And if we talk about body, he is probably the absolute top one with his wide shoulders, muscles and strength he has. It is true that other actors seem too slim for men and they usually lack in physical strength.. It’s a pitty that in China being extremely slim is considered the most beautiful even for men /o:

He wasn’t as muscled as at other photos, but he was still looking damned good (o: And he is one of few actors who is really strong and can carry his FL without problems (I don’t understand why strong men are not appreciated in China - it is much more sexy than being slim for me).
And the rest of the video - accusing girl from being fact just because man cannot carry her? She is like 50kg, isn’t it more a shame of the boy he cannot carry her? 50kg is not much.. Boys should be strong enough to cope with such a weight.. But instead of being strong, chinese actors have to be extremely slim, that’s crazy..
I just hope XuKai doesn’t bother with these insane and ridiculous comments about his weight and he will not try to lose weight, it would be pitty

You can consider it open ending, but for me it’s clear that it is happy ending (they end the drama openly, but with clear indication of happy ending). So I was happy after the end (o:

But nevermind, I believe this drama will be appreciated at the end, viewers will find it. Maybe slowly, but they will.. It’s just a pitty it didn’t explode from the beginning as it would deserve..

Absolutely agree! Really, he is the saddest character. He suffered as a child, then few happy years with Qi and at the end, the saddest final ever. It broke my heart. All the time I hoped for at least 5 happy minutes with Qi for him. He would deserve one last kiss, but I know it wouldn’t fit into the story.. But still, he really would deserve it!

It seems people don’t want to think when watching dramas, they like straightforward plots where not much is happening, with a lot of excitement and kissing. That’s it. If you have to pay attention and think about the plot, a lot of people loose interest.. How sad.. And watching some really good actors in dumb dramas feels like waste of their talent )o:

He is one of few who are able to carry their FL’s without problems (I saw many others not able to princess carry that super light girls). I kind of don’t understand why being extremly skinny is so popular in China, especially in case of boys. Boys should have some strength, it is more sexy (o: I remember how shocked I was when I saw some video of Luo Yunxi with shorts, his legs are so extremely thin! I would be scared he will break them..
These standards of being extremely skinny are crazy even for girls, but for boys? It is insane..
