Kim young kwang has been acting for soo long and already done amazing work but Trigger was the drama that really put his face out there for mainstream audiences. Likewise, Byeon Woo Seok has been in the industry for yearrrs, but Strong Girl Nam Soon was the role that gave him that initial virality before Lovely Runner finally broke through. Likewise Kim Jae Wook's role in Voice is something eeeeveryone asks him about in interviews even now, he was like one of the first ever Korean poster boys for "pretty boy villain" after whom so many others have modeled after.

I thought he looked exactly the same haha, was going to comment that it looked like he was transplanted from sooy to this haha

Still cant believe he and the fl from perfect marriage revenge weren't cast in every drama that came afterward coz what do u mean they just disappeared after delivering that huge hit of a show? I'd even say that show was the beginning of the whole "dark-ish romance, revenge arc for female lead with the greenest green flag supportive ml" and no other drama after did it that well either 🤦‍♀️

Yes i remember that and you do have a point about his characterization. But that's also precisely the thing that's bothering me haha. i think my main problem is that i wish they'd gone with anything other than him assuming she has feelings for him simply coz she smiles at him or is friendly with him especially when she is that way with everyone. Recently, too many romcoms have been reinforcing this thing where if a character usually female is kind or friendly to you, then that gives the recipient every right to just assume she's into him. I think this is really concerning even when it's shown as humor or in a lighthearted way when u actually zoom out and look at what message they're selling here...lots of these viewers are young impressionable people from all genders and at least in 2026 when consent and boundaries r concepts that so many continue to not understand, we should be over these stale tropes tbh...

Also with respect to his character having been an outgoing friendly guy back in his school days before something happened, it doesnt even make sense for him to be this dense about misunderstanding her either. Surely he'd understand one can be friendly without having ulterior motives right? Since he used to be that person in the past for everyone...

I've always thought nobody in the world does zombie thrillers better than SK because I dont think I've watched a single korean zombie thriller i havent liked so big expectations for this one!
