I completely agree with you. My only nitpick is the use of AI…
If u r talking about the intro, they confirmed it wasn't ai and the work of an actual artist...in fact i think it was the artist who revealed that himself...
Omg last leaf is the perfect comparison...i really hope that's not the case tho...but considering the whole point of the story, i wonder if it will be similar or at least ambiguous ending 😞
Thr new memory flashbacks, the ex had bandage only on his index finger most of the scenes except for a few. In…
Ya i noticed that too...and turns out our theory about the bf cheating is true?! But maybe it's not the whole story coz again too many people r getting bruises in this show literally lol...chan's unexplained extra bruises, now the bf's...i wonder if it's symbolic for something? Or maybe chan confronts the bf and the girl with the bracelet and they get into a fight which is when he gets the other bruises on his face? And i wonder how this new clue adds to the lab explosion?
Him leaving for the US out of the blue is really weird, but at least he tried to call haran before leaving. Just wondering if korean writers dont know about texting or voice messages hahahah....😆🤦♀️
And dont u find it really strange how seonu chan acts like he's terminally ill/has a limited time left? Like i know he said he lives like it's his last day and that he is about to leave in 3 months and his trauma can explain it too but consjdering this is a kdrama and they keep emphasizing him leaving, im wondering if they're setting this up in a way where seonu chan actually leaves (in whichever way) and haran and him dont end up together, and the whole point of seonu chan's arrival and in this story is only for haran to come out of her own trauma and learn to live independently from the confines of attachment. Idk im really worried about chan's direction in this story and the ending...coz so far, while they do have chemistry, it also reads in a more platonic or "soul guide" kinda way to me tbh especially from seonu chan's side...
The highlight of this episode for me was definitely hayoung and the coo! Adorable moment when she realizes how he's always taken care of everyone around her including herself and never noticed. Feels like it was a mutual crush all along since it only took her noticing him noticing her to get all nervous and shy around him completely unlike her usual chirpy self and the instant disappointment when she realizes he is the same to everyone else 😆 And this might be the only childhood connection i dont mind since it fits into the context of the story they set up from the beginning!
He's been posting on his weibo, douyin and did a livestream. Where else is he supposed to promote? The production…
Oh i dont have any of those and usually get updates on tiktok or twitter and didnt see the usual stage event and things like that. Cool! Thanks for letting me know. Was this filmed a while ago?
So i saw this show when it aired and i still occasionally keep thinking about this scene in the drama that i have…
There's a scene after raik becomes a trainee and is still a child where the ceo takes him to "dinners" with adults?? I was wondering if this was what I thought it was?? If so, i'm so glad they made it deliberately vague enough to not be so obvious about something horrifyingly unacceptable. Or am I misreading it and was it something benign? The child's reaction after he was forced into that situation was heartbreaking and made me wonder what on earth could possibly be benign about sending a child alone into a room full of adults by himself?? It didn’t look like an audition either, but even if it was, why was raik crying and so distressed after?
This completely changes everything about the ceo and his mother for me. There is no redemption arc for either of them...
I think these r the details that make this show a much better representation of idol culture than so many others...it's dared to speak about issues that other shows never did...
So i saw this show when it aired and i still occasionally keep thinking about this scene in the drama that i have doubts about and haven't seen anyone mention so far, so wanted to know if anyone paid attention to it too or have an explanation (p.s: trigger warning: child abuse⚠️)
Some random thoughts from when I was watching the last ep:
I loved how taehyung doesn't just tell woojoo not to touch things in his apartment but actually explains to him why not to, because it can fall on him and hurt him. Great parenting 101! Treating a child no matter how young they r with respect and not like they r a kid so they should just have to blindly listen to the adults in their life.
I never rewatch entire dramas once I'm done with them but this is a show I know I will have to rewatch at some point outside of all the internet chatter and overblown hate to truly pick up more little details like this that I must've missed
Ahhhh had the biggest smile on my face by the end of ep 9! I knew I was better off having faith in the makers. That compilation right as hyun jin remembers all her moments with taehyung and the rain as a literal symbolic reminder of him was chef's kiss. It showed exactly how an actual relationship forms from being complete strangers to friends and before them even realizing it, family.
I don't think it's even relevant to talk about the sml anymore. Compared to even the most bland moment between hyun jin and taehyung, it was so obvious hyun jin and the sml had absolutely no spark or chemistry between them and it was purely one sided from the sml since taehyung came into the picture. The scene at the daycare event when hyun jin couldn't even hide her discomfort with the sml and how misplaced he looked with her and woojoo couldn't be more painfully obvious
I'm so glad they made hyun jin make the final move this time. It feels like a full circle moment.
Kinda funny how the first ever guy to mistake the both of them as actual husband and wife was also the guy who purely by chance ended up making them finally find their way to each other. Sincerely thankful to the office dude for stepping up to service!!
The preview for next week has me squealing with their family moments. Hoping woojoo is safe and sound and won't end up in any serious trouble!
Those who watched 1 and 2, can I watch 3 as a standalone? And does the series follow the same FL? And so she broke up with the previous 2 MLs? What's this story actually about haha...is it a typical romcom with the usual leads get together, happy ending?
I like your insight. This is all true. Let's not forget that while the girl has been showing discomfort around…
Ya i do think she needs better boundaries at work and in general. Plus she was pretty hot and cold this episode, obviously hurt by taehyung leaving but then choosing to not inform him about woojoo's daycare event 🤦♀️ ig she doesn't want to come across desperate or needy, but it only keeps reinforcing taehyung's belief that she's better off with the rich stable guy
Sml has no tact or awareness of his own privilege. He blames taehyung for hyun jin being hurt and tells hyun jin he can give love because he knows what it's like to have a good family but can't seem to reflect on the fact that taehyung didn't have the privilege of that. And the main difference between taehyung and the sml is that taehyung doesnt force his feelings onto hyun jin, while the sml keeps making decisons for her, without having the awarness to even ask her whether she even wants his "love".
Also frustrating behavior from taehyung in this episode literally paralleling his brother's savior complex by abandoning the two people who came to rely on him thinking it's actually what they want from him. Btw i think the brother's story is tragic but taehyung's hurt is still valid and no amount of justification can negate that.
But alas, i'll still be here, watching to the end lol. Cute baby woojoo was especially adorable in this episode 😍
