This whole show feels like a catalogue for byeon woo seok to keep strutting on screen coz how is this man this gorgeous in every single outfit and from every single angle known to man 😭😭😭 the last time i had to replay scenes to catch the subs coz i was too busy staring at the actor on screen was probably seo kang joon in undercover high school *sigh*😍🤣🤣
Besides that, I'm loving all the characters on huiju and the prince's side, even her brother and his wife are so adorable lol. I'm rooting for the secretaries. Didn't see that cdrama-esque ending to ep 7 coming but that's on me. Palace? Politics? Envious in laws? Obviously I should've expected poison 😭🤣

Idk about creepy but he is definitely overdoing it with all the smiling for sure. It's very unnatural and takes me out of the drama each time hes on screen. It feels like the actor playing this role isn't really immersing himself in this role coz it feels like he's playing himself 🥹
But totally agree, just another delulu sml who cant take a hint 😭 pure plot device to make ml jealous. There's an sfl too who is obsessed with the ml 🤦♀️ i wish they gave us a second couple like in business proposal without this love triangle bs
Loving this drama! Feels the most comforting out of all the romcoms airing right now. Again, this might be the year of reciprocal relationships because I love that the female lead here too has already unconsciously fallen for the ml and he's followed along too, instead of the usual situation with the fl being the most clueless idiot on the planet. Also loved how she didn't lead the sml on and actually set her boundaries straight there. At the same time the irony of not even a few hours later, her going back on her own words of not wanting to mix business with her personal life with the ml and him becoming the exception is especially why i'm really enjoying this show and their dynamic.
Tho ofc the fl has issues she needs to work through before she gets into another relationship. For one, she needs to take her mother out of the self made pedestal she's put her on and see her for who she actually is. A woman who abandoned her child for her career's sake. I wouldn't villainize her mom because we dont yet know the full context of what happened in her marriage and motherhood, but hope the drama handles it with some nuance without justifying what she did completely either.
The ml seems to be carrying his own trauma too. Wonder what that's about?
Overall im loving this drama and looking forward to seeing more of these two!
This was so heartbreaking and sad with so many tender moments throughout. Park jihoon anyhow naturally carries this disposition of someone who desperately needs to be protected or hugged and so seeing him in this role made it even more bittersweet. Knowing it's based on a real life story made it even more difficult. I can see why this movie was popular in SK. They've depicted a difficult story from their history with so much warmth, hope and tenderness. Highly recommend!
Out of all the airing dramas, this is the show im looking forward to the most after absolute value of romance every week lol...and it's 99% coz of ahn hyo seop...the man can have chemistry with a potato (or mushroom in this case)...iykyk 🤭🫠
This show really brings out kim jae won's appeal so much! It feels like i'm seeing him with new eyes now lmao...he didn't stand out too much in the other shows I've seen him in him. But loved how his character evolved from ep 1 of this drama. Feels really good to see a drama show exactly how the characters fall for each other. I wasn't really buying their chemistry in the beginning and how someone as rigid as sunrok would even catch feelings but ep 6 with all of sunrok's conflicted feelings really brought all the feeeeeeels! *swoon* excited to see the final episodes next week <3
I dont know how to explain it but this drama has that old school charm about it that I missed so much in kdramas. For one, there doesn't seem to be the dratted template love triangle where everything and everyone revolves around the fl and the fl seems to be in a harem with every man under the sun. Here on the other hand, every character including the supporting cast seem to have their own pairings which makes it way more interesting, realistic and feel like an actual lived in office sitcom. I'm loving how refreshing that feels. The situational comedy also lands each time and gong myung is very convincing in this drama as a down on his luck poor office worker. Also gong myung reminds me of tom cruise in jerry maguire in this drama for some reason lmao...if u see that too, we can be friends 🤣🫡
The addition of him being the only man in a house full of over protective and loud older sisters and his mom was amazing! It really hits home the fact that the poor man seems to be surrounded in every facet of his life by overbearing women with whom he continues to have to concede with adding to his plight 😅
Oh and before I forget, loved the pyo yejin cameo! I really enjoyed the saving of a whole marriage with just that one zone F incident lol...super cute 🤣 really thought they were going to pull a hilarious misunderstanding with the married couple getting caught in the zone instead of the usual affair tho
I mean i dont understand the need to set this in 2005/2008...it could work perfectly fine in 2026...not sure why they placed such an obvious plot hole like this...i wonder if the makers have talked about it
Have a question: the drama begins with the creepy girl in 2005 filming on a phone that was definitely not available in 2005. I mean we didnt even have laptops in 2005....the. the present day shows that the drama is happening in 2008 but they showed them using Discord which wasn't even around until 2015...r these plot holes? 😅 also what's with the modern day phones? When did they have the S series in 2008? Or am i understanding this wrong?
So excited for this! Haven't seen a lot of anticipation for this yet but it's been one of my top most anticipated dramas this year. The teaser looked amazing! Can't wait to see Kim Muyeol kick some ass 😅🫡
I'm on ep 7 and enjoyed the slow burn dynamic up until then but thereafter, it looks like there's a love triangle and all the regular tropes of jealousy incoming...wonder if it's worth continuing?
Ep 1 was entertaining. I'm not the biggest shin hae sun fan, but I genuinely enjoyed some of the parody with the role reversal scenes. Had some genuine laugh out loud moments with gong myung. Very curious about the second leads story, especially kim jae wook's character's marriage...
