I really, REALLY wanted to like it, truly, I had been expecting this since it aired, I was waiting for it to finish to binge-watch it but I got bored, so many scenes of the villains and not enough of the mains.

I didn't expect to enjoy it this much, it was really good. However, when the "salt trade" arc started I got kind of bored, if I'm being honest, I stayed for Ping An and Shao Cheng, they were what I loved the most.
This is not a romance drama, but what they had was so gooooooood, to me, it actually felt more intimate than a kiss scene.

I liked it as a child, but I couldn't bear to watch it now, even then it made me sad, now I would be a lake of tears.

I thought this was going to be like Hi Venus kind of vibe, and it was, until they presented her "best friend" (SFL) and her college classmate (SML), after that, I couldn't enjoy the drama, I was always annoyed with the FL cluelessness towards her friend's antics and that her friends didn't get that the FL and the ML weren't interested in them, so they kept stick their nose where it doesn't belong.
A shame, I wanted to like it.

This short drama is perfect for a safe watch when you just want something light, enjoyable and fun, with zero drama, a simple plot but not boring and many cute moments.
I liked that the FL wasn't annoying and obnoxious, it happens with similar plots where she's pretending to be a man so I was wary at first, but this FL was kind of cute.
The ML fell first and harder, in no time he was head over heels for her, just how I like them.
