Starting from the hotel room scene, the tension was over the top. My heart was continuously racing, even untill the preview for the next eps.

Eps 4 is on fire. Today eps make my heart flutter.

Finally after Fated Hearts on October last year, I get this level of excited for drama CP.

I just found original creator on description, Yang Hee Seung (previously writing Kimbokjoo, Crash Course in Romance). No wonder this drama is good.

Wow, the ending of eps 3 is so mind blowing. The twist is fresh 😂
It gives more layers to Joo In Ah character. She has different sides to her personality from what she shows at the office.

I am so happy watching kdrama Climax & cdrama The Dark Romance. Both potray imperfect life, dark side of human life, power struggle, trauma, & human madness. Hajiwon & Jujihoon, SunLi & WuKangRen, these 2 couples are award winning actors!

I enjoy the first eps

I've just finished watching last eps. This drama is incredible. As mystery (east asian) drama lover, I have never watched drama like how TDR approach. This drama is so detail to modus of crime that using vulnerable side of human psychology/behaviour.
I cried on last eps because of whale story.

Thank you writer-director (our amazing woman director), Wu Kang Ren, Sun Li, all casts, & all crews for this dark yet educative drama!
I wish I can watch more cdrama with mature & excellent quality like this (or The Long Night, The Bad Kids, & The Long Season).
With this level, thriller cdrama can compete powerfully with the mystery genre of kdrama.

I watch a lot of mystery kdrama & cdrama. TDR is so different. This drama explore the details of the phenomenon very well.

I am so grateful Wu Kang Ren play Luo Liang. He can greatly pull this gray character.

When I am watching TDR, I can feel movie-vibe treatment so I guess the director is someone who previously make movie. I check MDL, & I am right.

PS: I think, Wang You Jun (Jin Long Zheng) is also main lead. His screen time & impact of character JLZ is almost like Rensuxi & other main leads.
