I am so happy watching Speed & Love. I feel nostalgic to The Legend of Speed (racer & his loveable girlfriend), & Initial D (hill racing & AE86) era. I love racing scenes! At the same time, also remind me to taiwanese & korean drama 2000s era like The Outsiders (competition between gang/team), also Endless Love/Autumn in My Heart & Devil Beside You (not-related-blood sibling).

Both dramas are "okay" but my SVIP has been wasted. Because both dramas werent fit for my standar.
I bought SVIP because The Glory novel & The Double novel are written by same author. I watched The Glory until eps 19-20. 1. I cant still ignored all the illogical parts along halfway eps. Because spontaniously I laughed on the illogical parts. The scene that supposed to be having suspense/mysterious/melodramatic emotion turn to comedy. 2. the acting style of FL, mother of FL (too bold), & ML (too flat) are too different. When those 3 characters on same scene, I feel like the scene isnt convincing because of disconnectedness among the character. 3. Similar problem with different acting style, The Glory production mix "proper aesthetic" production with "makjang" vibe (The Glory's novel writer is the same author with The Double. I love the double!). So I feel disconnectedness.
For Fight for Love, I bought SVIP because I trust the director. He is the director of A Journey to Love. I think the problem come from the script & acting department. I feel like something that isnt sitting properly.
Do i need to watch the previous one or can i start this drama
You can still enjoy the drama even without watching previous season. But your understanding would be better if you do. Actually I havent finished previous season (because when it was airing, I was so busy back then). I watched first season till around 10 eps & I havent watched the second season. But now I watch third season everyday.

This part actually has better depiction than The Glory several month ago. I still remember clearly because I already bought Express (1 eps earlier than VIP) back then. But too much illogical parts that I cant tolerate anymore, so I drop it around ep 19. Oh my money ...LOL
One of illogical scene is FL finally found important man in a bamboo forrest. She need to carry that man to center of the city by herself as soon as possible. Deus ex machina, suddenly FL found wooden cart (big enough to carry a man) in the middle of bamboo forest ... then suddenly she arrived at city center on time by pushing the cart from forest outside the city. How come? LOL In front of my TV I laughed bitterly back then, I felt the drama insult my brain LOL
This part on Fated Hearts seems not really smooth, but at least her horse is already there because she goes there by riding it. Military horse usually got training too.

Seems the scriptwriter & editor designed each 2eps become 1 package of story (like movie). So the tension is getting higher & higher until climax on last minute on even eps. I watched ep 27-28 by squeezing my pillow because I was so nervous 🤪
