It's true, the ending was unnecessarily painful but I think that's also a reason why ppl still are into KaH years after watching it the first time. This and the awesome acting and the almost perfect casting for main and support roles.... and Xiao Bai 😁

It's definitely a love story (but Chinese, so of course censored). How they look at each other, the longing gazes and fleeting touches are more than just obvious. Give it a try, it's so worth the watch.
If you're in for a ridiculously long (52 published chapters but still not completely finished) YueZhi fanfic, how about this? 😁
China, 1931: Chen Yuzhi, a millennia-old vampire, is looking for a way to become human again. His path crosses that of Jiang Yuelou, department chief of the Jingcheng police, who is assigned to solve a case of serial murders in which all victims discovered were found bloodless.
And yes, Chen Yuzhi needs to kill to stay alive. How will Jiang Yuelou handle this?
Xiao Bai, Keying and many of the original characters are also part of this fic which will cover a time span of about 150 years.
I liked it from the start. Despite the sometimes poor quality of the sets and CGI and the sometimes silly story, what kept my eyes glued to the screen were the two main actors. Their chemistry is amazing (not as adorable as YueZhi's but still worth to watch every episode). Zhu Yilong was very impressive with his acting skills.
I like the Untamed but nowhere near as KaH and WOH 😅 I dropped that. Began to watch it and while waiting for new episodes I started KaH and was so blown away that I couldn't watch WOH any longer. I know of the other two you mentioned but never watched them. KaH is by far my fav C-drama. Did you watch Guardian? If not it's really nice. Imho not as good as KaH but worth a watch.
Ahh this scene makes me blushing. The chemistry is oozing. Who needs explicit confessions or intimate sexual behaviors…
So true. They just need to look into each other's eyes and my heartbeat's accelerating 🥰 Too bad we can't post pics here. I know exactly which screenshot would be perfect.
ManiChan is also there and some more ppl. We can also talk about the missing chapters of the novel and about the audio drama (it's a little hard to find all subbed episodes and the unsubbed ones).
And check this FMV too. More official than MGTV's sloppy work 😬 and sorry for so many replies 🙊https://youtu.be/FXGVk7TuYM0

It's nice to see that there are still ppl wanting to talk a little about this gem 💖. If you didn't came across it, I recommend the novel and the audio drama (AD is not finished but still so freaking cute at many points).
I want to give this a watch but I'm not one for sad endings. How far in the final episode should I stop so that…
If you stop at Epb37, like ManiChan wrote, then you still get the full story. You won't miss anything, just stop watching when the two characters in the last scene take their first step after their dialogue. KaH is more than just worth the watch. I'm sure, you won't regret it.
Which one is better? This or Guardian? I've watched 5 ep of Guardian! It's kinda boring! Anyone pls help me with…
Killer and Healer is by far my most favorite drama ever. Guardian is my number 2 but almost only because of WeiLan. I love those two even if they cannot reach YueZhi's deep affection and fluffiness. Still, imho it's worth the watch even if the story is sometimes silly. Some of the side characters will shine later on too. I never regretted watching it.
