I watched a video on YouTube that said their original choice was some guy named Chen Zheyuan (sorry, I'm not familiar with him), but he supposedly clashed with Dudu because he didn’t want to be second billing or something. He signed up for Fated Hearts because he gets to work with an A-list actress. Take this with a grain of salt because I’m not sure how true it was. However, I’m actually quite happy it’s Xin Yunlai because I think he’s tall, handsome, has great micro-expressions, and looks adorable with Tutu. xD

I read that during the Ming Dynasty, some weaker emperors were manipulated by the eunuchs into giving them power. Eunuchs were often their most trusted servants and advisors because, since they were castrated, they had no descendants, which meant there was no fear of them overthrowing the emperor. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on this. xD
I dont understand why people are saying there's no romance for the MC.I love the tension and all that complicated…
Yaay. I'm glad you see it too. I personally do think there is romance in this TV series, but I guess it all comes down to what kind of romance you prefer. There are a few scenes that had me hyperventilating and some that had me dying. xD
