Want to give a update:-KSH reached 3.3 million followers on instagram woah!
Yay! Seems like there are lots of people who started the drama after it ended and are discovering him only now. The number seems to rise even faster than during the run of the drama. I think he can definitely reach 4 million till the end of the year!
I'm here as well! It's a pity that one can't create groups here in MDL haha. We really need a Ji Pyung Nation…
Haha, indeed!
The follow-up drama to Start-Up, Mr. Queen, actually looks hilarious as well. And the actors starring in it are amazing too (the ML is also one of the MLs in Waikiki Season 1 and he was excellent in there). I'll definitely check it out. It's a remake of the Chinese drama Go Princess Go btw and this one was freaking hilarious too.
Usually I'm only watching kdramas, but kdrama keep dissapointing me these days, so I'd recommend Someday or One…
If this is your favorite genre, then Love Me If You Dare is an absolute classic and must-watch! And When a Snail Falls In Love and Memory Lost are also really good and based on novels by the same writer who also wrote Love Me If You Dare. And the best thing, they're all short haha.

Imo the Chinese do youth slice-of-life really well. When We Were Young falls into that category and other awesome dramas of this kind are Suddenly This Summer, Le Coup de Foudre, With You, My Huckleberry Friends and Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds.
Those I mentioned are all rather on the shorter side for Cdramas.

Definitely Eulachacha Waikiki 2 as it has Kim Seon Ho as well! If you haven't watched it yet that is. Though, I have to say, the first season was even better (but no Seon Ho). It's my favorite comedy drama. Another older short one I really loved (and barely anyone seems to know) is 21st Century Family.

Fight For My Way is basically everything Start-Up probably attempted to be. A motivational story about four normal youths in their late 20s who don't have the right qualifications but fight for their dreams anyway, or find out what their dreams actually are. It's not a *ahem* fantasy but actually pretty realistic, yet inspiring as we see them find and reach what they want in life. As for the romance part, there are two couples and nobody is left out in the end. It's one of my all-time favorites.
Come to think of it, maybe the writer of Start-Up sort of wanted to copy this drama, add a Cyrano de Bergerac background, plus insert characters from Reply 1988?
If you're in the mood for action/fantasy/horror, have you seen The Guest yet? Or Missing: The Other Side?
If you want some comedy mixed in as well, then maybe you could also try Possessed or Black.
Just fyi, I have seen none of these dramas yet (it's not really my go-to genre, although I'm planning to watch them all sometime) but I always keep myself updated about what's going on in Kdramaland and I've heard lots of good things about these dramas. Though feedback on Possessed was pretty mixed as it seemed to have taken quite a dark turn in the later episodes.
HJP gang! (And everyone with whom i shared my frustrations over the past months) add me here! I can't find all…

As for recommendations, do you have any particular topic you'd like to see covered in a drama or any genre that you're in the mood for right now?
PS: Seon Ho reached 3.2 million IG followers a couple of hours ago! I wanted to post it here at first, but then I felt that it's probably off-topic right now.
If anyone liked Do San for being a people-oriented person (more like Dal Mi-oriented, but I won't delve into this right now), then I highly suggest you to watch "Fight For My Way" and to pay special attention to the second female lead and her relationship. That is how a healthy relationship involving a people-oriented person should look like (at the end of the drama that is).
The writer should meet a Do San in rl in case she doesn't know what she did wrong with this drama. I bet she never even interacted with someone similar to him.
Omg guys, one happy thing among all the frustration, the number of Seon Ho's IG followers is going up like crazy at the moment! He'll probably reach 3.2 million in a few hours already.
For those of you who are new here in this comments section and just discovered Kim Seon Ho, here are the relevant IG accounts:

When We Were Young (2018) was really good and has exactly 24 eps!
Have you seen the preview of the song? Seems indeed like a very sad one.

Me after watching ep. 16: F*ck that sh*t.
Did the writer actually go on vacation in the middle of this project and let her assistants do her job instead?
