I just watched the first episode and found it extremely unrealistic and cringey. Is this the vibe of the entire drama or will it change? I'm contemplating whether I should continue this drama anyway or not. Did you love it right from the start? I'd like to hear people's honest opinions, please no comments trying to convince me that this drama is amazing just because you love it. This type of drama might just not be for me, so I want to know if the vibe of the drama as in episode 1 stays the same.
I also need to praise the actors, they're all doing a great job! They've really made their characters come alive, I can't even imagine anyone else as them right now.
After a short break from dramas I finally started Run On and binged all 8 episodes. What a gem of a drama! Run On hasn't even finished it's run yet but I'm already anticipating this writer's next projects. I'll religiously follow her from now on. Every character is so unique and the females are empowered, which is sadly still a rare sight in many Kdramas. Common Kdrama tropes and chlichees are being reversed or even made fun of (the "love triangles are boring" line was gold!). And the dialogues are so fresh and witty. I love how the writer plays with literal and figurative meaning. And last but not least, even though prejudice and discrimination against gender, race and sexuality is still very strong in Korea's society and thus also often finds its way into dramas, the writer of Run On stands out as an open-minded and sensitive person who makes an effort to normalize certain topics and manages to subtly weave positive messages into the drama. Kdrama writers should all study this drama as a reference for their future projects.
I have not understood a single thing you said apart from the fact that no : https://twitter.com/alexgcari/status/1341644408811257856?s=20
It was about time for stupid rumors to emerge lol. It's just one more proof of his popularity reaching new heights. It's obvious that it's all natural if you look at his childhood pics. Even the double eyelids, which most stars get through surgery, are natural.
It's Shin Min Ah as the FL most probably omg!! Her comeback drama after 2 years and that too with Seon Ho! Be…
Omg that would be awesome! But nothing is confirmed yet, is it? This is already the third drama he's reported to be in talks for, so who knows which one he'll choose.
TVN is never letting him go :) He is their new cash cow. They have KSH chained in their office somewhere :)Need…
I'd like him to do a drama from public TV though, otherwise he can't win them awards since the cable channels don't hold award shows. But the script is the most important after all. I hope he chooses a good one no matter the channel, but I really want to see him in a public TV drama as well at some point haha.
I didn't manage to get a ticket for Seon Ho's play, it was sold out within seconds, I'm crying.
They should just offer an online broadcast for a fee haha. Then everyone who's interested (including international fans) could watch and they'd make tons of money. It'd be a win-win for everyone.
aww gurl :( What is the seating capacity for his plays?I think in 2021, he has a brand new theatrical play, you…
That's the one I was trying to get a ticket for, there's no other play he's starring in. Due to safety measures, only half of the seats were available, I think around 60 seats per performance. And Seon Ho performs 11 times.
I just checked out the results of the 'Swoonies Choice Awards 2020'. I'm elated that HJP got a whole category…
I already mentioned this in a comment somewhere below: Pretending to be a living buddha while he's not.
But all joking aside, Tae Oh indeed should have won. But The World of the Married is obviously less popular with international fans as it doesn't star any Hallyu stars.
I want to try 'Weightlifting fairy' but I'm quite hesitant about it. Is it good ?
I loved Weightlifting Fairy, it's one of my favorite rom-coms! But only start it if you're sure that you're able to unsee Do San when you see the actor on screen haha. Otherwise wait and watch it sometime later when the memory of Start-Up isn't as fresh anymore.
It honestly surprises me that anyone prefers NDS or likes the ending. I can only assume it's a physical attraction…
Omg, I had the same thought! He's not my type any way but I think he looked better before he started bulking up. His features don't match such a bulked up body imo.
My fellow Seon Ho stans, please keep your fingers crossed for me! Ticketing for his play starts next Tuesday and…
I'm contemplating whether to aim for a less ideal seat because chances to get the ticket for it might be higher. But other people might think the same. I have no experience at all with ticketing for a show that will be quickly sold out, so I don't know what to go for xD
