Personally, I'd love more drama series depicting history as it got written down at the time the emperors lived and not the way, novellists and screenwriters and censors feed it to us. Yes! Numerous drama series borrow emperors, princes, poets, scholars, warriors etc. from history, mostly even under their real name. But in most cases I find the real historical events way more thrilling than anything novellists or screenwriters could ever make up.

Yup! Which makes me remember a time where archaeologists claimed the Roman Empire and the Chinese Dynasties didn't know about each other. It was too funny to see those idiots when ancient shards of Roman glass got found in Xi'an (Chang'an) and when they found Chinese crafts in ancient Roman excavations. Still interesting, though, that amongst the Chinese Emperors are definitely some, who could easily compete with their cousins of the Roman Empire. If I think of Caligula, Claudius, Nero and some other monsters who ruled Rome back then, Zhu Wen would surely have enjoyed their complany.
