On ep 8, still enjoying this drama.... I'm truly tickled watching Li Hong Yi play a vanilla, shy, just adorable green flag character. ❤️❤️❤️

In the novel Song Shi Lan and Jiang Chun were married in the epilogue section, he had actually only loved her since a very young age. So this was a nod of understanding to that happening in the future in the drama as well... And Shen You was the one who had the connection with the pregnant Wei? If he is, in the novel he redeemed himself and they ended up married. Dont know what happened to him in the drama. And if that wasnt the right character name you were asking about, sorry too many to remember.

This drama reminds me of a fun costume mini-drama, but its disguised as a full length instead. So I'm enjoying it... 🤭🤭🤭

After watching ep 1, I thought the synopsis was completely wrong... until I saw the preview for ep 2. 👍

This is how I understood it... JW who just came back is the legitimate FIRSTBORN of the deceased King (not the current king) JW is ML's cousin and disposed CP before QD acted to kill his mom (the queen of the deceased King). The deceased King and young CP (dont know if full brother of JW) were both killed by the left minister, the child CP was too young to marry Left Minister's daughter so Im sure that is why he got killed. QD and Left Minister are not on the same side. I have no idea why she disposed JW as the CP and killed his mom (the past queen) either. Left Minister put the current King (no blood relation to current QD) on the throne and claimed that he is mad (when he is clearly not) and locked him up bc of unstable mental issues as stated so current CP is "in charge" though left minister is the one actually in power. Left Minister purposefully disposed of the Crown Princess and told her to commit suicide to protect the ones she loved, so that his daughter (2FL) can marry the current CP (our ML)and become the future queen with the goal of the Left Ministers blood now ruling in future royal generations. And the QD is trying hard to prevent the Left Ministers daughter from marrying into the royal family. I think the relationships will be explained in more detail, once the conspiracies are discussed more in future eps.

I enjoyed the set-up and storytelling 📖 aspect of the 1st episode. ***Translation- some viewers might find it slow*** 🤣
