The production doesn’t deserve Shuxin. Can’t wait for this drama to finally be finished, i hope she never…
Did she have any problems with the production? Is it serious?

Why do I not see an adult Sang Zhi in the cast list? I know she will not be appearing often but I thought we would…
Sang Zhi was still a minor when he got his bar in the novel, the timeline does not follow Hidden Love.

Okay. A rant again(I have no one to rant this about). During the highschool days, Sang Yan is just so different.…
Exactly! Those who have never experienced difficulties or who have not been confronted with certain realities of life cannot learn to manage the emotional complications of adulthood. San yan has matured after his heartbreak he has learned to become more reliable and less carefree, he also tries to protect his feelings even if he always advances towards Wen yi fan. because he no longer has the excess self-confidence of his younger years, he walks towards her slowly, so as not to end up hurting himself or her. He really grew up in a good way because many are not able to not hold grudges after being hurt, even if he still has a very innocent side. Some men or women need someone who can help them and get them out of their dark moment. Wen yi fan is very lucky to have met Sang yan. what a shame, Jin chao also deserved someone like sang yan.

No. Smoking is not cool.
Smoking isn't cool but it's the reality for so many people. I noticed during my travels in Asia that a lot of Asians smoke in Japan, Korea and also a lot in China.

you described wen yi fan so well, that's exactly what the novel is trying to convey about wen yi fan. Zhang Ruo-Nan…
“Relationships should enhance your life not add an extra burden” I love this life philosophy and I think you are right. Life in itself is full of lessons from good and bad experiences, just like encounters whatever path you take. as a woman, the world has made me become a rather introverted person who has a small social circle and who has difficulty really opening up to others despite my passion for the new and the unknown. Human beings are so complex that I often have the impression that dealing with others necessarily depends on each person's mood, because we often realize that the impression we have of others is not often the right one, which is why I am rather cautious and introverted in my character. Wen Yi Fan is a character that I particularly like because even if she is afraid of letting others into her life because she is afraid of ending up suffering even more, her mental strength impresses me. It's so beautiful to see her with someone who cares about her, who manages to make her let go who can also make her open up to happiness, to the world and to so many other feelings, I particularly like her journey to happiness.

She isn’t wrong though. She just realize early that cutting off relationships to lessen your burden is essential…
you described wen yi fan so well, that's exactly what the novel is trying to convey about wen yi fan. Zhang Ruo-Nan manages to interpret her character magnificently well; she totally brought Wen Yi Fan to life. The elements added to the drama add even more depth and sadness to her story.

I came for Bai Jin Tin and the novel but I will definitely stay for Zhang Ruo Nan's interpretation his acting is so realistic, I am so touched by his performance I will look into his other dramas. She would have made a perfect interpretation of xu Zhi from the novel (Be Passionately In Love) but I think Liu Hao Cun will also do a good job. overall for the moment I love this adaptation I hope it will continue to be good while I wait for Zhang Linghe's drama (the best thing).

On Everlasting Longing Feb 19, 2025
Song Wei Long has a good visual but his acting is not good enough, his expressions are either exaggerated or not intense enough, his character doesn't help either. Angelababy has improved her skills but it's not natural enough I always feel I'm watching an actress who plays the character, she failed to make the character her own. The novel was not very good for me, the drama has too few strong points to be appreciated, the main male character is not charismatic enough he really does not exude the stature of a leader, he is more of a puppet who revolves around Fl. The character of Fl is not credible, swimming is not credible either. For me it's not a very good drama so I can't recommend it but I know that it might please others.

This was the first internet novel that I read and I really couldn't find anything even like it after that. It…
what type of novel are you looking for Xianxia (the Xianxia that I read are not usually involved in romance only in the development of the strength and the journey of the main characters. Light romance or drama because most of the novels that I have read already have a Cdrama adaptation. If you have not read or seen Will Love in Spring I highly recommend it, I can make you a list but all the novels focused on romantic relationships that I have read are already adapted into Cdrama. This is why I am looking for new recommendations myself. I have already read all your recommendations, The First Frost (I am currently following the drama), The Best Thing (I am waiting for the drama which will be released next month) I really liked it, on the other hand Blazing Sunlight/Shine on Me a lot of things bothered me but it was quite a good read. The Legend of the Female General was a good read. I didn't like Everlasting Longing at all, Fl wasn't really credible and Ml wasn't charismatic enough, the introduction of Ml's attraction was so quick for a person described as intelligent he fell easily into Fl's lies, it really wasn't good writing.

Zhu Yu/Chasing Jade, not yet I'm waiting to watch the Cdrama before reading it because often Historical Dramas don't do justice to the novel. (I want to watch the drama with an objective opinion and not constantly compare it to the novel). I'm waiting for Zhang Ling-He in the role Xie Zhang, I saw some BTS he looks amazing. Yingtao is such an endearing character, I don't like seeing her suffer either. Do you have any interesting novel recommendations to share?

Jiang Qiaoxi chose to cut contact because he did not want Yingtao to go through her disastrous situation with him. Jiang Qiaoxi is a person who does not like to be seen in difficulty and who is not used to asking for help; he takes on all his problems alone because he has difficulty trusting others. His cushion gave him so little yet he had to take on the difficulties of his cushion because it was the only person who was there for him trying to understand him and who showed him love and interest according to his perception so he felt a sense of obligation towards him. Yingtao is a girl raised in love and carefree yet she is so strong when Qiaoxi ignored her she did the same when he gave her love she gave him the same love she supported her emotionally and was there in her bad times. Qiaoxi returned to Yingtao everything she did for him and he gave her the life she deserved supporting her in her decisions giving her all his love. Qiaoxi has never received the love of his parents yet if someone gives him a little affection he will do anything to give back the device he just doesn't know how to communicate well.

tbh I randomly pickup this novel when I saw some bts scene of YSX and He Yu. Now I cannot stop thinking about…
Jiang Mu's path was always filled with doubts towards Jin Chao, although she saw that life forced Jin Chao to take a dangerous path, yet she avoided him when she had doubts about him, although he reassured her, Jiang Mu always lacked confidence in Jin Chao, always needing other people to reassure her about Jin Chao's motivations so that she could trust him even if she loved him. When she knew the truth about Jin Chao's life, she argued with her mother but she did not confront her mother. She listened to her mother make her understand that she had no obligation towards Jin Chao because he is not her biological son. Then she had a normal dinner with her. She felt a slight disappointment but she never really held her mother responsible for Jin Chao's misfortunes, because she continued to have a very good relationship with her without reproaching her for anything. (Sai Lai is the only one who considered Jiang Mu's parents to be responsible for a very large part of his misery). Jin Chao did not want to show her his vulnerable side because he knows that Jiang Mu was raised in a world without difficulties, he thinks that she could not handle the harsh realities of life so he made the choice to let her continue to live a carefree life so as not to see her go through difficult times with him. When they got back together, Jin Chao had overcome his traumas and his difficulties, being able to now return to Jiang Mu's life without being a real burden for her. It's good that she showed her concern for him but even Jin Chao had the impression that she treated him like an invalid at times so he had to continue to be strong so that she didn't have to play nurse because he is healthy. after sending her his medical reports he was afraid that her situation would drive her away, highlighting jin chao's insecurities. Jiang Mu is a character who can't handle too much hardship and needs to be protected from the world, so she can't really protect Jin Chao's feelings or be a person he can lean on in his hard times. Jiang mu remains a consolation for Jin Chao because he loves her and wants to make her happy but she is not an ideal partner for him even if he is satisfied to love her and have her by his side. Jiang mu is not able to give emotional security to Jin chao nor can she be a support for him. Regarding Jiang Yinghan I left a comment above expressing my feelings about him.

he is a proud man but it is not really his pride that makes him face his problems alone, he always thought that he could not really count on others because the people closest to him (his family) showed him that he could not afford to do so at the risk of experiencing disappointment. Jiang Mu never made Jin Chao feel that he could rely on her, after the accident he had left her a clue (I am only a man) that he was not a hero he subtly made her understand that he was hurt because even if he did not want to become a burden for her, he wanted her to understand his situation because deep down he wanted her to be there for him. But as he said, he was afraid that Jiang Mu's love would fade if she saw him in his most pitiful state. Deep down Jin Chao does not trust Jiang Mu's love, because in his worst moments she was not there he has no certainty that Jiang would have stayed with him in his moments of misery. Jiang Mu, even when things are obvious, has always ignored the clues to follow his path without constraint. I read the extra chapter but it couldn't make up for all his pain; he didn't need to go and seek validation from Jiang Yinghan. Mu Mu's family was too toxic last chapter tried to clean up Jiang Yinghan's image but all his mistreatment cannot be forgiven. In the end, if Jiang Mu's parents had been more responsible and treated him properly like their own blood, Jin Chao's life would have been better.

Jin Chao experienced trauma after trauma, I wasn't satisfied with the ending either. I have the impression that he didn't get justice that he didn't really get the end he deserved, he deserved at least parents-in-law who could love him and treat him like a real son, not people who contributed to his misery and trauma. after Li zan from (The White Olive Tree) he is the second character who was the most tormented by fate that I had to read this writing was really painful.

you should try Oceans Of Time lin yingtao and Jiang Qiaoxi they totally grabbed my heart it's not as painful as this one (even though Qiaoxi's life is not easy) but it's definitely a beautiful story. Qiaoxi and yingtao are so well written and complementary, I am impatiently waiting for the Cdrama.

jin chao's life is really tragic, jiang mu's parents are really horrible people. I wanted him to get away from Jiang Mu's family, his parents neglected and abandoned Jin Chao so much, leaving him to his own devices. Jiang Mu was never there in Jin Chao's darkest moments, Jin Chao was convinced that Jiang Mu's feelings would not have survived if she had seen her in her worst moments. Jiang Mu is not an ideal partner for Jin Chao because he cannot count on her, he cannot be reassured by her he must always show that he is strong that he is not a weight jin chao can never allow himself to be vulnerable with her. All the misery and signs that Jin Chao was pushed aside by Jiang Mu's parents was before her eyes yet she saw nothing and even after learning of all the injustice he suffered she never showed the mirror to her parents. San lai is jin chao's real family he was there for him, he supported him and comforted him San lai and the best character in jin chao's life. Jiang Mu didn't really do anything significant for Jin Chao yet he gave too much for her and her father, he rose from hell to fulfill his promises and be presentable in front of her. while she was living her best life Jin Chao went through hell. I have the impression that even if he finished with Mu Mu, Jin Chao will still have to continue to face all his life Jiang Mu's mother who despised him so much and Jiang Mu's father who neglected her for the benefit of his own legitimate children. Jin Chao has always had to fight to protect himself and give the best to the people he loves, yet he has never had anyone to protect and guide him. This novel broke my heart.
