Am I the only one who finds you shu lang incredibly sexy
At the scene where Fan Xiao was drawing/painting him, he was glowing in that light. He was really gorgeous. He was well fed obviously to be this radiant π€
Does anyone know the name of the song played in the beginning of episode 3? What Zhen Zhen was singing in the…
i listened to all 4 tracks from the drama OST album and it wasn't part of it. I don't think it is an original song specific to that drama. When Zhen was singing and once when we heard it when Fan Xiao brought ShuLang to the gay club.
LOL cigarette odor actually gives me headache but since it is the central theme of the story, somehow it grows on me unexpectedly haha. I gave it a pass
Please allow me to roll my eyes along with you. ππ I read danmei. While i do understand that the bl aspect…
Omg Wallace! I've completely forgotten he's taiwanese lol. First drama of his that I watched was the one with Michelle Ye. I didn't like that drama much but remember his striking features and his kissing scene in that drama. I thought that he was so handsome. But somehow i tried many dramas of his and ended up enjoying none. I remember my friends were all excited about his roles in this and that. And i couldn't join the fun. Haha π₯²
Back to your topic, I personally think that the geopolitical factor weight too heavily in many spheres of the chinese society. Some I actually do agree with.
But in regards to entertainment and creatives projects, I'd wish it were much lesser.
Maybe I am an hypocrite for wishing for things that suits my interests but ... yeah.. then again I do understand that business decision requires to be compliant with regulation while also suiting with the "majority" of the targeted audiance needs.
In regards to the bias and prejudices.... yup agree with you π―

Omg the amount of absurdity. Seems like the report button truly becomes an offensive weapon in the wrong hand. π
I'm rather fascinated to see your post today. Because i stumbled upon a random Taiwanese drama yesterday. The production itself is a bit above average. But i felt the "dedication" coming from the male lead and i thought about his possible compatibility onscreen with Lareina and felt asleep on it. Then i woke up to the thought that if Chinese fans have such issue what if the actors were from Taiwan instead and here i am reading your reply lol. π the timing is surprising!
While i don't know if a China-Taiwan collaboration is suitable or even possible, i was glad i had the thought. That would open the door to incredible possibilities.
FYI after a liuliang like Dylan got rumored his big fandom began protesting the project & author for being…

I read danmei. While i do understand that the bl aspect is a no no for some obscure reasons but im positive there are plenty of great m/f c novels out there. ( This seems to be one by the way. I'm tempted to give it a try. ) Setting in fantasy, apocalyptic, horror, futuristic, ... you name it. So many possibilities and good source material with established popularity and China got the ressources to make it works. People, skills, technology and $$$ and yet choosing to settle for less. π
if those big name are too big to go through the normal size door as illustrated by their obsessed fans I believe there are many other actors waiting for the opportunity to shine.
The 2ML's role and characterisation is already causing issues on Douban and Weibo (Dylan Wang's fans don't want…
Ahhh thanks so much for sharing the details. There is one thing to have restrictions from Censorship board or to have limitations because of the production team willingness or ressources. But to add the influence of the crazy fandom of the actor into the mix as a key variable too?? While i do understand their concerns at a certain level but their involvement is just too much. I'm just one greedy random consumer who unrealistically wants to see a good production but it does pain me to see where c-entertaimment is heading at times. But then again other countries also have their share of issues...
Still hope that there will be a continuity with this novel adaptation. The more i know the more i am interested.
Regardless, I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts EternalSummer. β€οΈβπ₯β€οΈβπ₯
is it bad that iβm actually enjoying this LMAOπ
I'm glad to know whoever enjoying this drama dare to express it. π i see no shame in liking a drama that is well produced. So far, it got me interested.
Omg i can't believe i just found this hidden gem! It's so good! So happy to stumbled upon it and started the first episode because i got hooked from the first episode. There's something just so endearing about everything. Canβt wait for more.
I'm not sure how to present this. Plotwise it already seems better than her other rumored dramas so we're good. Didn't have anyone in mind for ML but i already pictured Tian Jia Rui as the 2nd Japanese ML. Like a vivid image hahaha π€

On a side note, i forgot my sources but i believe this melon about her joining has been debunked twice. Will edit this post if i ever find it again.
Thank you for sharing Norbi.
