I can't believe I am saying this but I FELT GOOD when the mistress got killed. Probably the trauma of past cdramas.…
I hope you'll recover from your trauma.
What I like about this drama is that villain character can be kill off right away, decisive in thought and action. How often do we wonder as a viewer why is this or that villain is still around for so long. As if the screenwriter doesn't dare to root out characters. Scared of what? All characters in a story play their specific role. Some death requires explanation or justification. Some requires buildup in order to make it credible and cohesive with the rest of the narrative. Some just don't. Characters postdeath sometimes requires follow-up but it got to serve a purpose. If not, it is like adding fillers and dilute a scenario. That is bad taste in my book.
So far, I'm pleased with the writing. It's clear to me that editing was done to trim out all the superfluous and to keep the essential for a fluid storytelling. I'm amazed at the amount of work production team put into making this drama. ππππ
She was adorable π it's hard to resist her cuteness
actually, for me, dying doesnβt equal bad ending. Bad ending is when one character is supposed to have this certain fate but instead got twisted because of frivolous reasons. I.e. ohhh making this type of twist will be more memorable, ohhh inventors will get more returns, ohhh lets tweak this scenes so we can insert advertisements...
For me, i care greatly about the script amongst many things. A character that is supposed to die but got resurrected is bad in my book even if i really really like the character.
A character that is supposed to live but the script will kill because they don't know how to handle the characters fate is terrible.
To put a senseless happy ending for the sake of happy ending is sad.
And to make a sad ending because it is a trend it is the worst. Shame on them for betraying their characters.
In case you thought i meant your dramas, im not lol. I havent seen journey to love.
Im talking about general productions, being c, k j or else countries.
You see i grow up watching dramas and reading books so storytelling is everything to me so please dont mind my random unsolicited ramblings haha π

Ahhh you meant the Demon Hunter's Romance?. If you like badass and cool FL, then there will be an arc inside that will please you highly. Her character isn't a damsel in distress through all the whole drama. I wasn't obsessed about it like for this drama but it was very well done too.

Ohhh it's your very first drama with Lareina? Then I'm happy to see you like her this much too. I've seen many of her projects. Dramas, movies and tv shows ...
Yup and he can't do nothing about it. My poor little baby Wei Yan.
It's a good theory. The painting is beautiful but ... it can't remain. Beside, the lady in the portrait was so seductive with her shoulder showing and with the inner garment showing. A goddess indeed. Wei Shao can't possibly let it pass π€
Deng Ke once again is teasing the audience. We are unsure of what is. Real or unreal. Got to admit that I like…
There might be a revelation later. But regardless we the viewers got a kiss .... (correction 2 kisses. She kissed him twice ...) after 23 episodes so +/- 990 minutes later ... π slow burn indeed
