Wei Yan can only but repress his newly found attraction for his cousin in law who considers him as a family member. I just can't but pity such a lost soul. He had tears in his eyes after completing the painting and realizing what just happened 🥲 the poem and background music was also fitting. I played the scene a few time. That was well filmed and written.

So far, every single issue I had with the source material was corrected and beautifully adjusted to the drama adaptation. Everything and everyone plays their roles accordingly. What a magnificent ensemble. The experience as a viewer so far is top notch .. minus the fact that we got serve single episode releases twice in a row.
But i think for the finale. Wei Lord must make a reappearance to win the war and get the land
