It seems that Tencent hasn't given up on TPoB yet, as they have included a picture of Wei Shao in their birthday wishes to LYN 🙌🎉

I've just seen this account in my timeline, she is very clearly just here to stir up trouble, just ignore, mute, block and report. I just looked it up and the account wasn't even talking about C-ent before the very last few days of december and was inactive between january 2023 and december 2023. The account was created december 2022.
Yet suddenly they are commenting left and right about our leads?? Yeah that's not suspicious at all...🙃
🚩This isn't even toxic fan behaviour this is simply trouble maker in action🚩 They are clearly trying to spread some twisted narrative about the cast.
Don't pay them any attention, don't give them more visibility and hopefully they will eventually grow tired of the lack of reaction and go away.

Hi, there! I'm sorry I should have been more thourough in my message and made it clear that even if I was answering your comment, it was also a reply to past messages I've seen in the comment section.
I didn't mean to say that you were blaming LYN, only that bringing this up is a sore point, because of all the very recent bullying.
Also while I stand by everything I've said, I would agree on what you've said about using LSS's name to boost the drama popularity in the earlier phase. Saddly it's something done way too often in C-ent. Not only is it deceiving, but it is most of all very stupid as it is a sure way to anger fans.

As for TLOJ, as I've said, so far everything seems to indicate that ZLS will be at the heart of the story. The title here isn't The Legend of Love, or even worse The Jewelry of Love🤣 it's ugly as fudge and makes 0 sense but knowing C-ent they would 100% dare to use such title 🤪I mean there's an upcoming A Journey to Glow like ???🤦‍♀️. So I'm like you on this.
I WANT character growth and jewelry to be the main focus here. Of course I still want my side of romance. But not at the heart of the story. I want Li Leyan and Cheng Shao Sheng +++, where even if ML is here along the way and they slowly slowly grow to love each other, she accomplishes things on her own. Not out of love for him but for herself. Not because he set everything in motion for her but because she fought for it and made it happen. I want her to shine as a character that is capable on her own.
At least that's what I have in mind.
I love them both and I REALLY want this drama to do right by both of them. To treat them fairly. ZLS has earned a FL centric drama of quality. And I hope this is it.

I perfectly get what you mean and you're saddly only too right about the bullying for these 2. I remember all too well the nonsense that were said in the past about ZLS that is simply not worth repeating when this girl has never been anything but cute as a button 😤 C-ent saddly is a very cruel & cutthroat environment. One of my greatest fear for this drama is that with how popular their CP was in the past, and still is to some extent, some people try very hard to instigate the 2 fandom to fight each other. I really really hope I'm wrong.
That's also why I'd rather clear things right now instead of letting it fester. Even if it's just a few, some people were already commenting on the tension in the comment section. I don't want this drama to be known for this.

We've got 2 hard working and talented actors that are only getting better and better, and a very promising story.
This should be the perfect recipe for a masterpiece and a very enjoyable experience to share for all of us together.

By now most people should know that this was one of the made up argument used to bully LYN throughout the airing of AJTL and I'm really growing tired of reading about it.
LSS is a talented actress who deserves female centric drama BUT if anyone bothered to look at the trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64lhcm9AsbQ ) or even the first posters ( https://kisskh.at/photos/XWNrg_3 ) for AJTL it was very clear that this drama was meant to be an ensemble cast wuxia drama. And that's what it was.
We got a team going through a journey that is very much about love. All kind of love. The love you find in brotherhood & companionship. The love of a makeshift family. The love for your country even when your country let you down. And also the love for a partner & a lover you can trust and rely on. Cdrama titles are very often disappointing and misleading, but here if you ask me it was very much spot on. So for those complaining that the drama was too much about love, what did you expect from a drama called a Journey to Love?

I also would like to point out that at no point did LSS complained or express her disappointement about how the drama turned out, and I think as a well respected veteran actress, and her popularity being at its peak right now, she could do so without problem if she felt that way.
ZLY did it for Legend of Fei and LYT had no problem getting out of her contract for Wu Geng Ji when she exposed the crew for their lack of respect and professionalism. I'm sure LSS has no less power than those 2 actresses.

Now all that being said, ZLS is a very hard working and talented actress who deserves female centric drama. From the little we know so far, there is nothing that indicates that this won't be the case here, so could we stop speculating about what ifs and borrowing trouble.

I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again, I really think Duan Wu could become my favorite ZLS's character. I LOVE Cheng Shao Shang, I cherished Li Leyan and Sang Zhi and I really admire Bai Fengxi. They all have a very special place in my heart, but from the synopsis and all the reuters we got I can't help but think that Duan Wu might trump them all. I'm trying very very VERY hard not to build up unrealistic expectations which are the typical set up for failure. But the more I see the more I like.

I understand that Kelulis are very protective of ZLS and only want the best for her and that's perfeclty fine. But constantly bringing up AJTL only to criticize it when the 2 dramas are unrelated is really starting to sour the comment section.

I hope we could all enjoy and support the cast and their hard work and that 2024 will bring more happiness to everyone here!💕

Yeah I've seen this too, but they were also rumored for the remake of the Kdrama Pinocchio https://kisskh.at/736969-pinocchio so I really don't know what to make of it...
So many names have been floating around for this one, at this point I wonder if they will even communicate about it before the booting ceremony.

Your comment unlocked a dream pairing I didn't know I had and now I can't stop thinking/ dreaming about LYT x LXY and how I would especially LOVE this pairing for Si Ming! I love the LYT x TJC pairing too, but I'd prefer to watch them in a modern drama.

I LOVE Princess Li Leyan from TLB, that's how I started to follow ZLS's career, but Princess YY is a whole other thing. I'm NOT saying one is better than the other, only that they do not follow the same progression at all, and that beside the fact that they both have the best characters growth I've seen in C-dramas for 2FLs, I think it would be wrong to compare them. The temper tantrum will soon be a thing of the past, don't worry about them.

I was wondering about this, at first the rumors were about march but the latest 🍉 mentioned Q2 https://x.com/Cpop_Melon/status/1732617812064215380?s=20 . Both previous installement took about 5months to wrap, so most likely she wouldn't be available before mid-june at the earliest, which even if it is summer, would still be Q2.

Yeah there's really a 'going full circle' feeling to it, that's why even if at first I was undecided on the 2 theories (both were fine by me) I'm now leaning more and more toward the HE.

We were so spot on for LTG... kinda wish someone had managed to push him off a cliff. I really don't get why all the characters were so forgiving with him. YY deserved better. But I'm glad that at least the drama didn't try to pretend they had become a loving couple.

I think you're free to believe the theory that fit you the most. You can be rational and say that with how injured they were there's simply no way they could have escaped death; or you can be optimistic and say that we never saw their dead bodies and that once more they managed to do the impossible and are finally from the power hungry and machination.

I'm so glad I haven't watched the Hi6 yet because I really need it now. I would love to get another LiuLiu drama, but most of all I need another LYN-AF drama! Their brotherhood was just perfect and I need more to mend my broken heart. I'm with you on everything else you've said.
