If someone is ML in a story it does make 100% sense that this guy is gonna get the girl 🤷‍♀️ unless the creator is going for a sad ending, ML and FL will ALWAYS end up together.

Why would it make more sense to cut a strand of hair from both husband and wife and keep them in a sachet? It's just a sweet symbolism of one love for his wife/ her husband.

Again the fact that those guys were the 1MLs of those dramas is a pretty dead giveaway that they are all gonna get the girl !!!🤷‍♀️
But here there was absolutely zilch, nada, nothing, zero forshadowing, hint or clue to steer the viewer towards the conclusion that sweet boy YL got his heart beating hard for RRY.
Storywise she already got her love interest and her lunatic disciple, she doesn't need another lovesick puppy. Especially when we are almost 3/4 of the drama in. It's too late for this.
On the other hand it does seems like the story has been showing us, little by little, that YL feels something more for YY.
'The heart wants what it wants' sure. But story wise it still has to make sense.

She did it once before with Li Hongyi but it was very early on in her career, like 5y ago iirc. HaoYan is how I started following both of their career so I'm really happy we have the chance to see them together again 💖 when they got officially announced it was like an early christams gift. I really hope everything goes well for both of them while filming and that we'll get to watch it next winter 🙏⛄

Yes! I'm so happy for him and the success of A Journey to Love. And ZLS is also getting better and better, and from the reuters we got so far, her character here might very well become my new favorite of her. I'm trying really hard not to get too excited because we don't know much about the story but I really can't wait for this to air! 💖

After the wedding ceremony, the husband should put the hairpin back into his spouse’s hair'
As they already acknowledge each other as husband and and wife privately, and this was in continuation of the gender reversal shopping scene, you can either interpret RRY putting an hairpin in NYZ's hair as the classical fiancée's gift, or like I do, a continuation of the gender reversal with here the wife putting back the hairpin in her husband hair. Which seems to me more fitting for their unconventional relationship.
But sure it is also a token of love.
