I hope LTG obsessed crush isn't the main theme of the rest of the plot. Because I am tired of obsessed 2MLs. We…
Yeah, it would be way more interesting to see him slowly defeat his uncle and cousins with how clever he seemed to be in the earlier episodes rather than watch him focus all his energy on FL...
The only thing ugly here is these people behaviour. LYN is a perfect NYZ and his character's relationship with RX is something a lot of us have been looking for for such a long time in historical drama!!! We finally get 2 leads that act and communicate like adult instead of making things worse in every possible way when things don't go their way, yet here people are pushing for the unhealthy relationship with the unhinged disciple when its obvious he is never gonna be endgame for the FL. If they really want this kind of dynamic they should go read SVSSS or 2ha 🤷♀️ for real I think CHS would have been a perfect Mo Ran. But here LTG is really not someone I would wish for FL and the way this crackship is being pushed by cnets indeed feels more like a way to target LYN than a proper appreciation of CHS's acting.
I think the big factor is he see danger in LTG’s eyes.. He is jealous but I think it’s more on being protected…
It's pretty funny really when you think about RRY asking NYZ how to be likeable in the beginning of their journey 🤣 This girl is talking about herself as if her heart was made of stone AND she wasn't leaving broken hearts everywhere she goes. LTG is really a pathetic character because it seems like she never even knew he cared about her at all, same goes for the chief of the brothel. People everywhere are either fascinated by her &/or in love with her but sure sure she needed to ask NYZ for some advice... 🤦♀️😅 she might be confident in her skills as an assassin/spy but she's got absolutely no clue how attractive she is 🤷♀️

Yeah there is that. I would also add that he is a man on a mission, and a very dangerous one at that. He is the kind of man to always think ahead and he must have anticipated that in such a situation she could now be used against him. He cares for her a lot, and at some point he may have to chose between her and the success of the mission. Afterall that's how the gold was stolen and the princess 'kidnapped', because he was away following her to be sure she was safe. She might be the most experienced assassin alive but that doesn't mean she can do no wrong and will never be defeated. She can say she doesn't care for LTG now but NYZ is no fool, he has seen her reaction when the chief of the brothel mentioned him. And he knows that for the people who have found a place in her heart she could do anything. We have seen how much she cares already for the princess when they've known each other for only a few weeks... so how could she feel absolutely nothing for someone who has been her student for years?? NYZ and RRY might not share the same dream of a peaceful life once the mission is over. But he still is the one who understand her the best, even better than herself.

This. Sure there's a part of jealousy, and he admits it, but mostly he sees LTG as a walking 🚩 and for this he is totally on point. He never doubted RRY capacity to defend herself from enemies, but here he sense that something isn't right, that this man could be a real threat. An assessment based on LTG capacity to defeat his brothers in arms and his capacity to capture and then befriend the king of Wu, whereas she only sees LTG as the crying baby from her past. I love RRY but here she is biased. Everyone points out NYZ's trust issues. But isn't she the one always thinking the worst of him even though he has proved himself worthy of it again and again? Being cautious has always been a big part of NYZ and what made him successful and admired as a chief of Wu state spy agency. It was perfectly highlighted in the beginning of the drama. I know a good drama needs drama. But this arc is a little bit of a let down for me.
Can I read the last part as a bit of a reassurance? Is he talking about the ending of working together or the…
Yeah, me too. I really hope I'm wrong but I feel like we're heading toward a sad ending. NYZ talked about dying too many time for me to trust LYN on this, same with YL. I fear they are gonna make us all cry and break our hearts 😭💔
god i kinda hate his character ngl. I know we need a second male lead who loves FL trope but im kinda tired seeing…
I don't hate him but he really is sending more and more creepy vibes... but if he ever starts to manipulate FL to turn her against ML then I'm gonna hate his guts 😡
I read the comment yesterday too. It's just, as a person of 00s liner I personally also think that no matter what…
Don't worry I'm not feeling attacked on behalf of any actress by what you're saying. I think it's great that people did not forget the past achievement of older generation but there's also a part of nostalgy speaking. Like another comment say I don't think we should always compare older generation to younger generation as like for everything there is good and bad to be found everywhere. Some costume were outsanding in older dramas just like some are nowadays too and some I'm sure where a vision for sore eyes before just like some are also today. " to certain extent their works still can't compare to the efforts, the previous generation used to put." True the work has evolved but I would also add that doing stunt or not is not necessarily a choice made by the actors. Yes nowdays actors are not trained for it, therefor they would need training which takes time and money that the team would sometimes prefer to spend elsewhere. Actors that do their own stunt should be praised for their hardwork, but that doesn't mean we should shame and criticize those who don't. Knowing your own limits, or that you would drain a little more the budget of a drama for a stunt that might be poorly executed and therefore refusing to do it should also be appreciated. If anything goes wrong during a stunt beside those hurt it could create a delay, bad press, fandom crisis etc... and let's not even talk about assurance and stuff like that. I agree regarding the quality of the dance scenes, I love all 3 of them, a lot. But it's undeniable that the dance scene played here by LSS hits differently. That being said all dances also correspond to their character very well in the way that LSS here is supposed to have been undercover as a dancer for while, whereas ZLS only learned the dance a few min before she goes for it, and BL only tries her best to distract her target by seducing him because YXW is absolutely no dancer. Also ZLS and BL are doing solo dance, whereas LSS is doing a very well choregraphed group dance. Thanks for the video it's lovely and I recognized some of the dramas.
P.s: since you like ZLS I suppose you already know but she's gonna do another dance scene in the drama she's currently filming with LYN and I just can't wait to watch it, morever based on the novel it seems that dancing is something that her character particularily appreciate so it might be a better comparison dancing wise.
It's only getting better and better !! I'm really loving how conflicted yet very caring & careful the ML is. But I also can't wait to see him go batshit crazy badass because I'm sure we're heading that way at some point. I really don't care about naysayers, for me there's only one NYZ and it's LYN. Also I really wish we had more FL like this, that the director let shine through without being overshadowed by ML at every turn, I'm thinking of characters like Bai Fengxi, Ye Xiwu/Li Susu or Yun Weishan here, their characters were just SO GOOD in the early episodes but then the drama decided to focus more on the ML's stories and seemed to forget that they too deserved the spotlight. To be very clear I enjoyed those dramas and I'm not criticizing the MLs here, but the choices made by the directors, screenwriters etc... I've seen a comment yesterday saying that younger actresses don't do it like the 85's gen. Sure there is no doubts that those women are very beautiful & talented, LSS is a perfect example here, but maybe it's not so much that the younger generation is less talented but rather that they simply are not given the same opportunity. Anyway enough talk about C-ent mistreatment of strong FL. I'm loving the leads here I'm glad each get to shine in their own way and I hope it will stay that way till the last episode.
