I'm not sure that she would be dead but she would definitely be in a very precarious situation. So far we only know that the brother is power hungry and cunning, but we are not sure if he truly is heartless or not. Perhaps I'm just too suspicious but I'm more worried about the seemingly disabled brother than the one in the spotlight because you know 'the mantis stalks the cicada unaware of the oriole behind'. He just seems a little too helpless, kinda like Hei Fengxi in WRTW or Ning Yi in ROP.

I don't know how far along you are so skip what I'm gonna say if you don't want spoilers but she doesn't really want her husband back, she only wants to gain some time before she delivers her baby and hope to gain power through him because you know she is 100% sure this baby's gonna be a boy somehow. Sure she tries to protect the throne from her husband's brother, but only because she wants it for herself.

ZLS and LYN have both been confirmed as main leads months ago and they will start filming next week. Most likely Ryan Cheng won't be in this drama at all as his participation was just rumours. But there's a good chance of him being ML in Legend of the Female General with Zhou Ye as FL https://kisskh.at/754387-legend-of-the-female-general

I'm very likely on my own for this one and chances of it happening are as good as seeing a double rainbow in the dark but while I was reading the novel I couldn't stop seeing Victor Ma and Vivienne Tien.

Well, same. I'm not a Xianxia fan either, there's only 3 I've ever managed to finish and enjoy but you can be sure I'll be there for The Last Immortal because it's her.

The thing is I also feel the same about LYN. I discovered them both with The Long Ballad and have been following their career ever since.
All you've said about ZLS being cyber bullied is very true, but it is also the same for LYN. From not being talented enough to not being beautiful enough, he's heard it all and is very aware of it, trying hard to improve himself as much as possible to not only please his fans but also appease those who doubt him.
Just like her.
For me they are both not only talented but hardworking actors that I enjoy watching very much and really hope to see on my screen for a very looong time.
That's why what happened saddened me so much.

(No joke I would just love to see them pairing once more as an old married couple someday, like 15y or 20y from now or even more... There were many rumors going around about him, he tried to put things straight which somehow was twisted to harm both him and ZLS. Both were a VERY popular 2nd CP a few years back, and always said they would enjoy working together again if they could so it's saddly not surprising that some people would like to create trouble for them ahead of what could be a very successful drama.

And I'm so disappointed in people spreading drama all over the place when really there is nothing going on.

LYN and ZLS as far as we know have a good relationship. She even proposed some script to him in the past!
So why would some people chose to believe that he would 'throw her under the bus' before their drama even started filming AND despite their friendship is really beyond me 🤷‍♀️

They had to digitally replace 2 actors for A Date with the Future iirc it was scheduled to air late spring 2022 but because of this, it only came out late spring of this year. It's sad but I would rather they did this than butchering the drama by cutting all of his character's scene.

Kinda sad there's still no news about this drama... I really want to see LYT come back as Si Ming 🙏
