Chen Gong vs Huang Yu was phenomenal, felt the tension through the screen. Was craving that ever since Rise of Phoenixes, hell pair them up again! Edward gets closer to that upper hand with each series 🤏🏾

Title My Liberation Notes Spoiler
Oh and PLEASE don’t put us through another dinner date with with Ki Jung and Tae Hoon again💀 the amount of cringe awkwardness i had to endure made those 3 minutes a living hell for me lol.
On My Liberation Notes May 9, 2022
Eh, compared to the past 8 episodes i have to admit these 2 were lackluster. Ik it can’t be just me that felt episode 10 went all over the place with it’s pacing and imagery. Should find its footing again once all is revealed.

i'm sorry i lit bit slow, but why feng ying & chen gong want to kill li yan?
Simply watch the recaps at the end of each episode, many criticize it but those that get lost don’t take advantage of what they’re there for.Though you shouldn’t need them for that specific question, his actions make it quite obvious why.

Seems as though this series will go down as a hidden gem, which is weird considering the many mediocre period dramas that are rated much higher with a much larger viewership. Though it doesn’t bother me, just glad i came across this work of art myself experience.
Pixie_97 May 4, 2022
If even half of this is true... I’m not seeing how people blindly pushed all of this aside to even continue watching the drama, let alone finishing. I can tolerate ignorance or even stupidity if written right, what you’re stating is just a comolete loss of common sense, not only in the characters, the writer/s as well. Hell even the viewers that doesn’t acknowledge any of it as an issue worth noting.

Only watched 1 ep so far, it's not bad but damn they are kinda all annoying in this town, none of them can hold…
Not sure about annoying lol, more so just displaying a realistically mute environment. Not just filling the empty space with dramatic or unnecessary dialogue. If it’ll be a constant bother for you the rest of the series may not be your cup of tea

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
The part where his little brother ends up with Seungwan feels like a total mocking. It was ridiculous and not…
Not falling out of love isn’t the issue with how they went about the separation, many relationships end with neutral feelings still lingering. It’s the character trait consistency that’s the problem.

I find it hilarious that Edward Zhang is starting to have a thing for specific supporting roles that opposes Chen Kun’s roles, while coincidentally having interest in his women💀, great taste Zhang, great taste.

This is the first Chen Kun's work I saw. Any recommendations from the comment section?
Last episode? Lol try the last 20. In all seriousness despite the big nosedive it took , they managed to have 50 episodes of gold with Chen Kun and Ni Ni, definitely worth the watch.

Okay that you liked it but come on dude "best crime show ever", lmao. Dropped it myself.
Lol, don’t let some internet random throw you out of your own opinion like that. If it’s the best to you that’s all there is to it. Hell say it again for those that oppose.

How is Chen Kun in this drama?... I am a total fan...
It’s Chen Kun, if anything you should be asking about the writing/script he has to work with, he does no wrong otherwise. So far he’s excelling.

Hard to believe you thought it would considering the fact i dropped the series lol, unless it’s a rant, which i still wouldn’t bother tapping. If one can’t speak up directly on how they felt on the series or even my comment itself, i have no interest. If i was to have my views on the series changed(not likely), it would be by one that attempts to do so with their own words.

Definitely, and feel free to express any opposite opinions and/or perspectives as well. No offense but posting sources of articles and videos to speak for you under somebody’s opinion has a way weaker impression than discussing it amongst each other.

Lol, I’ll pass on that, i only read further articles/reviews on shows i still have interest in. What I’ve seen out of this series is more than enough. I understood everything they were going for, just poorly paced with little depth. Appreciate it though.

Extremely boring, I don't know what is it about Korean action dramas but they just don't hit. Might be me because…
After just completing and stumbling across this comment, i can definitely confirm your claim on this series not being thrilling is false. In fact it’s the embodiment of what a thriller is from the very beginning to end. The rest of your comment are just opinions which you’re entitled to expressing as you please. Except the absence of romance as well lol, I don’t think you paid enough attention to however far you made it in this series, as it’s sprinkled over almost every episode.

Title Haechi
How does that make it a 1 out of 10?
Some people ways of scoring are... not for others to say the least lol. Your response definitely made me laugh out loud, as that’s how i react looking at many here.

Huh, 8 episodes done. Guess this’ll be another very unfortunate drop for me. After 8 hours you’re still wondering what drives the leads to do the VERY bold decisions they do. You’re given the gist of the FL but all in all this show is paced like a movie, a Lifetime movie specifically, that lasts 16+ hours. You’re not to understand any of the supporting characters, they’re just there for the sake of plot progression. If you’re not the ML, FL, and the other 3 mains, you don’t receive depth past one character trait and being a tool to move the plot forward. Many see this show as underrated, the music and production aspect i have to definitely agree. In terms of the entire series put together, I’d knock the average score down to 7.5 at most.
