The clues were the constant present time scenes of an obvious separated friend group and single mother.The inconsistency of the ending wasn’t realistic lol, no idea why yall keep trying to convince yourselves that, coming from somebody that love this series regardless . It could’ve been “realistic” had they taken their time to write out logical decisions instead of rushed nonsense.

It’s expected of most drama watchers to rather pretend it doesn’t exist by remaining in denial or dont pay attention to what’s been happening and rather or not it makes any logical sense in terms of consistency. Many are able to watch illogical moments happening and nothing clicks to realize it as flaws. took me a while to accept I’m the minority that lacks the toleration most have.

The one consistent issue with this specific writer people seem to overlook is exactly your gripes, which was also my main gripe with Secret Love Affair. The severe lack of believability behind the characters’ actions and development were borderline impossible to sit through without sighing every 10 minutes.. was hoping that this series would’ve been different. Had to swipe a little to find this out, appreciate your thoughts.

Ngl, this seems VERY promising. Haven’t seen a republican era drama look this great since The Rebel. Fingers crossed the writing lives up to it’s appearance.

Yeah i had no issue with their characterization and progression, just the believability of coincidental things they went through,things like the pacing of the FL’s transfer to their office, her trust, the dedication they put into everyone stuck on a middle school mindset(a doctor trying to intimidate somebody that’s obviously far from who he was back in middle school, old bullies still stuck on superiority,etc). Cheap executions like those throws me off immediately, but ofc I’m the minority that’s this picky.

Many, you’re immediately thrown into one. Watch and find out.

Let’s also respect all fair opinions, no matter if they’re positive or negative. If they wish to express their dislikes here then it’s perfectly fine long as the line isn’t crossed, doesn’t have to be all sunshine and rainbows.

Trying to find at least one period drama that doesn’t follow this trend of anticlimactic pacing and try hard expressions. Unfortunate drop, this started out much better than the others I’ve tried.

The unconvincing characters are my main issue with the storytelling lol. That’s a huge detriment to somebody as picky as me, which you can tolerate I’m sure, but my tolerance won’t and can’t recommend to others. Oh and no need to point out you respect my opinion, you have every right to express disagreement on my public comment. Ik some aren’t capable of accepting that.

Polar opposite for me the past few series, which is rare for somebody as picky as me. Bound to strike out of luck soon, think I’ll be doing the same.

Alot of unconvincing characters turned me off from this drama. I can see how people who prefers this genre love it, wouldn’t recommend to those that are picky in the quality of storytelling .

Yeah definitely too soft, feel free to express your thoughts and continue the series as you wish, some aren’t mature enough yet to accept different opinions in a comment section without childish replies.

There are as many moments where I’m disappointed with this drama as i am very impressed. Quite conflicted, though the ratings are fine. Don’t think most understand just how good a series with an overall 8 and above should be.

Have to admit I’m impressed with how natural they appear and the vibrant atmosphere feels. I personally avoid dramas with a doll like cast and/or filters. Won’t have that holding me back on trying this one.

People addressing the romance in this series as unnecessary is quite the understatement. Unnecessary doesn’t define the poor development and writing this drama managed to do in a single introduction let alone the rest. An unfortunate drop for me, if I can’t take all aspects of a drama seriously, it’s a waste of my time. Ignoring blunt flaws is only a form of coping and toleration that i lack.

A great series with so many more topics left to tackle. A few gripes that i hope they improve upon, can’t wait.

MLN made me forget all about this series existence, which is great. Was almost slumped and remembered i left this alone to binge later, truly spoiled.
