Ah, the never ending cringe fest of people that can’t take criticism/praise on a show they enjoyed/disliked. Grow up, realize that the “HATER” and “FANBOY” whining is embarrassing enough to see let alone post. Express genuine thoughts on the series,exchange and respect others’ opinion, and move on.

Beautifully bleak. This is the perfect example of how simple a film can be and still be among the best in all aspects it delivers. The quality of the performances here just feels unfair, something i want to see more often in dramas. When we do receive it most of the time it’s paired with subpar writing. I applaud the writer/director and actors for exceeding my expectations. Hell I’m up for a rewatch.

Ignore the other goofs’ ignorance. I’ll give a sensible response under a comment section that allows anyone to express their feelings on the drama,positive or negative. The series peaks at the second episode and keeps that consistency all the way through. If you’re not satisfied with it by now you’re better off dropping.

No idea what literature god you took me for to translate what you tried saying there lol. But I’ll assume you meant you cleared your initial response up. Agreeing with my point on people like that exist doesn’t negate anything i said after, different points were made.

Idk who you thought was fighting unless its you against your self. I’m simply correcting you and allowing them to speak their mind on how they feel on the series so far. Nothing implied they were going to drop it yet. Many people listen to those with dropped reviews(such as me) because they’re likely to drop for the same reasons. There’s no general right nor wrong way or episode frame to give the series enough of a chance. Everyone’s tolerance is different.

Incorrect, many judge the series as soon as even a trailer is released. There wouldn’t be ratings,comments,and updating reviews on airing dramas if nobody does. They chose to express their thoughts on the current episodes out, not judging the series as if its their final thoughts on a completed series. They’ll drop whenever they feel it’s necessary.

Also of course I’ve known how repetitive the OST is here, but dear god does it become hilarious the second time around when you can focus on background aspects such as that more lol.

Found myself rewatching this yesterday. First kdrama I’ve done so with. The tone is just second to none and can’t be found elsewhere but this writer. I still refuse to watch SITR despite craving to see more of her work only because the “childhood friends” feels lazy to me and does nothing for me. And the obvious controversial character/s.

It’s just their thoughts on the series so far, I’m sure they’re aware its the beginning.

Happens all the time, it’s never that deep anyway, go on about yall day and let the system fix itself if thats the issue. Y’all do this everytime a series drops in rating. Some can dislike the series so far despite yall seeing it as great. Then the rating catches up, or just immature spammers trying to spread irrelevant hate,its fine.

First 10 minute span in a 11 hour series-three rushed encounters between the leads.Lines from complete strangers you would expect from a movie running on an hour and a half. Severe lack of any professionalism amongst all of the staff presented. Flirting?? Forced insert of pranking the “young and pretty” teacher trope. A slap in one of the dumbest setting at the dumbest time imaginable? Am i forgetting something? Yeah I’ll pass on this one lol.

Sure it was💀the literal first thing i saw surely i must’ve been mistaken. At least you learned to stop piling lies on top of another and just defend one. They grow up so fast.

You’ really sat there for an entire day to think of a goofy excuse like that? Knowing i seen everything BEFORE you tried to cover up the review and take the series off your completed list? Yeah this series is FAR from recommendable unless one is certain of the other’s taste. Many think its as simple as “I liked it, you should too”. It does find footing after the 2nd episode, but not enough for me to convince you in going further. You’re not missing out on anything you can’t get elsewhere.

People throw the term underrated around at anything nowadays lol. I understand many cheap overrated dramas are loved and rated way higher, but that shouldn’t cloud the general bar on high expectations of a series. I didn’t even finish the series yet and can tell it’s basic(7.0-7.9). No offense but no “underrated” drama at this rating will have countless comments scattered pratically shitting on several aspects of the series. Especially when nobody steps up with opposing thoughts besides “it’s not among the best but-”.

It is indeed illogical and unnecessary, guess what else? It’s stated as such many times in this series. The point was that Kang Soo Jin took a strong liking to and self reflection of yoon bok, thus after having a few legal and sensible attempts fail she decided to make that into her reasoning for being that “last” saving grace and ideal mother figure. Many moments throughout the series where she was given the opportunity to handle the situation in simpler and safer manners but verbally and physically declined. Her past conflicts with her own mother’s abandonment made her into the woman making those selfish and irrational decisions. A sense of showin what she’s determined to not be for yoon bok. It’s a flaw , her flaw.

I suggest deleting this, you made your opinion invalid the moment you decided to claim you completed the series when 4 more eps have yet to release. Not hard to give genuine thoughts.

Yup, as included in my review it appears the writer still has quite the way to go with seperating their film writing style from dramas. As you watched innocent witness I’m sure you also realized EAW feels like an attempt at another iteration ,but for 16+ hrs becoming redundant.
