No one says it's just the treatment in the work place lol It's everything about her character is episode one -…
Your profile alone shows what type of watcher you are so you defending obvious nonsense this hard is of no surprise. How about you sit this one out and let the adults talk this out champ? If you can’t properly disagree with someone without a childish approach feel free to excuse yourself.

..yeah uh, ima need to stalk your account for a few, too much similarities here. I’ve literally been stating that in my head for an entire hour after watching the episode, things they could’ve shown us before immediately stomping on her repeatedly for over half an hour. That day passes and i notice they had time for that random ass insert of the ML waking up? Then an immediate transitioning to the boss verbally stomping the FL out like a cigarette.. that was my last tick of tolerance.

Bingo, all of these sequences lined up one after another within a 24 hour span and people act like we’re just making up issues, for attention?Lol, great observations, couldn’t break it down any better myself .
I find it hilarious how instead of properly exchanging thoughts on the series so far, some of y’all decide to bash others’ opinions indirectly. I’d rather see childish insults on my notifications than a line of comments scared of interaction with somebody with different takes. If y’all honestly believe those sequences in the first episode weren’t exaggerated in the slightest, i advise finding an actual job while in a toxic relationship, see how those unfortunate events line up chronologically. People are allowed to criticize just as much as those are allowed to praise
Maybe this isn't your type of genre. It's totally fine if you drop it and watch something else that interests…
Nah it’s definitely my type of genre, the lack of believability(or context if they later touch up on their actions) was the issue. Most of my favorites on my profile are much bigger slow burners than this series, some being very similar to what this drama is trying to achieve on technical standpoints as well. It’s too soon for you personally to drop a series this early, but in reality that level of tolerance varies with every watcher. I personally drop as soon as i seen enough. Very much appreciate your mature input.
Hope to never see you again in this comment section. Nice of you to drop early and stop being a nuisance here
Lol, always adorable to see that one immature profile that can’t handle differing opinions. I’ll be sure to stick around and enjoy different takes on this series, not in spite of your ignorance either. Stay blessed kiddo!
Sigh, another unfortunate early drop. I genuinely wish dramas get out of this trope of extremely cheap doormat sequences to draw out sympathy. That alone foretells what level of writing you’re getting into. Looks like it’s back under a rock until something else interests me. Don’t pay my b*tching any mind lol, enjoy the series!
Looks good, only wish the trailer/s were just as raw as the appearance. Could get me out of my drama slump as it felt like nothing came out since MLN that was worth a shot with a serious, subtle tone(my preference).
Yes, the main focus. May hit a trope or two you might not be fond of so be aware.
Convenient drop ins on rare conversations, exes come back because why not, been a while since i dropped so that’s all i remember, also a somewhat triggering intimate scene that nobody really addresses but i feel is way too forced, wouldn’t worry about it if you don’t nitpick much.
The same rating range of 99% cdrama in the republican era, and though I’m not interested in trying this one…
I’m very nitpicky. The series may have a serious tone but i cant take the look of it serious at all, way too glossy and cheap like. My itch for a great republican era cdrama was scratched with The Rebel, none of the others I’ve tried came nowhere close. Definitely a pass on this series for me but i respect your takes away from it.
Idk what it is with most jdramas and starting off extremely inept and dull. Only frustrates me for not having the tolerance to sit through it. Might try again later, might not kid myself and drop.
An exciting 2 hr ride that misses alot of punches where it could’ve hit much harder. Where exaggeration can fit best they keep it subtle as if they lack the talent. Went in mostly excited for Bae Doona’s role just to find out how inept the directing and scripts were. Good watch nonetheless.
If you’re not used to the general MDL viewers’ style of rating shows, keep your expectations high. I doubt it deserves anything “way higher”. Many don’t consider the fact of how good a series rated 8 and above should be because of the many fluff and idol shows that are up there that wouldn’t on critical sites/apps. I’ll probably give this a go myself, just from an interesting premise and trailer.
Didn’t realize this drama had such a frustrated comment section lol. I’ve watched this several months back but i can remember a few clear pros and cons.
Pros: Obsessively refreshing premise,i still remember the chills and goosebumps I’ve gotten from just the first episode, speaks with its camera language first . Masterfully handled interactions amongst the leads, thankfully there’s no romanticized chemistry here, leaving us with a subtle, beautiful development of trust, respect, and empathy for one another.
Cons: Plothole after plothole the later you’re in. Time traveling shows tend to have such, but rarely do you see one that blatantly ignores the logic and rules made in previous episodes to rather put the audience on the edge of their seat or push certain characters forward. One second you see betrayal at unforgivable levels, the next you see puppy cute redemption after getting a slap on the wrist and timeout in the corner. One second you see a character with absolutely no clue of what’s happening around them, the next you see them accessing nonsensical sources in rushed pacing so they can stir things up in time. Several of these moments to mention, y’all get the idea.
Personally i find the series worth giving a shot nonetheless. We rarely get kdramas brave enough to step outside of tropes and typical formulas. This is one of the better ones that do.
Ehh lol, it’s a drop for me. Despite the mediocrity here I see quite some potential for the screenwriter’s future work. Excited though that JCW is getting closer and closer to a staple drama for me, only actor I’m fond of that hasn’t yet.
