kinda surprised at the ratings tbh, it was fun to watch but definitely not worth a 9/10 or a 10/10
It’s worth it here, it suits the majority’s taste. Out of all the questionable high ratings here this should be of no surprise. It at least excels in what the webtoon is loved for.
Webtoon creator sent his thanks to the production team for adapting the webtoon well.Source:https://n.news.naver.com/entertain/article/609/0000660379I…
I’m aware of how the creator expressed gratitude , as I’m also sure they appreciated getting their work farther out to a broader audience. Still doesn’t change the fact it was a loose adaption regardless. Not like it was a bad adaption.
I think you should try to finish it, it's short anyway
I’d only be finishing it for the choreography and more criticism lol. Trust me the fight sequences are tempting, but I’d rather continue the webtoon than stomach a series to the end I’m not enjoying at least half of.
Oh and grow up, let people express or “ship”whatever they please. Who really cares at the end of the day? Nvm, don’t admit that. The chemistry’s undeniably there rather it’s simply close friends or if they want to take it further. Coming from me that never even watched a BL, it’s already a loose adaption and fits, let it be.
Meh, a very loose adaption to what was already a basic premise in the original work. Can’t call it a waste of time, the fight choreography and all around production was pretty top notch, just can’t say the same for the writing and direction. Dive into this with high expectations for the amounts of effort they put in visually and overall school/street pulpy vibes. I personally seen enough with the first half, not bad.
Hm, wanted to give thoughts on this so far but this is very well worth a review once finishing. Will say it’s absolutely stunning and doesn’t hold back on camera language. Very rare to see out of jdramas.
-Where it’s based from doesn’t excuse it’s lazy pacing, especially if it was given context in the webtoon…
... Yeah this exchange ends here. If you can’t comprehend that I haven't expressed my perspective/opinions on any of this since my initial thoughts on the drama, nor opposed anybody’s, you’ll forever think these are conversations based on opinions and viewpoints when it’s clearly based on you rather what’s missing here or don’t. You rather know what defines lazy writing or you have no clue. Why would i consider opinions when I’m speaking on facts, y’all are too hung up on trying to express how much yall like something or how it doesn’t bother yall that it turned into thinking “well that’s your opinion, here’s mine hehe”. Stay blessed champ

Your words are empty behind trying to make it look like me correcting others as invalidating their “opinions”. Be real lol, yes please know when to end it.

If they gotten the criticism it wouldn’t be opposing responses sherlock lol. Y’all need to learn to leave something be instead of useless input. I’m here for the mature exchanges of different takes(gee, wonder why I’m “invested” in other’s thoughts), not to see others whining because they don’t like what i pointed out and hoping i “let it go”💀. Not that deep.
“Did it at any point make you feel lost and confused?”Could you relay this question directly to those that…
Yup, but I’m always around on dramas i drop this early as I’m interested in different takes and/or if the drama patches itself up in a few eps. It can easily do so, as been said before. But for now that’s stirring the confusion with many.

They’re not my questions lol i stated there are comments confused on them that weren’t recognized . Answer it under them. They have every right to want those answered regardless of what the writer convinced themselves to not give context.

... because it is dismissive? Lol you quoted me correcting them on what an example of lazy writing is and telling me what it felt like?😂 You want to instead try to convince me that missing key context in bunched pacing isn’t lazy writing? That’s correcting someone on a fact, not “invalidating opinions”. It’s been done here, i was simply entertaining y’all odd responses.
Did not check the comment section in a few days, got here today to see if everything toned down, i guess not.…
Bingo, but leave it to those that can’t handle differing opinions and/or a critical perspective to put words in statements that those that weren’t feeling the first episodes aren’t “giving it a chance” or “faulting the whole drama”. You haven’t missed any, they’re all feeling the 2nd episode much more and/or sticking in to see if it paces itself better from now on.

... you’re not comprehending here lol. “Enjoy the series, you don’t have to dislike these issues, they all can be fixed later but that doesn’t negate those clear flaws currently”. Does any of that look like it’s invalidating opinions? In fact try to quote one thing from any of my responses that done so then I’ll apologize. If not don’t respond further. Misinterpreting seems to be a trend to hide behind “just like the series bro damn”

I’m aware my opinions are valid lol, but my opinions aren’t the topic here. It’s a fact there’s plenty of key context that was left out of the first episode. There’s been no debating going on lol just the same old repeat of things that weren’t debatable.
“Did it at any point make you feel lost and confused?”Could you relay this question directly to those that…
..? You’re telling me this because? Lol, buddy did you miss the part where it’s others’ complaints in the comments? Go put that under them, no idea why y’all respond under everything else but the ones seeking the response 😂.
😂why are y’all misinterpreting every take that isn’t positive? What’s the goal here? Persuade those that…
💀💀you know whats hilarious here? A few of yall seem to have a very distinct way of getting your arguments across. If it isn’t the other one putting words in our mouth and assumptions , it’s you over here sticking to as long as it fits in and/or is the trend approach “it’s popular, we’re in the majority that’s disagreeing with those obvious facts so apparently they aren’t facts”. A little tip of advice, when in any debate never use the popular side as a counter argument. You just confirmed you’re ignorant of who’s arguing what. As long as you like whats happening and the majority does, there’s nothing to criticize💀. I’ll leave it there for your own good. Good talk
😂why are y’all misinterpreting every take that isn’t positive? What’s the goal here? Persuade those that…
... yall have real comprehension issues. Not even that, yall pretend to have these comprehension issues to try to continue an argument that has a clear side of what’s correct and isn’t. This isn’t my opinion, decision, nor assumption on the drama. It,again, undeniably has these clear flaws, it’s clearly missing key context, it clearly paced itself like a one shot film. These are facts , not opinions. Nobody has an opinion of a show missing key context when it can only be there or missing, multiple perspectives are irrelevant, if you missed the fact it’s missing context thats you . Last time entertaining passive ignorance, enjoy your day!
Most people can enjoy a drama without tearing it apart, just enjoy it as a whole. Was there anything offensive?…

Could you relay this question directly to those that are still confused over the mother’s death, dae beom 2 second yawning introduction, instant tone switch between episodes, and FL’s severe lack of common sense for plot progression? Don’t think they’ve found an answer yet.
