Not sure what conspired you to make this review. This appears as fabricated and honestly comes off very incoherent in which i can only disagree.

Just fucking around , anyway somebody has the same thoughts as i on LDH being overrated?! Had to respond. Every time i mention the annoyance of him in dramas i come across everyone gasps as if my language barrier must’ve lead to some sort of delusional perspective. They just had to make his character bland as hell too smh. Nice to see others enjoying the drama this much. It fell under a similar line of the other revenge dramas that came out as of late (king of pigs, revenge of others,etc) which aren’t quite my shtick. A shame since it came from the director of one of my favorites and writer of another one of my favorites. Appreciate the very grounded review.

Slow not being your thing kinda makes either adaptions not for you no matter which is better lol the pacing doesn’t just suddenly become more tolerable. Especially with this series being faster.

A very peculiar vibe i gotten from this drama that I wish i could’ve taken more from. Had i watched years back this would have the makings of a classic that didn’t age well. Unfortunate now it’s just a typical kdrama that didn’t age well.

Putting someone else in LDH’s role would still be the same issue. The character’s bland.

For the life of me I can’t understand how some describe the romance aspect as subtle or not being overt here. I agree that it’s clearly not the focus but the little times they threw it out there it smacked me dead in the face. My issue with KES’s writing is the lack of consistency, when she excels at one aspect it’s like she purposely stumps in another to..balance it out? Excuse my random nonsense, still salty over not being able to enjoy this. Sigh, gonna look at your profile again to calm down .

From somebody whose red flags are mainly from male actors, allow me to sit that nonsense down. You see such everywhere, may not be as much controversy as one would see female actors but it’s not that deep. If they’re not fond of an actress and want to express so, let it be. You just embarassed other opposers with immaturity.

It makes the scenes half the time. Though i admit music isn’t what I’m most critical on I’m certain it will at least satisfy what you expect for a sageuk of this quality through production alone.

Sigh, a shame. I excused the amateur beginning because of the performances, unfortunately it’s fallen into a similar style every revenge drama as of late has. Not my shtick.

Chance has now become the outcome, I’d advise anyone that’s critical to test the waters instead of waiting honestly. Think I’ve realized these single tracked stories aren’t my thing.

Thought of doing the same, curiosity got the best of me. Then there’s the chance I’d wait a couple more months just to end up dropping in part 1 regardless.

Want a tip? Look back at episode 1 when they’re addressing their dreams/goals in the future. Also slight touches like a tattoo on their neck, etc. There’s also the clear social media searching in ep 2. Hope they don’t hold anyone’s hand on figuring out who’s who further than that.

Not gonna hold you, this some of the most basic level of sarcasm there is. If you couldn’t recognize it even after they clarified as such, that’s a you problem. Did you need a lol at the end?

Hell...yes, this is how you end the year. So far looking fantastic. Expect nothing less from this director and writer together. Don’t drop the ball.

Pet peeves i always have with series involving kids with major roles, believability and consistency. Mother so far has been the only one to put the effort into those aspects that I’ve seen. Wondering if the comedy is subtle here or not to try out myself.

Yeah i just don’t know any of them besides lee do hyun and he’s already a red flag for me. Perhaps I’ll be impressed with someone here.

Extremely lame to me. This series would’ve been a turn off for that exact reason had it not been for the writer and director. Still gonna judge it overall instead of individually(if i even continue) but damn is it a pet peeve I can’t help but to nitpick.

Pardon my intrusion but actually don’t since it seems you want convincing in some sort anyway. This series requires an acquired taste, now 10 episodes deep i can still tell you that the first episode alone delivers everything it has to offer thus far at it’s best. After looking through your watched and dropped,latest interactions, obtaining your ip address and texting this response currently in front of your home I see you haven’t watched any historical quite like this one yet. It’s more than likely not for you currently and you’d need a more entry level drama similar to these tones.

Hope most were at least satisfied enough before that controversial turning point. Haven’t checked on this in a good while but uh, the contrived tone swinging presented itself since the very beginning, exactly why i told others there’s no general metric of when it’s valid to drop a series, tolerance varies. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it suddenly wanted to be a pulpy sci-fi in the last few episodes.
