Knew nothing of this , was scrolling a bit and saw some of the trailer just now. Funny how it’s going on 3 years since i watched My Mister, but i can tell a remake of it straight away from some stalker with wired headphones, muted tones, and a scarf lol. Mark’s possibly the best fit for this as well. I’m quite excited to see how they handle this. The original didn’t hit for me as hard as it did most, I’m hoping this one fills those couple holes for me.
Do yall like, not engage in any relationships outside of the internet? You can’t get past a 9 year age gap between…
Non issue. That’s simply your opinion. And in such cases, I wouldn’t bother with the drama in the first place. Let alone be in discourse under it. Something there must be matching enough for you.
At least for me, this is overall a 10/10 and one of the absolute highlights of the year 2024. That said, I’m…
Yes of course, but to be honest, that’s how at least 90% of the series felt for me. I’d say it time and time again, Yeong Seo portrayal here as the series progressed far outclassed Jeong Nyeon’s, which shouldn’t have been the case with the narrative they went for. Even the final performance between them was underwhelming compared to the others, imo. I wouldn’t trade this experience for any other drama this year. Still, can’t help my disappointment in the adaption of the original.
keep the unpopular opinion to urself pls, this totally misleads the people who are planning to watch this. plus…
Yeah no, they can voice their opinion. There’s absolutely nothing misleading about someone’s personal opinion just because it doesn’t align with whoever. You can feel free to praise the drama and disagree as much as they’re free to critique or rant on their experience.
i just started but dk whether to continue..the cinematography and lines were both excellent..but iam really not…
From a glimpse of your favorites so far, you’d inevitably love this if you stop worrying about the main plot not being your preference . But if you can’t help it, here’s a solution. Leave it for now and rather let another drama of similar genre stick better sometime later , or give this another go when you’re more comfortable with dramas of longer length and heavier plots.
In the meantime , want another easy 9-10? Check out another work of Kim Tae Ri’s, Twenty Five-Twenty One. Those 16 eps will fly by like a film. Much more up your alley for now.
the way I'm skipping all the part of the cousin... I can't deal with her mother, not when I'm living a similar…
Smart, I should’ve done the same since i was also in a very similar experience, doesn’t get any better. Know what I’ll do whenever i rewatch though for sure.
Hola! I did my research on this show about the elements that I like and hate from dramas, and while I love romance…
Romance is sprinkled everywhere beforehand, and imo with characters almost as engaging as the end game couple/s. If you’re into realistic portrayals of attraction and curiosity, along with it’s separations, you’ll enjoy the other relationships heading towards end game. But yeah, definitely worth the wait nonetheless.
Hate to be the breaker of bad news but uh.. he’s quite the simp there as well.
All good. You liked the show and the characters, so did I ,but differing perspectives. And hell, I didn’t watch this. For all i know he’s a much bigger simp here somehow.
Hate to be the breaker of bad news but uh.. he’s quite the simp there as well.
A smile is all it takes to crush on someone or at most, infatuations. There was nothing that happened past that to make sense out of the decisions the ML made there for her, definitely not love. And yes I’m a man, who happens to be very open minded on topics like this as well, but it’s all fiction at the end of the day. The pacing with that relationship was objectively a mess from a writer’s standpoint.
Hate to be the breaker of bad news but uh.. he’s quite the simp there as well.
I can dictate what makes any man love a woman, since you know, there’s general steps leading to something as strong as loving someone. While the feeling comes at a different pace for everyone, the requirements remain the same. No one barely interacts with a person twice and suddenly falls in love, that only defines a crush or obsession. Everything they’ve done before the feelings were expressed had no chemistry or meaningful dialogue/events involved. She played the ditzy damsel in distress at any given moment, danced over making some brick noodles for the first time, and cried over her family. If I’m missing any meaningful connection they had here, do tell?
Hate to be the breaker of bad news but uh.. he’s quite the simp there as well.
Oh, did it take days to come up with that or I wouldn’t get having a life off the internet either? What was there to love with the woman he interacted with twice before fawning over her through mere security footage like a dazed fan ? If you don’t believe he wasn’t a simp there, you definitely shouldn’t believe he’s a simp in any other drama lol, hope that helps!
No offense, but i think y’all are using lack of awareness with fiction to look over y’all own common sense.…
Nobody that understands what fictional things consist of would point that out was the point. Obviously it’s not deep. You were the one pointing that out like it was something deeper than it is. Don’t get defensive now from responses clarifyng lol.
Thanks! Oh, and don't get your expectations up about my reviews though . I write decent reviews when I have a…
… Yeah no you’re exactly the type of reviewer I’ve been missing out on, it’s like reading a parallel me going over dramas i usually despise. Rummaging through the dictionary then showing what we learned for the day, a glass of wine in hand. But back to the shadows 👤.
Here i am over here with my shiny new Chatgpt gun someone lent me, going *pew*pew*, shooting reviews left and right, and then i come across yours…Great stuff. I want more and will add you to my small collection of reviewers to stalk, thanks for collaborating👤.
All things considered they kinda exaggerated drug effects a LOT lol like no one becomes that addicted in 3 days…
No offense, but i think y’all are using lack of awareness with fiction to look over y’all own common sense. It’s a drug that’s made up, why apply any real drug logic to it when it’s in the same scope of how addiction starts anyway. Some drugs hooks the user faster than others, some having worse withdrawals. This is simply a drug they came up with that is an example of those to a higher extent.
I wish this story knew anything about drug addiction. Very inaccurate 🤦🏾♀️
Ah, fiction. How you rattle people’s distinction of reality . Champ, it’s not like there’s anything overly exaggerated here lol. They simply made up a drug with believable behaviors and symptoms for anyone that understands the balance they’re going for. This isn’t meant to go 1 for 1 on behavior and symptoms in reality. And even if so, I’ve also dealt with people going through addiction, and everything here isn’t far off from how it actually is, you just go out your way to nitpick. Lets just enjoy a fictional story involving a fictional drug.
