Someone told me that Someone told them😂😂 that the sign on the last episode on the calender is one that depicts…
She did say in that clip that they had a wedding in the demon world, but then what she described next sent everything side ways…are they allowed to reveal the ending this early on?
For the novel readers, Bai Lu talks about shooting the scene that resembles the BE from the novel. It is only a partial clip…I am hoping there is also a part she talks about shooting the scene from HE, which is a continuity from the BE? Surely they wouldn’t reveal the ending this early on…
I know you are just sharing what’s being passed around but good lord…upon watching the comparison, the make up artists and the costumes designers breathed a sign of relief. Glad there was no 1080p back in 2009.
I have a question for novel readers, what happens to pian ran and ye qingyu?
Their story line deviated from the novel already. In the novel, she didn't want to live any more for a reason that was skipped in the drama. 500 years later, he run into LSS carrying a little fox, who was born of her essence (?) preserved by TTJ but didn't have the memory of her past.
Unpopular opinion, ML also kill all FL family members so how is that different from Thian Huan? And LiSuSu fall…
I think the drama is trying to pivot this with the dream arc, them experiencing a life of love and regret and all that good stuff. But in the novel, there wasn't any strong indication FL was in love with ML as much as he did with her in the human realm. (Someone help me here but if I recall correctly, the only time the FL's mind wavered was when she received the veil the ML sewed with his own hand for their wedding. Meanwhile, his feeling grew stronger and stronger - he didn't even hesitate to use his own body to shield her in time of danger. )
FL told ML to bugger off after they met again 500 years later. But he learned to love her was to love the realms above everything else, and she learned how much he loved her as YXW and later as LSS. What she said in the epilogue summarized it really well:
"Long time ago, there wasn't any love. Back then I was always plotting against him, and he had his ulterior motives. Then I loved him, but we've missed each other in life."
Both actually...When YBC was 8, she fell down a valley and was saved by LSS's mother, who looked like she was on her last leg. She took care of YBC for a few days and sent her home on a flying jade flute. On her way out of the valley, YBC met LSS's father, who was dying. Once he recognized the flying jade flute, he asked YBC for help to give a silk brocade bag to the owner of the valley, LSS's mother. Out of curiosity, YBC opened the bag and found the ancient scale and the icy white thread. The scale showed her the future, the unfortunate end of her own life. She contemplated that the woman must have died, and decided she could perhaps make use of the items to save herself instead.
This is going to be my subjective view, and I welcome the fellow commenters to chime in.
It is not 100% true to the novel's plots and characterization but it has been true to its premises. If you liked the drama so far, I think you will like the novel.
With so much happening in the novel, there is hardly time for fillers even if there were 60 episodes. Something's gotta give. RIP to TTJ dolled up to marry the peach blossom tree creature. Gotta reconcile with the fact it is a loose adaptation that has the potential to deliver with quality. There is hope yet!
how many more of this dream episodes? Someone tell me if that snake woman is gonna suffer to death or not? I want…
If this trailer and the airing schedule can be trusted, what you are looking for happens in ep 17 (10 sec into the trailer) on Wednesday and the dream state arc wraps up in ep 18 on Thursday.
Does anyone know some angsty romance xianxia novels that is translated to English like this one? I’ve read the…
Starry Love comes to mind…since that just finished running. The book was 10 times more angsty than the show. I remember seeing links to the full novel being shared in the discussion section.
