Interested. I usually don't pay much attention to pairings but I like EarthMix a lot. Ossan's Love wasn't for me (I'm not a romcom fan but I'm not going to diss it and it's great they tried something different) but I'll gladly check this out.
Well, that was certainly an excellent first episode... I haven't been able to get into any BLs so far this year (mainly just a bit burned out on romance dramas I think) but this might have hooked me back in. Onto episode #2 <3
Thanks for the ones you've listed. I've only watched two Taiwanese BLs so far (Unknown and Q18...not sure if Meet You at the Blossom counts) and have been meaning to check out more when I'm in the mood. I really miss the sound of Mandarin tbh as I don't watch many c-dramas anymore. Beautiful language.
MDL users don't understand business related shows. The first episode was great.
I don't understand much about business (yet) but certain dramas from last year (Uncle Samsik, City of the City, War of Faith etc) got me into them and I figured out I really like political/ business shows. I just watched the first episode and I'll admit I had to look up some stuff and take the odd note but that's half the fun. I'm very much looking forward to the second as the first was great.
Hi yes! It's called "Meet You At The Blossom", it's super good, its based of like ancient China but it was filmed…
I watched it during the pandemic too and did the same when my boyfriend was around lol. Just so many re-watchable sequences in that drama and I don't want him to know just how insane I really am (at least not quite yet). Only series I've ever known to hit quite the same way is Justice in the Dark tbh. I have an idea what cringe vampire novels you mean yes ;p. But if you haven't read them Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicle novels are very good (well, at least the first ones were). My mother was a big fan and I think my entry into danmei/ BL stuff was sneaking those off the shelf when she wasn't looking. Quite a fun read at 10 years old.
Wait, wait, wait... I've been extremely out of the c-drama loop, but are you saying we're getting Sha Po Lang as well as the rest of Mo Du? I knew about JitD but dear lord, this is gonna be an amazing year ❤️two of my favourite Priest novels
The novel was good. Whilst a tad more on the light and fluffy side than I was expecting I enjoyed it a lot and it was a welcome change of pace (although I prefer his darker, psychological novels...think I'll re-read I Love/ Kill You as a bit of a palette cleanser from all the sweetness 🤣). Hopefully, this paves the way for more of Rangsimant's novels to be adapted if people like it. Sometimes I feel like half my watchlist is announced titles which we don't have a date for or might even be cancelled. A shame as he's a fantastic writer.
Honestly, this is one of the best k-dramas I've watched and it's wonderful to see it doing so well. I can definitely see myself re-watching this as the first six episodes were nothing short of excellent. What a pleasant surprise <3 hopefully it gets more and more watchers as it deserves it!
He is such a fascinating man and I love his work.

Very much seated for this, GMM TV's thrillers and horror dramas tend to be pretty awesome.

It's fine to like different things you know.
