Along with #7 this was my favourite episode so far - even if it was very emotionally draining. The acting from Poom - and especially Up (my word is this a challenging role! and he's killing it) just gets better. I really love Joe confronting Ming, shoving him all the while demanding to know why he's the one crying π’. I'll re-watch this in a day or so when I feel mentally prepared for it.
Next week should be an interesting one from the preview, what with Ming now knowing it was never Tong's back he was drawn to and with Tong taking credit for the stunts a second time around - I doubt he'll get away with it this time. Karma's (hopefully) about to catch up to the arrogant arsehole.
Side note - I've become somewhat obsessed with YEW's Just since episode 7. It's such a pretty song and I might have played it on loop more than once π€£
Also...I still have no frikken idea how to rate this drama lol. I've given high ratings to all the aired episodes but IG it depends how the finale plays out.
so hi it's me again, oshiroen has been so kind that they decided to put their card up again π: https://oshiroen.carrd.co(keep…
Hey again <3 I hope you've been well since the last time I saw you. Yep, it just sucks they're having issues (I'm guessing with people reuploading them elsewhere?) I'll grab the files whilst they're up but tbh I think I'll sub to their Patreon too as a thanks for all their hard work. Catchya soon xxxx
Just to check (as I want to catch up with this drama later this week) - As DO registration is currently closed, I'd need to subscribe to Oshiroen's Patreon and request srt files/ raw files from them? Thanks in advance!
Yep, this could very well be the vampire series I've been waiting for. Looks amazing xxx It's been quite the exciting week with pilots for both this and Happy Ending and I have no idea which one I'm looking forward to the most.
Honestly, I didn't catch on but that might be due to watching Ning's scenes at 1.5x speed as I didn't want to miss out on any useful details. It's fine, Rong'er has always been an amazing character and I won't hold the dubbing against her as she's such an endearing little troublemaker (honestly it's hard to believe Bao Chang En is only 22 years old...girl is slaying it and I love her already).
Well, sh*t does this look absolutely amazing. Plus only a year to wait! π Please keep on coming with the horror and supernatural hemed BLs (perhaps the odd GL one too?), they all look fantastic.
People want instant romance scenes that doesn't make them watch seriously to know what is going on. Shows like…
ππ―π₯ Plus I don't think it's too much to ask to give us intrigue lovers a couple of quality dramas like this a year. If anything it's a good thing as it allows us time to mull over things and appreciate the finer details we might miss at first glance. Granted even with all my googling and taking notes (I'm not too versed on Korean history) I've missed a fair few details and get a tad lost at times but that's what the re-watch is for.
They're all independent, only linked by coming from the stories of Club Friday radio callers. :)
Ah interesting...I'll start with this one then and see if I like it :). Thanks a lot! Edit - Loved the first episode. I'm heavily biased towards Engfa anyway thanks to Bangkok Blossom (I doubt I'm the only one there!) as the girl is so gorgeous and talented. So is Charlotte and they're wonderful together - as these will also be the leads in Petrichor I'm so beyond hyped for that too now (granted Petrichor is a GL mystery drama so...what's not to love? We need more than one or two of those!).
A quick question - are all the stories independent of each other? (my main draw to this is to see Mook/ Engfa again...IDRM watching the other stories but just curious if I could start with this one).
Oh boy...this was not good at all. It was infuriatingly bad.To those who may be here for Wang Haoxuan or who see…
TBH the Coffin Town arc in The Untamed will always be one of the highlights of the drama for me thanks to Wang Hao Xuan. Not only was it disturbing and creepy (and I love horror) but Wang Hao Xuan as Xue Yang was just...perfect. Kinda fell in love with the guy's acting there and then.
The first episodes of Dance of The Phoenix, where the focus is on Yu Ming Ye and Feng Wu are great...as you say they had much better chemistry and YMY was extremely likeable. After those episodes I lost focus too and ended up just skipping to his scenes. I did the same for Immortal Samsara...which honestly is *not* a bad drama, the cast is amazing and if you love xianxia I could see it as very enjoyable. It's just not my favourite genre and the storylines can get somewhat repetative.
What's good is Wang Hao Xuan seems to have a few main roles coming up. Fingers crossed they air soon and they're well-received (and I do hope at some point he gets to play an "adorable delinquent" again, it suits him a little too well π€£).
Well, as it seems from your watchlist you're watching A Tale of a Thousand Stars next, you're in for a treat if you loved Moonlight Chicken. Both are amazing dramas IMO. (I'll also say Cupid's Last Wish is worth a try, I'm not a fan of slice-of-life dramas (or romcoms) either but it's decent if you like the actors.

I'm not going to be able to unhear Ning now lol! Poor Rong'er...
