Whilst I fully agree with you I'm curious how the story would play out if it was in chronological order. What I might do is make a note of each of the story arcs and re-watch them in order once the drama is done airing (as yes, this is one I'll certainly be re-watching if it's as good as I hope, and perhaps not just the once either. Especially as it's been a few years and my memories of the storyline are somewhat vague).
But I'm certainly very, very excited for this...

Well if it's from the director/ screenwriter who gave us Girl From Nowhere I have high hopes. That drama is just so unique and interesting.

We really, really need a second season of IFYLITA to cover the "Commander Yai" era/ timeline (that was hands down my favourite part of the novel). As adorable as Khun Yai is, Commander Yai is just 🔥🔥🔥and I could only imagine how much passion Bright could bring to *that* role if it ever happens.

I'm truly happy for those who enjoyed this ofc...I just hope we get more of this story at some point in the future. It seems somewhat tragic to leave it here.

Both this and Uncle Samsik have my full and undivided attention right now.

I'm not necessarily a fan (as of yet) myself but do I love historical dramas, so if Idol Factory decides to give us a GL one I certainly won't complain (there have not been many historical GL dramas so far).
And that is certainly very interesting to know! I do agree having bisexual/ gay (or at the very least open) actors adds to the authenticity. One of my most recent "crushes" (I have a few of those) is Mook from Bangkok Blossom and my word is she stunning! She's also bisexual/ lipstick lesbian (at the very least very much into her tomboys) and shall star in the upcoming Petrichor (and as that is a mystery/ detective GL drama...well, how can I refuse?).
I'll let you my thoughts for sure! If it's not too presumptuous I'll add you as a friend as I'm awful with names (and I might well have overlooked Blank without your comment).

...Ah. Well there goes my plan of watching season 1 in the meantime lol. So it really is "wait until it's fully aired before watching" for the best experience.

I've made that mistake a few times with Thai dramas already lol -one episode a week is pure torture if it's a good series.

I'm not a gay woman, I'm asexual but I still enjoy well-written love stories just like everyone else. Likewise however without that vulnerability and transition of emotion I'm somewhat lost as I find it difficult to connect to the characters and their relationship. Whilst I don't object to NC scenes and I will watch them (bonus if they're artistically shot) they'll do nothing for me if I haven't fallen in love with the characters when their relationship gets to the point of intimacy.

I didn't care for GAP and Dream (I did give both a fair try) but I'll give Blank another look once the second season finishes airing I think. Thanks again.

I'd be willing and even happy to help you dispose of the body when you're done (provided it's not too messy!). As much as I dislike Ming, Tong is just a disgusting creature and I hope karma does a tad more than bite his a$$ in the end).
...But then as much as I can't stand Ming that bastard made me cry in the last episode >.<. I really wish Up would do less of an amazing job as it's increasingly difficult to hate him in the drama (well not really, Up's fantastic).

It makes me sad to see the uncut version at 8.1* but I'm sure it will get there (also a lot less watchers for that page).
But 8.5* is well deserved all the same. It's a quality adaption and I'm very impressed so far.

A GL mystery series? Yes please. There are some wonderful BL detective stories, I'd love a GL one.
A GL mystery drama with Mook in the main role? So much yes...the lady is beyond beautiful.

Plus this looks somewhat creepy and scary so I'm very optimistic. Hopefully we're not waiting too long.

I was enjoying this a lot at the start and usually I find xianxia dramas very difficult to get into. Beautiful CGI and costumes, a phenomenal cast and not one but three gorgeous and badass leading ladies. Somehow after a while I just lost focus and when that happens I just delete the drama from my list and move on.

I'll still check out the other two Matchmaker dramas (and the donghua) as there's something about this setting that clicks with me.
