There's indeed people who have difficulty getting through the first few eps but it'll get better, don't give up…
I'm not sure if this will help but I'd recommend giving the novel a try. I really wasn't sold on the first episode (I'm still not tbh) but the novel hooked me in right away, it's so beautifully written.
The thing I like about C-dramas is that, when they put their mind to make a good bromance drama, it’s turns…
We can hope at some point in the future the censorship laws will ease up and we can start getting bromance c-dramas again. I miss them too, Under the Skin especially will always be one of those stories I'll always return to now and then as it's just so incredibly written and well acted.
More thriller and supernatural Thai dramas would be great...especially with some horror thrown in. Hopefully the second season for this isn't too far off, it's just same it won't be the same actors :(.
lol i just checked and this drama is in the first iqiyi section, yesterday it was fox spirit match maker
Just checked and Fox Spirit Matchmaker is now fourth and White Cat Legend is still first...I hope that's a good sign this drama will air very shortly *fingers crossed* (and also that FSM airs for those looking forward to it ofc). I've said it before but c-dramaland is just such fun chaos sometimes.
I finished watching 180 Degree Longitude Passes Between Us recently and I completely fell in love with that drama. It was just so beyond beautifully written, the characters were all relatable (to a fault perhaps) and the dialogue really was something else. Everything covered from politics to social issues to philosophy to what it truly means to love someone...how could I not love that. Naturally, I wanted to see what else the writer/ director had done. I found this, and somehow ended up binge-watching it as I couldn't stop (just as well I have a day off lol). Too interesting.
I get that people don't all like the same things but Tu Punnasak Sukee is a name I've memorised and I'm hoping he writes more dramas in the future as I love his work. I gave 180 Degrees a 9 and this an 8.5 (180 Degrees just really struck a chord with me I guess and I'll be re-watching it in the near future).
Guy just gained a new fan I guess <3 He's an amazing writer.
So, I'm rewatching the released episodes, and can't believe I just noticed this on my rewatch of episode three.…
I was planning on re-watching the aired episodes myself (I just get distracted extremely easily). I can well believe that about Fluke tbh...it's going to be very interesting picking up on everything I missed the first time round. Especially with how much context the flashback episodes have given us.
I finished watching 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us today and...honestly, just wow. It's one of the very few dramas that has moved me to tears - it's an extremely beautiful (if not at times very sad and emotional) drama. I don't really care about ratings so much but it deserves way more than a 7.9 IMO.
This is making me remember why I completely fell in love with c-dramas to start with tbh...what an amazing start <3. The first episodes go way beyond any expectations I had for this drama (and oh boy did I have high expectations, how could you not with this cast. Zhou Yi Wei is just too good in his role here). So very thankful we get two episodes a day for this drama.
Well, if they want to get many viewers, then they should promote this show properly and not geo-block it for international…
So much this. Whilst the drama has its faults I'd gladly have supported it if I had been allowed to as it's been very entertaining. Hopefully, they won't punish us by holding the final episode hostage...I really want to see how all the insanity ends with this one.
That feeling when you watch the first episode of a drama on a whim, then somehow it ends up being one of your favourite ever shows lol. For me at least this has everything I'd look for - plenty of action ( those Garuda vs Naga GCI battles are truly something else. So beautifully done), interesting crime cases with a supernatural twist, a great insight into Thai culture and history, plus one of the sweetest and most endearing main couples ever I've seen. Phaya and Tharn are beyond adorable together and both Billy and Babe have done a fantastic job with this series (it's been said but it's so hard to believe this is Babe's first role, and Billy is just 🔥so charismatic).
I'll have to go back and re-read the novel but from what I remember they've covered around the first half of it. I guess it depends on how the final episode turns out but I'd love a second season, especially with what's still to come in the story. Not quite ready to say goodbye yet.

Ah right, and also, poor girl 🤣

Now I really can't wait for this,
Ah well, only a day left to wait <3 (and it seems there's already a season 2 planned? Nice).
