I'll wait for all episodes to drop and then watch. Yibo has been picking up some really good projects.
After seeing how good he was in Hidden Blade I'm sure he'll be great here. I'd wait for all episodes but I have zero impulse control when it comes to dramas like this. Too interesting.
Sometimes I wish ratings were just disabled until a drama was done airing, or at least in it's last week. I'm just thinking of how many people get scared off something they might enjoy (plus review and rating bombing).
Whilst the series isn't quite what I hoped for, I agree it's enjoyable enough and today's episodes were a huge step in the right direction. It's not a perfect drama, sure, but I'm quite looking forward to next week.
One can only hope that China will be able to make proper BLs somedays because they have great actors, production…
That would be wonderful, but sadly I doubt it will happen (I still love how The Spirealm got all it's episodes air-dropped, and then was taken down less than two hours later). My hope is that if countries like Taiwan and Thailand are starting to adapt danmei novels, titles like this might get a remake at some point in the future. Anywho, I have no idea how I haven't seen this drama yet but it seems to be the next I was planning to watch! (Edit - dropped as not for me unfortunately. I know there's an SA tag but the attempted non-con stuff at the end of episode 3 into 4 didn't vibe with me (sometimes I'm cool with it, others I'm not). Completely my fault, nothing to do with the drama.
It would be wonderful if more danmei novels got adaptions, I haven't read this one yet so I think I'll go track it down in the meantime as it sounds very interesting (I'll never say no to a good transmigration story).
what's the correct order to watch these series ?and where should I start first I'm so confused .Please reply.
I was just wondering the same thing...that's a lot of related content. Personally I'm gonna check out Tale of a Thousand Stars first as the story interests me (and I need a distraction until Two Worlds drops).
Yep, we certainly need confirmation. I had no issue waiting for The Sign's finale as we'd get the uncut version and Idol Factory was very clear and honest when they'd be streaming it (unfortunately everything Fix Entertainment isn't lol). Waiting a while is fine, it's just not knowing when or if it's happening. - hopefully it is at the end of March.
Happy birthday! I think I first saw this guy as Teng Zijing and part of me has never gotten over that character 😭What a fantastic actor and I hope he gets more roles with Zhang Ruoyun as those two are too funny together. Anyhow I can't wait to see him in War of Faith <3
Id like to say that some people are unfortunately way too disgusting in the comment section, we all can tell hong…
Whilst I'll admit I'm not too keen on HSZ's acting or Hyewon as a character, I think saying it once and moving on is more than enough. She's an actress and is just doing her job. But this is why I try and stay away from comments sections. I agree there's absolutely no reason to go after her or make personal attacks.
The new trailer makes this one look like it might actually be good. Maybe they finally got a decent script and…
That trailer was really good.... I'll probably check out the first one or two episodes (and the plot sounds so outlandish and convoluted I'll probably enjoy it). I'll see if I can find the novel to read in the meantime I think.
This is one of those dramas I've felt compelled to go back and re-watch afterwards, as well as re-reading the novel. Overall I love it, it's very unique and interesting and is fast becoming one of my favourite dramas. Parts of the later episodes did feel disconnected and rushed at times, but I feel it's still a commendable effort with how much they were trying to pack into twelve episodes. A solid 9.5* from me overall and I hope we get more dramas like this in the future.
I'm very much looking forward to the special episode and I hope there's a second season.
Omg yeah fortunately actors are good but can’t save some script direction. "The ravages of time" is such an…
That reminds me, I still need to finish the Ravages of Time donghua (I think I watched the first few episodes and then got distracted). I'd still watch the live action when/ if it happens (you never know with China these days). Hopefully they throw a big budget behind the battle scenes and go all out.

the guy is twice my age but idc, he's one of the few actors I severely crush on 🤣so talented and gorgeous and ages like fine wine.
