Ah yes, a five year wait and counting for my favourite ever drama and the cliff-hanger of all cliff-hangers *cries in deep depression* lol...I will more than likely lose what's left of my mind when JoL season 2 finally airs. *also please let Shen Tu Nan survive. I'll be more than a little upset if anything (else) happens to him*
That's good news, but hopefully we won't be waiting until 2030 for it 🤣 But really, this has been an amazing drama and I'd love to see more of the characters. Especially considering the events to come.
PPL THIS is not an anime adaptation, is basely based on the manga with same theme but other characters/country…
I feel the movies are quite underrated on here, they're not perfect but they had their own charm and I enjoyed them. Parasyte was one of the first manga I read and The Maxim one of the first anime I watched, both are still among my favourites.
As a side story I think this was decent enough, but then I started watching assuming it would be a fun monster movie series more than anything. I'm curious what a k-drama side story of Tokyo Ghoul would look like after seeing this.
Sadly YMX doesn't change much. Even after he finds out about ZX. He keeps pushing himself on the latter. It's…
I finished reading it last night. I adore Zhou Xiang but oh dear was that man right when he said he was a smart guy who was stupid when it comes to Ming Xiu. In fact stupid doesn't cover it lol, a beautiful character, very open minded, calm and laid back and unfortunately the very sort to be taken advantage of >.>
I know Shiu Qian Cheng wants us to see things from YMX's perspective. How he was only 20 years old, had a messed up childhood, the fact it was ZX's back he fell in love with all along etc etc... whilst I'm open minded enough to read all that and take all of that on board, all the past events with "older" ZX is way too much to forget (the house arrest especially).
A shame in a way Zhou Xiang didn't cotton on to who Ming Xiu's family was those three years ago. If his father had known about it and locked the creep up back then perhaps all of this would have been prevented 😒Oh well, I like to think in another time line he gave Xi Rong a chance as that guy just all but disappeared after a while.
Poom is indeed beautiful. I was re-watching the trailer and I'm definitely checking this out. As said, the story is just way too interesting.
Unknown sure is amazing and I love it, it's such a beautiful story and I'm so happy to see a non-censored adaption…
I'm just watching those two dramas plus a few k-drama thrillers. I think The Spirealm's meant to be back on IQIYI soon so I'll definitely re-watch that, it's an excellent series. And yourself? :)
I think that's actually the whole point of her character. She supposed to be chaotic and not composed to display…
This might be a small thing but I'd have liked a short scene back in episode 1 of her seeing WRL off when he first journeyed to Shanghai. She abruptly appears at the beginning of episode 21 right when the crisis in the city escalates, somewhat like a fun, warm chaos amidst all the danger. On one hand I like this, on another I'd like to have known more of her existence than WRL saying at the New Years party he has an arranged marriage.
I've checked on iqiyi.. it's coming soon!!! Ah I'm soooo happy.. and I've reserved it
Still no date but it's =gotta be soon! I was going to re-watch this the moment fansubs were out, watching it in HD is a bonus (hopefully there's no "last minute" censoring as this series is amazing). I'm really looking forward to seeing it again <3.

I tried LFLS but again I couldn't get into it. It's fine though as I'm finding more than enough Thai BLs I'm looking forward to (I think My Stand In is going to be really good). I'd definately say to check out the Two Worlds novel if you have time and if the mood takes you. Not going to spoil anything but the first chapters go a lot more into Phupha and Krams back story (which is my main and only gripe with the drama tbh). You're right though, it deserves an 8 at least.
This show is really good, and so enjoyable but can't believe it has got higher ratings than unknown and two worlds,…
Unknown sure is amazing and I love it, it's such a beautiful story and I'm so happy to see a non-censored adaption of a Priest novel after all this time (and I hope we get more of them). With Two Worlds...I love what I've read of the novel (aka what's been translated, it's fascinating) but I feel the drama skipped over too much in the first episode. I'm sticking with it for now as the plot interests me. Sadly I couldn't get into this one...guess I'll keep looking for k-BLs that I like 🤣(not having on the drama ofc, just not for me).
People just have so much double standards it's ridiculous. I won't pretend this drama is a masterpiece, it's definitely…
There are certainly more than a few dramas on here with a very high rating which I personally wouldn't agree with or try to understand why they got it. At the same time I've seen so many dramas which I'd consider "must see" titles which don't even break an 8*. If you enjoyed the drama, that's all that matters. There's some parts of TIH I liked, and some I really didn't. More than likely I think (depending on the ending ofc) I'll be giving it a 7 or 7.5* (not low for me, I'd consider it a "high average" to my tastes).
Honestly I don't care much for Na Hye Won as a character, nor Hong Su Zu's acting here. But not many actors can or will pull off a stellar performance on their debut role, and for all we know it might be a matter of bad directing or the script. If or when she gets future roles I guess we'll find out then.
Sadly YMX doesn't change much. Even after he finds out about ZX. He keeps pushing himself on the latter. It's…
Eh I could never finish Addicted and tapped out pretty quickly on that one. There are some danmei authors who don't include rape, abuse etc but there sure is a general trend to go that route sure.
All I will say is having that creep completely freak out over ZX "returning" and having suspicions of im somehow occupying "this" (aka younger) ZX's body is very, very satisfying. This is the sort of revenge I approve of. And no he doesn't deserve a second chance.
I'll give the drama a try certainly, if I like Poom in the role then I'll be watching it as I guess it depends on him lol.

The "House Arrest" chapter? Yeah...no, that was definately rape😢 . I had to step away for a good few minutes after that. Way to break someone >.>
I had a feeling that MX wouldn't change much and I really wasn't expecting it. He's horrible and I've got to the point where ZX caved into taking money from him for his mother's treatments. I'm sticking with this as Zhou Xiang is such a lovely and well written character and the story's very interesting but...eh. I'm not here for the "romance" I guess lol. Far too toxic for me personally. Others might like or love it, I'm sure not gonna shame them over a story and fictional relationship, but not for me.
Not sure if I'll watch the drama. I'll give it a try and I guess we'll see if the adaption is as well written as the novel.
Ouch. Well, the novel is certainly a tough read (and I'd probably have stopped by now if it wasn't so interesting. SQC's writing style is so nice). I absolutely love Zhou Xiang's character (he's just charismatic, calm, and everything I enjoy in a character) about as much as I despise Ming Xiu's uber-controlling a$$ (I'm up to around chapter 50 just after all the flashbacks). I guess YMX is gonna get some major character development now but I'm rooting for Xi Rong. ZX deserves the world. Back to reading anyway...let the torture continue 😒
I'm interested too, and love the anime. But this isn't an adaptation of the manga or anime. It's a spin off. So…
I agree, we already have Maxim and the two movies. I'd be disappointed if we just got a straight remake (even if I'd have loved to see Shinji and Migi again). We'll see how it goes. The synopsis is interesting enough for me to try it.
They'll release it again after re-censored and re-re-edited??? Lol. So you should watch this 'uncut' version before…
IIRC Mo Du had copyright issues as well as (possibly) the BlackPink's Rose controversy when they used her picture without permission. It's been a while and there were a lot of rumours circulating why JitD was postponed/shelved. We can hope about Immortality, I'm beginning to think that drama is just a fever dream by this point.
This drama really deserves every bit of it's recognition, it's wonderful. My favourite drama of the year so far (and it's a welcome change from the usual offerings we're given in regards to c-dramas). I'm curious if it's going to be censored at all on it's re-release, but it's a big win for danmei adaptions all the same.

I quite like what I've seen of ANW's work so for so I might have to check this out.
And they also wonder why people go to "unofficial" sites. That's insane.
